Roberto Firmino scored 27 goals last year and had 17 assists. He is far beyond most strikers in the world in offensive output and talent atm. The only other strikers/secondary strikers I would rate over him atm are (in no order) Dybala, Mbappe, Kane, Greizmann, Icardi and maybe Lewandowski. As usual I leave out Ronaldo and Messi from debate.

I cannot move from page to page on threads, and when I go the last page (or any page) it shows as this, and I cannot get back into the thread at all.

Benzema had a 10 year run (ending in 2016/17) where he averaged almost 25 goals and around 12 assists per season, twice going over 30 goals. If we got that for 5 or 6 years out of Morata, I would THRILLED.

Shochu is more popular than sake on Japan itself. Its distilled, not fermented like sake. Yhe good stufd is single distilled, called honkaku shōchū. The other is multiple distilled and is more for a mix in cocktails.
-
It will come back, but not for years. Japanese makers started increasing the production of whisky again several years ago. We also are into Shochu. Prefer it over sake by far. Takara Towari Honkaku Soba is a really good one made from buckwheat. https://www.japancentre.com/en/products/13430-takara-towari-honkaku-soba-buckwheat-shochu Tenshi no Yuwaku Imo Shochu is a great Imo (sweet potato) one. Aged in sherry casks. https://www.mtcsake.com/shochu/tenshi-no-yuwaku-imo-shochu

Suntory stopped producing Hibiki 17 yo. I loved it. Truly superb. All Japanese whisky makers are running out of old stock due to demand. Prices have skyrocketed too. BTW NEVER buy from Dekanta. They are an outrageous rip-off. Cheers

Whisky recco. We are immense Japanese whisky fans. Our trip to Asia for 5 months (Osaka is da bomb!) locked this in even further. Unfortunately the rest of world has caught on on. Huge quality for the price. https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/28521/togouchi-whisky-18-year-old It's fucking jummi!!!

We should have offered to swap him for Angus Gunn (plus cash if needed)

With De Laurentiis? He thinks it is permanent. he is trying to write Chelsea bans into all new Napoli contracts. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2791506-chelsea-transfer-news-elseid-hysajs-agent-addresses-blues-rumours The agent of Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj has addressed the speculation a Chelsea move fell through for his client this summer and denied reports there will be an anti-Blues clause in his new contract. Speaking to SportItalia (h/t Calciomercato), the representative, Mario Giuffredi, said he did not agree with such clauses: "Napoli disappointment? No, Napoli did what they had to do, keeping all the big names. Not doing much does not mean having a big market, sometimes the best market is to confirm your valuable pieces if you believe in your team. If then the best market for you is to change the whole team, I do not share it. "Ban on Chelsea in the clauses? I do not agree with it, I also told De Laurentiis the same. If there are clauses in the contracts they must be able to be exercised. In the coming weeks we will address the Hysaj talk for renewal, we had talked about it before the market. Then there was a talk with Chelsea and we stopped."

I don't understand how they let it slide this far. From age of 5 or so up until Fergie retired I have known nothing but Man U as the imperial Death Star.

I think Jorginho is the biggest regret Pep has ever had on a transfer fail. I rate him that high. Thank dog City didnt grab him or they would be untouchable, now that Laporte has solved their CB issues (as I predicted). With Jorginho, they would have been a Septuple threat, even with De Bruyne out for a few months. Still may be. I think DMF zero depth may come back to biye them. Watch January window for them to rectify. Shocked they didnt make a move for Leandro Paredes. Also watch Jean-Philippe Gbamin (massive upside, I think might be a superstar), Julian Weigl, Santiago Ascacíbar (same as Gbamin), Rúben Neves, Danilo Pereira, Denis Zakaria, Nabil Bentaleb, and Diadie Samassékou.

Its so funny they always are dealing with one of the very few great players they have (Pogba, and I know millions hate him, but I have always rated him, I know this makes me in a vast minority here) when they have HUGE HUGE HUGE issues with their back 4, who are RUBBISH. As a fellow Swede, it pains me to say Lindelöf is shit, but shite he is. Bailly is a massive disappointment, and they have fuckall in WC talent at the fullbacks as well. Diogo Dalot may be there someday, but he only turned 19 five months back. Their AMF's are shit (Mata!! LOLOL) and they have zero true RWers. The club is a fucking mess, and Mo is also a boil that needs to be lanced.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1006987/Real-Madrid-Transfer-News-Live-Updates-WIllian-Cristiano-Ronaldo-Chelsea-Gossip-Latest Marcos Alonso price set Real Madrid can sign Chelsea star Marcos Alonso if they meet the Blues’ £54million asking price, reports claim. Real Madrid know signing Alonso will be difficult given Chelsea are unable to sign a replacement until January at the earliest. However, the Blues are willing to do business if Real cough up £54million, Spanish newspaper AS say. AS say Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is willing to sell Alonso. However, in doing so, it would risk a row with Sarri. The new Chelsea coach reportedly feels Alonso is one of the most important players currently at his disposal.

He also is a direct replacement for Hazard at LW. I tend to agree. The main problem with my scenario is Verane. RM will never sell or swap him until he is over 30yo. Maybe if Mbappe was involved.
-
If you had 2 options next year from Real (this assumes a lot, in that Hazard needs to refuse to renew, and that Real would do this swap, which they wont, lol) would you take 1 Verane and Isco for Hazard 2 Verane and Asensio for Hazard I would do either and toss in Luiz or Fabregas plus cash too (if needed) for makeweight Hell, make it 2 for 2 and add Wilian plus Hazard for Verane plus either Isco or Asensio I will leave Kovacic out, and make that a straight buy

He is a fool to not go on loan to Schalke. He would start most games (they lost Goreztka to Bayern and Max Meyer to Palace, both on frees) and have Champions League footie. This is their CMF and AMF, only Harit is top quality atm, new boy Serdar may be soon, McKennie even further down the road, but it is HARDLY the level of comp for time he has here

'We want to give Balotelli a leadership role' - Nice president backs Italy ace http://www.goal.com/en/news/we-want-to-give-balotelli-a-leadership-role-nice-president-backs-/680w2g91mzgb1m2w1i8dq4p3j President of the Cote d'Azur side Jean-Pierre Rivere has insisted that Italy international has done nothing wrong this summer Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere refuted the suggestion that Mario Balotelli only stayed at the club because he failed to secure a move to Marseille and has said he will be given a more pre-eminent role in the team. Balotelli was expected to leave Nice following the club's failure to qualify for European football last season, which Rivere explained prompted a reduction in the Italy striker's salary. Rivere revealed that the 28-year-old received a "very, very large financial offer" from a club in the Chinese Super League and entered discussions with a number of French clubs, including Marseille, but opted to remain at Allianz Riviera for a third season. The Nice chief insisted claims that Balotelli remained at the club by default are "totally wrong", telling their official website: "He made this choice despite the absence of Europe and in less advantageous salary conditions than elsewhere. "He has shown us his desire to stay and his dedication to the club. From now on it is registered, contractualised. We want to give him a leadership role. The coach will have him with him and make every effort to make the best season possible. "We are very happy with this situation, we have a player totally invested in our project." Rivere also moved to quell speculation that Balotelli, who has served two games of a three-match suspension so far this season, disrespected the club by failing to report for training. "It bothers me a lot that one might think that Mario did something wrong, because it's not true," he added.

If he came on a free, why not? He is far more mature now that 5 years back, and certainly is better goal scorer than any striker we have, unless Morata finally comes good. But, as stated by others, he signed another 1 year deal with Nice, so no go.
