I hope we smash those geordie twats by 5 or 6.Those fuckers need to be relegated simply on the principle that Mike Ashley is the biggest cunt of an owner in England. He is a disgrace to football. The FA should intervene.

Our away kit is the dog's bollocks (blue socks make the difference), the home strip is oki (barely) but this 3rd kit looks like shit. I think it is time to have high end designers start doing football kits. Off-White (Virgil Abloh) already did a collab with PSG/Mbappe and Jordan brand will do their unis next year

Maurizio Sarri provides considerable update on experienced Chelsea player
Vesper replied to James's topic in Chelsea Articles
If Cahill has a future here, we are in deep, deep trouble. He is simply not capable of being a decent CB anymore. It is delusional to think otherwise. The EPL is far too faced-paced for a player as slow as him. -
Hamsik reveals differences between Ancelotti and Sarri https://m.calciomercato.com/en/news/hamsik-reveals-differences-between-ancelotti-and-sarri-51229 Napoli skipper Marek Hamsik has pointed out at the differences between new manager Carlo Ancelotti and former partenopei boss Maurizio Sarri. In an interview that Hamsik recently gave to Corriere dello Sport, he was asked about both Ancelotti and Sarri and how Ancelotti is different from the new Chelsea boss. The Slovakian said: "We are all satisfied with Ancelotti, the coach made us understand, within a few weeks that he is a wonderful, open person who gives us lots of advice, is very nice and is working very well. Issa Diop had a HORRORSHOW in his EPL debut

Who? If Mo is sacked by Manure and ZZ comes in, he will not sell Martial, and I imagine Martial will not want to leave. If Mo isn't sacked, I still cannot see them selling Martial unless there is a massive blow-up (fingers crossed, BUT they will want to sell him to a non EPL team) Lazio will never sell Immobile mid season, if at all. I cannot see RB Leipzig selling Werner mid season, and he has stated now he wants to go to Bayern soon That leaves one true, under 30yo high quality option Andrea Belotti, who did just score a brace v. Cosenza (Serie B side) in the Coppa Italia 13 days ago. after those its either sign a ageing 30 plus year old (Lewa is by far best option, BUT ZERO chance Bayern sell him) or (repost from another reply of mine, with an update) 'glimmer of hope' young or younger (last 2 are 26) strikers, but holy fuck do they need to step up to the next level to be worthy (as of now, all these would be simply back-ups, and a huge step down from all above, with possible exception of Lautaro Martínez) Most of these clubs will not sell mid season Patrick Cutrone <<<<<<<<<<<< I will no longer count him as possible, Patrick Cutrone signs new AC Milan contract Read more at http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/patrick-cutrone-signs-new-ac-milan-contract-4244994#MsjQrHrdYr6PII8u.99 Lautaro Martínez (Inter will never never NEVER sell him in January) Jean-Kévin Augustin Santi Mina Patrik Schick Giovanni Simeone Davie Selke Mariano Díaz (21 goals, 7 assists for Lyon last year) Lucas Alario Willian José

Kingsley Coman out “several weeks” after suffering ankle injury in Bayern’s Bundesliga opener Another unfortunate, heart-breaking set back for Coman... https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2018/8/25/17780222/kingsley-coman-bayern-munich-ankle-injury-ligament-tear-hoffenheim-nico-shulz-bundesliga-opener After making such a vibrant start to the match for Bayern Munich against Hoffenheim, Kingsley Coman was forced to come off just before the stroke of halftime after sustaining an ankle injury. The injury occurred when Hoffenheim’s Nico Schulz went in on a rather nasty challenge when Coman had the beating of him down the right channel. To be fair, the conditions of the pitch after a fair amount of steady rainfall probably didn’t do either player any favors, but the challenge from Schulz was still rash, and brandished a yellow card - on closer look, it may have been Schulz’s trailing leg on the challenge that did the most damage to Coman’s left ankle. The foul came just a minute after a hard challenge on Franck Ribery from Pavel Kadeřábek that caused some verbal altercations between both sets of players and the referee. After the match, Bayern’s medical staff performed assessments on Coman and were able to conclude that the midfielder suffered a ruptured syndesmosis ligament just above the left ankle. Per the club website and official Twitter account, Coman’s ankle will require an operation and he will be on the sidelines for at least several weeks; perhaps even two months.

A couple years down the road he and CHO are going to terrorise the EPL.

Arsenal look a goddamn mess. Horrific in defence. 1 nil Hammers

Now hopefully the hammers at least draw with the goonas.

