I was not being binary, I specifically said he was shit for Sarriball. Willian may well have worked out forManure or Barca, who knows. He is not a good fit here, and has been toxic in the past. The age comparative section was to point out there is a healthy chance that Willian soon drops off a cliff performance wise. The signs are already there. Absolutely not being binary. If you read my myriad number of evaluation posts on players and tactics and overall strategy, you will see I am one of the least binary thinkers on the board. I am ALL about contextual SWOT analysis, on here, and in my real life personal relationships, as well as my career. Also, complete straw-man on the 'start CHO when we play Shitty' misrepresentation. I NEVER said such a thing. Obviously he isn't going to play in every game. and THIS: is complete dross, simply madness he is more than intelligent enough to begin to fill out any weak areas of his game with proper minutes you act like every bloody game we play IS against a Shitty level team BOLLOCKS

Willian is the antithesis of what is needed in a Sarriball winger. He slows down the entire system. He is a ball hog, lacks a creative football brain, and as he ages, has lost his scoring ability to a scary degree. Before you say he is only 30 (31 next summer), might I remind you that Alexandre Pato, a few months back was 28. LOLOL Robinho, who has been around since jeebus was a little boy, and has been utter shit for 7 or so YEARS is only 34 Rooney shit out the minute he hit 30. The difference between a 28yo Alexis and a 30yo Alexis is literally insane. Cesc, who most say is a spent force (leg wise) is only 31. We were beyond numpty twats to not take £65m and RUN for Willian last summer. Most of us (damn near all?) called it 6 months ago. If Eden leaves (100% lock if no CL), and then (or now) CHO STILL leaves, Willian (and Sarri) will be partial architects in the semi-destruction on a couple year (hopefully only that long) basis of the club, due to on-field shitbaggery (limp-todger anaemic offence) and personnel (ie. CHO not getting but a whiff of playing time and Willian trotted out like clockwork) shitbaggery. Dont forget the cascading effect this will have on our academy and young players. Look at Shitty, Sancho is causing many to want to leave there already. Brahim Diaz is now pulling the same shit.

Thank god he didnt end up at Juve. That was my nightmare. He could go insane damage there as a 60th minute sub. Same for PSG. That passing to those offensive players both have, late in games. Eeeeek.

Totally agree. Sarri is asking for a super rare player for the 3rd MF role. Scorer, creavtive, AND hardnose defender If our board was not shit, we would have had such a player for last 3,4 years already Nainggolan along with Alex Sandro and Koulibaly, the 3 biggest board-cocked-up buy attempts of the last 4 years so much fail another who was perfect, now too old Arturo Vidal Barella is a badass player, would be THRILLED to get him Here are some other MFers who could slot in there (I rate all of these above Kovacic btw, for this role, and most overall just as players) some are impossible Saúl Ñíguez Frenkie de Jong Tanguy Ndombele Corentin Tolisso (another Marina massive fail btw) Houssem Aouar (super creative, but the weakest defensively on this list (and is really good, deffo NOT a slacker), still a superb superb player, in fact as CMF/AMF, in certain systemic roles, he maybe be the best on here except for Saul and de Jong) Leon Goretzka (ANOTHER board fail!) Koke Donny van de Beek maybe Piotr Zielinski Bryan Cristante Marco Verratti (tbh, more of the new Kante role, he doesnt hardly ever score)

shame the only time he is limp is on the pitch

but in the meantime Chelsea must go in search of a tip of thickness at least to lock the champions area sounds like going cruising in a leather boy bar

Ajax sign Boca Juniors defender as ‘De Ligt replacement’ Lisandro Magallán is said to be the one who will take De Ligt’s place next summer https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2019/1/2/18165862/ajax-sign-boca-juniors-defender-as-de-ligt-replacement Ajax have already made their move for what many consider to be the eventual replacement for the expected departure of Matthijs De Ligt. The Amsterdam club have announced the capture of Lisandro Magallán from Boca Juniors, with the departure of their captain, De Ligt, in next summer’s transfer window practically assured. It is expected that De Ligt will remain with the team for the time being despite the signing of the 25-year-old Argentine. Magallán is 25 and was a starter for the Boca side that reached the Copa Libertadores final, which was lost to River Plate at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The defender cost Ajax 9 million euro and signed until 2023. Barcelona are one of many European giants said to be chasing De Ligt. In a related matter, reports have said that the Catalans are close to securing the services of his teammate at club and international level, Frenkie De Jong. But it remains to be seen whether Barça can land both De Jong and De Ligt, who are both hot commodities at the moment among the European elite, and sure to fetch a very large transfer fee and salary next summer. snip

Nottingham Forest facing homophobic chant probe after cries of 'Chelsea rent boys' heard at Stamford Bridge https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-6561131/Nottingham-Forest-face-investigation-Chelsea-rent-boys-chant.html Nottingham Forest fans are under investigation after complaints of chanting considered to be homophobic during their defeat at Chelsea. Forest fans taunted their hosts with loud cries of 'Chelsea rent boys' during the first half and at the end of the FA Cup third round tie. One Chelsea supporter was fined nearly £1,000 and banned from football for three years for aiming homophobic abuse to a Brighton fan during a game last month. A spokesman for anti-discrimination campaign group Kick It Out said: 'We have received reports of alleged homophobic chanting by Nottingham Forest supporters at Chelsea during today's FA Cup fixture. 'We have passed those onto the FA and offered our support in any possible investigation.' Nottingham Forest are aware of the complaints.

Chelsea's buy-back clause for Thorgan Hazard explained as Liverpool & Spurs eye Bundesliga star https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/thorgan-hazard-chelsea-transfer-clause-15432901 We may well be hearing a lot more about Thorgan Hazard in the coming weeks with Liverpool reportedly set to launch a bid for the Borussia Monchengladbach ace. According to reports, Jurgen Klopp wants to lure the player to Anfield next month and the league leaders are plotting a £31million move. Linked with a move to Spurs as well, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Roma are also believed to be keen on securing the 25-year-old's signature. Looking destined to leave his current club sooner rather than later going on his current form, Chelsea fans will no doubt want the Blues to re-sign him following his 2015 exit. snip With the player even unsure if Chelsea have a clause to re-sign him, German publication Bild have now stated that Maurizio Sarri's side can indeed buy him back. They claim that the FA Cup holders have a clause but it is only valid for the 2019 summer transfer window.

Willian is the most overrated winger on the planet. Alexis is basically benched, so you cant claim him. Alonso is the most overrated fullback on the planet. Really have to seriously question Sarri's talent judging on both, especially his asinine statement on Alonso being 'close to best fullback in Europe.' combined with him trotting Willian out almost every single game. Not only do they hurt the team on the pitch, they are hurting us personnel-wise, especially Willian, who is on verge of being a huge component in the clusterfuck of us losing a potential academy-developed superstar.. Sell these frauds. Every single reason their defenders give for keeping and starting them is bullshit. 100% pure rot.
