Of course, but a lot on here aren't doing the latter.
-
Because that's been the media's focus, so people are concentrating on that.
-
To me and a lot of others here that isn't the reason why we're defending her and Joe Fearn at all. We're defending it because it's wrong in our opinion. Not because she's popular.
-
Thank you for this. Very annoying how a lot of people think she's only being defended because she's an okay looking female.

Gohkan Inler going to Leicester. £3m. Wow. Claudio doing some nice business this summer.

Agree with this.

Shocking lack of depth and what can we play in big games?

I agree that he isn't on Costa's level. Costa is a world class striker, Remy is a good reliable striker that would certainly be able to fill in for a few games as he proved last season. My point was that he does deserve (most of) the praise he gets. -
Courtois commands his area very, very well actually. He rarely drops a corner or crosses and comes out very well for them. Not sure what you've been watching but that's definitely a strength of his.

Remy bailed us out on several occasions last year, he deserves to be trusted. He scored crucial goals. -
Silva and Sterling are actually very decent at tracking back, and Yaya would definitely have to be more reserved. I still think they need a better DM than Fernandinho because you're right - they will struggle.
-
Yeah, for me Silva has always been a wide playmaker. Silva - KDB - Sterling. Definitely.

Hublot would've been a great shirt sponsor.

How do you know it's not in Eva's legislation to make a comment like "thank you for the support" and that it's out of her professional job? I disagree. If that was so she would've been fired by the club. She's been banned from training and the touch line because the manager of the team, Jose, doesn't want her there and that's under his jurisdiction, so he can make that decision (which is very unnecessary IMO). Eva however is under the medical team at the club, and if she did violate her terms of contract she would've been fired by now. They both didn't do well but what Jose is doing far outweighs what Eva's done wrong. What Eva's done wrong is go to social media and aggravate the situation. What Jose did wrong is throw a petulant rant on the touch line, being absolutely childish in the media about the whole situation and then banning her (and her fellow physio who were simply just following instructions! From the referee!) from even attending the matches on the sideline or the training ground. It's ridiculous stuff from Jose IMO.
-
Jose is not her manager though...
-
She would absolutely not be fired for saying thank you to her supporters at any other company... She didn't do anything wrong, she was doing her job.In the real world there's the law, trade unions etc. No chance she would've been fired.
-
For me Jose is in the wrong here, yeah Eva has stoked the flames with her FB post but Jose did not have to publicly criticise the medical team especially when it's their job to do exactly that. Apart from the FB post Eva hasn't done anything wrong but Jose has unnecessarily blown everything out of proportion and now every single back page will be dominated by this absolute non story. Disappointed at both of them, but more so at Jose.

Yes to the latter, that's exactly why I'd have Mikel play - City are very big on their passing game so naturally you'd want someone who can disrupt that. I don't want Mikel to mark anyone at all (nor Zouma tbh), that'd be suicide. It'd be naive to just focus on Yaya tbh, they can damage us in a lot of other ways. If we want to man mark Yaya we should put Matic on him, he can deal pretty well with him as we've seen before. City have too much talent going forward for us to focus on just individually man marking any player. We need someone who can sit in front of the defence and plug holes intelligently and Mikel is the best player we have for that.
-
The reasoning is quite fair I suppose, I can see where you're coming from but for me personally I'd rather have Mikel doing that job.
-
I definitely agree with your sentiment, however I feel like if we want someone to patrol the space between midfield and defence then Zouma is just an unnecessary option to even have considering Mikel and even Ramires are better at doing that than he is. He's not a DM at all IMO. Personally I'd even play Chalobah ahead of him there.
-
He really is, just exactly like that. Concentration is very poor, he's very slow and has done some questionable things. People don't really watch the Bundesliga so they don't see it often but he really is the same type of player Luiz is.
-
Owen Hargreaves recently said that United should stay well clear of him.
-
They have a lot of similarities, honestly. Don't understand how someone who absolutely detested Luiz would even want Hummels or is even calling him world class.
-
Don't understand why we're even playing Zouma in midfield or why people are willingly wanting him in there tbh, there's just no need.
-
How many times have you watched Hummels? He's well known for his defensive mistakes and concentration issues as well...
-
Exactly my point. We aren't the only team in the market for a CB.