Walker is faster. Same team though, grrr

Levy is far too cheap a cunt to spend enough (in smart ways) to win trophies. Once Poch and Kane and Alli leave, Spuds will go back to their rightful midtable place. I still cannot believe they were the first EPL team in history to do ZERO transfers in a summer window. They have almost zero depth at multiple key positions. GK, Striker, LW, CMF (ageing Dembele, then only injured middling Winks and flop Sissoko is their entire CMF), and no real backup CB's of worth atm, if they play a back 3. One injury the any of those areas could be a catastrophe, especially Kane and Lloris and a CB.
-
They look worse than I gathered from the first leak (the pic with the girl). I will have to see them live, but not as thrilled as I once was. I thought the banding would me much more subtle.

He was a top 5 all time worst buy in our EPL history IMHO. Torres being probably number one. I am sure you have your candidates too. Counting wages and fees, insurance, upkeep, he could cost us £70m or so.
-
The offer is £300K pw, not 500K. Alexis makes £500k pw.
-
£6m a year to ride the bench. Great job if you can get it. SMDH

Of course, Wllian would fill a huge hole. I was willing to fill it for them IF we got Martial in return. Ideally, we should have sold Willian to Barca for £65m, then bought Malcom (he only ended up being £37m for Barca) and then dumped in another £45m or to the remaining £28m left over post Malcom and outright bought Martial. Sell Drinkwater (WTF!!!!) to cover some of the spend. We would have spent a net £15m to £20m or so and had Martial (22), Malcom (21), and unloaded deadweight Drinkwater. The team would so SO MUCH stronger than now. Our board is shit, sorry, but it is.

It's crazy how little power most managers now have into the players they get. It's madness how a monster club like Manure have allowed their team to have a horrific back 4, shit for AMF, and not one true RWer, yet expect to still win league and CL. Add in the infighting between Mo and players ans it's a disaster waiting to happen. Lindelöf was a huge Mo bust. Bailly has regressed a tonne. The owners/board blame Mo and think their CB's and fullbacks are CL-winning level. They arent remotely close. Alexis was an extraordinarily expensive mistake. His salary is ludicrously high. £500,000 per week! That makes the £300k we offer to Eden look paultry in comparison. Zero clue why Manure agreed to pay him that much. Horrific business sense. I detest Mourinho, but he is being undercut in many directions. He also is a cunt when it comes to man management. That will do him in at Manure.
-
Except Neymar is yet another LW. It's almost like RW doesn't even matter (in terms of actually signing new people) to the clubs we all talk about, including us. Manure doesnt even have a single real RW on the team, yet Mo is obsessive over LW Perisic for multiple windows. RM with Eden and Neymar. Atm there is a deeper amount of class LWers than RWers in the big leagues. Around a plus 20.

If he refuses a new contract, we dont sell him, and he leaves on a free, whoever gets him only gets 4 months basically of a non 30yo Eden. His body has taken a pounding, moreso than perhaps any other major star in football over the last 8 years. I cannot see him playing at top level into his mid 30's. If Real wanted him they should have forked over the £200m on first day of the window, either this year or last summer. They will be far less hurt by never getting him than we will be if we have to sell him on the cheap or let him leave on a free in 22 months. Hopefully he just renews and says fuck it about Real. We NEED TO 100% MAKE THE CL for next year. It will be catastrophic to fail in that. Hazard will leave for sure and many of our players are ageing rapidly. Azpi turns 30 next summer, Luiz 32 in spring, Fabregas 32, Willian 31, Pedro 32, Cahill 33 in December, Giroud 32 in a month.

There are so few options left for us at striker. Icardi, but we blew it by not hitting his £98m 2 weeks in July 2018 release clause (it goes up each year) Martial, another cockup with the failed Willian plus cash swap Ciro Immobile, who turns 30 in February 2020 (so long term contract issue), and if Lazio loses SMS next summer, zero chance they also let Ciro go in same window Then 2 speculative ones Timo Werner Andrea Belotti Both of whom have yet to show they are the long term real deals. If Werner shows huge this year, Bayern will grab him. That's it. All others will not be sold to us unless we bid INSANE money (and probably not even then, especially if we again have no CL) or are 30yo or older (Lewa, Higs, Cavani, Suarez, etc). It's basically Morata or bust, with Martial (put back to his original number 9 position) or a rebounded Belotti as only realistic alternatives. After that is basically rent an ageing star time. Plus we have all the other (or most) top 10 to 15 clubs to fight with. Wild card Lautaro Martínez 21yo Inter phenom. He looks spectacular so far. Inter might be willing to part with Icardi if he continues to progress. But I think Icardi 2019 RC will go up to £140m or so if he signs a new contract this year. Zero chance we spend that much, even if we have to sell Hazard next summer (the nightmare there is that we get raped Courtois-style with Eden, maybe only getting £90m or even less as he can leave on a free in 22 months). This season and next are also Hazard's last 2 full years before he too hits 30.
