  1. Guess we can forget now about ever landing Frederico Chiesa

  3. Flashback to 2015.... Everton’s attacking midfielder Ross Barkley has surprisingly claimed his best position is actually playing up front as a striker, as per the BBC. https://www.squawka.com/en/news/evertons-ross-barkley-claims-his-best-position-is-up-front/342983

  5. Portuguese media says RB Leipzig, Lyon, Juve, and Roma are in the lead.
  6. Except Burnley have looked like stale cat piss so far. Good game for a turnaround!!! They also have a huge Europa League game tonight, they are in dire straights
  7. Willian over Pedro? It isnt that big a deal to me, all here know by know my feelings that we should have sold (or swapped for Martial) Willian and purchased one of (in order), but I do think Pedro is more of a Sarriball player. Leon Bailey Malcom (Barca paid only £37m ffs) Federico Chiesa Federico Bernardeschi Christian Pulisic Suso Wild card (due to cost, but could the best of all these, in long run, save MAYBE Bailey) Ousmane Dembélé, who I do not think Barca will now sell, due to his vastly improved play so far. That fact leaves Malcom stranded with vastly reduced playing time, btw.
  8. In another post I said a cup tie for a half with CHO as a false nine or even at striker. Ampadu could handle a league game. I completely disagree with you on that. You lost the argument when you went with the old 'people like you' ad hominen. You know nothing about me that warrants that verbiage.
  9. Try him at striker or a false 9, he has played it before. I would test it in an early cup tie, maybe in the second half with a big lead. Try it for a half or so, if it doesn't work, at least we know. I think Sarri has a gambler streak in him (he smokes like a chimney, thats rolling dice for sure, lol)
  10. Can they please misplace Martial in West London?
  11. potential leg breaker ffs, with clear intent 5 games at least for violent conduct (red card goes without saying)
  12. Fuck Lee Mason Tis a right old cunt Craig Dawson’s goon-up on Zappacosta last season v the Raggies didn't even warrant a fucking free kick to him.
  13. Fulham maybe, they only have 2 good CMF's, Seri and Cairney, and Cairney is injured. Stefan Johansen is blääääää
  14. Another perennial Chelsea loanee who has about as much chance of playing for them as my cat, and I don’t even have a cat, Jose Mourinho’s second to last Chelsea signing was Michael Hector. I still would like to see Baba get a swing at Sarriball, he seems to be in that mould. Plus he is used to wearing blue.
  15. Everything I have seen from Ampadu tells me he is ready to go now, this year, at top flight football. I would have very little worries if he was starting an EPL game or a Euro league games for us. He has FAR more in concentration level than Luiz, the CB disaster waiting to happen. A TRUE shame CHO is not a natural RW as I do not rate Willian unless we are talking up his value in that goddamn failed swap for Martial or the stupid move to not accept £65m from Barca for him, and then buy Malcom (who only cost Barca £37m) or went truly big and snatched up Bailey) nor can Pedro go for 50 games at his age. CHO could surely grab more minutes that way (as a RW). I would even try to run him as false nine or a straight up striker, as he has often played there in lower comps.
  16. Fiorentina prodigy Nikola Milenkovic can't avoid Nemanja Vidic comparisons http://www.espn.co.uk/football/club/fiorentina/109/blog/post/3616051/fiorentina-prodigy-nikola-milenkovic-cant-avoid-nemanja-vidic-comparisons The new Serie A season had only just started, but one of its greatest goals has already been scored. On Sunday, centre-back Nikola Milenkovic sent an unstoppable long-range effort into the top corner to open the scoring as Fiorentina thrashed Chievo 6-1 -- his first ever goal from outside the area. For many defenders that would have been a career highlight, but for the 20-year-old Serbia international it is likely to be a mere footnote in the tale of his meteoric rise to greatness. A couple of years ago, Milenkovic used to take several buses each day in order to train with the Partizan Belgrade reserves. Now, he is a star in Serie A and coming off a superb World Cup from a personal point of view. Atletico Madrid and Juventus are reported to be interested in signing him and not for nothing is Milenkovic compared to former Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic, one of Serbia's best central defenders of all time. Such a parallel was first made by Ivan Tomic, who was promoted to Partizan coach in December 2015 and immediately told the club to give Milenkovic a professional contract. The lanky centre-back wasn't considered a top prospect with the Partizan reserves until then, but Tomic -- a former Roma and Alaves midfielder who also used to serve as the club's sporting director -- has a good eye for young players. "Milenkovic has [the] physical characteristics of a beast. He reads the game well, plays the ball, and should have a great career ahead of him," Tomic has said of Milenkovic, privately predicting his protege would soon be worth at least €30 million. snip I mentioned him in the post below (I screenshotted the part), He is huge (legit 1.95m) The 2nd pic is him defending against Bryan Cristante (then of Atalanta, now at Roma on loan, and a damn good young Italian MF too, btw, miles better than Vecino) Cristante is 1.86m (3cm taller than me) to give you an idea snapshot from that post:
  17. Sarri is not a fan of rotation unless he has to. Sarri obviously highly rates some players who most of us think are absolute dross. Willian and Luiz and Morata (less so on the Sarri positive rate level for Morata,, but its not like we have a great plan B at striker) at the top of that list. He also doesn't seem to rate some, such as (gggrrrrr) AC (wtf, there is ZERO chance Luiz is a better CB than AC is now, ZERO, on this one thing I will not back down from), Emerson (Alonso has played great, so I am not exactly pissed off), CHO, Ampadu Bats (which i cannot wrap my head around, but many here don't like him) Zappacosta, and then the correctly not rated (and should have been sold) Drinkwater, RLC (should be on loan), Moses, Cahill; Fabregas, Musonda (what a disappointment he has been) and Abraham (ditto, hugely underwhelming).
  18. RLC should have followed Baba on loan to Schalke 04. He could be starting for a Champions League team with INSANE and huge fanbase (Revierderby with Borussia Dortmund is one of the most intense in world), in a great league, and with a superb developmental reputation. Domenico Tedesco is an amazing young manager. The have had huge player turnover too this year, so RLC would have had a great chance for playing time as a starter. Thilo should have been OURS!! Marina pissing around with the goddamn Italians over Rugani, who Juve were never going to sell. Not having either of those ranks for me up there (as LUIZ IS SHIT) with no Bailey or Malcom and not selling/swapping Willian for Martial (or buying him outright)
  19. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK, I missed that! The best, even remotely available for Jan (or far more likely next summer) options left are (in order) Sergi Roberto but would take insane money or maybe a reduced Willian swap involved Elseid Hysaj (he really wants to come here, and I think would fight dwarf-cunt De L on it) Nélson Semedo (If a fail on Sergi) Djibril Sidibé (now that they have Heinrichs they have FIVE RB's!!) Davide Calabria or Andrea Conti (not exactly thrilling me, on either, wish Calabria was as tall as Conti) Wild card, Jeremy Toljan, who has crashed out at Borussia Dortmund, for many reasons, but COULD maybe flourish in Sarriball finally the Pavard option, which I would love to get him in, primarily as a CB, but would be a great RB sub too Funny fact, Azpi, then 33 yo Valencia from Manure, and maybe 35 yo Alves from PSG (mayyybe Juanfran, 33 from AM, but his days are numbered) are the ONLY over 28 years old RB's in the world who are remotely good still. Talk about an age gap, wow
  20. maybe, and for sure there are better options out there, hopefully he comes good at Torino
