  1. I think you should learn how to read smarty pants.
  2. I think once people see us play in our Dutch kit, you'll all appreciate the beauty of it.
  3. Mourinho didn't buy Traore... He was unofficially under our books for ages before Jose arrived. And why is Costa not our number 1 striker? Why is it between him and Falcao for you?
  4. I think you're writing Stones off far too quickly. How do you know that Stones wouldn't step up if JT retired after next season? And we could still buy an experienced CB instead, but who do you suggest? There aren't many quality ones out there. In a couple of years we'll be in the same predicament - obviously hopefully Zouma has developed by then but we'd still need to find him a long term partner and John Stones, if he continues to develop as well, would be a very ideal partner for Happy. Why not get him now and get him to be under JT's tutelage for a season or two? He plays with maturity beyond his years. The quoted price for Stones atm is a £26m bid from us and I've seen that Everton might hold out for £30m. Not sure where you're getting £35m from. Look at it this way - if the club are looking to spend £25m+ on Stones you can guarantee that he'll get lots of game time.
  5. You need to look a bit more long term than that...
  6. People really need to let Kalas go, that one game against Liverpool got to too many heads. Zouma, Stones, Christensen are all more talented defenders IMO.
  7. Why not? Lahm is a great example of a player that keeps up his consistency no matter what side he's played at. He'd play season at LB, some at RB. Azpi is of a similar ilk IMO.
  8. He's never been given a proper run out at RB under Jose. You can't really take the CWC semis to deduce that he wouldn't be as good on the right.
  9. I'd rather have Moses and Traore here than Pedro tbh. If we're going to improve our RW situation let's wait and improve it properly.
  10. Well we have signed Falcao and Begovic in case you haven't noticed...
  11. Or we could (hopefully) sell Cuadrado and possibly have an AM set up of Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Gotze/Isco, Traore. That's very solid.
  12. I would really like to know the official stance on BT's home grown status tbh.
  13. Stones has a much, much higher ceiling than Cahill ever did. He's already better than Cahill in certain areas of his game i.e. his ability on the ball and pro activity. He can also play RB very adequately. He's a proper complete defender. Would be a nice signing - hopefully he and Zouma become our new partnership in the future.
  14. Only because his release clause was £32m. Eden back then would go for £50m+ easily in today's transfer economy, if he didn't have a release clause.
  15. CFC also added the Mobile to Samsung when we initially got sponsored tbh.
  16. Thought I was the only one. It's a trend around here, a lot of people are underestimating City, United and Arsenal, who will continue to spend and get players in this improving their squads.
  17. We should've never sold Schurrle for Cuadrado tbh.
  18. This is exactly my point. Pedro was never established in the Barca XI, they were always looking to improve on him. Why? Because there are better players out there. There will be better players coming up as well. Pedro would just be a stop-gap signing.
  19. I do hope they get rid of Tyres sometime soon.
  20. Those were all brilliant signings and all players that I do really rate, but I just don't feel the same about Pedro. For me it's not about him being a supposed Barcelona reject, I just don't think he's good enough to elevate us to the next level. Don't get me wrong, decent player, but he's not going to tie up the right hand side for us for the foreseeable future.
  21. Lovely, lovely signing. Very happy with this.
  22. He's good, but not good enough to start for a team of United's calibre.
