Mexico is a huge market for footie, they are insane about it 130 million plus people if 5% of the populace bout 100 quid worth of official Lozano CFC gear that's £65m gross The top 15% of the country (so around 20 million people) earns over 50,000 USD per year and even the poor (well over half the pop) will, just like in South American countries, will buy sports gear
-
and another huge revenue maker (by far best Mexican footie player) so self funds to a point If we got him, and had also bought Alphonso Davies (Bayern bagged him, and he is sorta a CHO clone, same age, style of play, position) we would have the best players from USA Canada Mexico lololol North America on lockdown toss in Leon Bailey (on major discount due to poor form) from Jamaica and its the grand slam all wingers too, bizarrely
-
They were just crying about no money too, and in trouble with FFP. I SO hope this doesn't mean we are flat out buying Higuain 6 month loan is fine

JUVENTUS COOL THEIR INTEREST IN CHELSEA TARGET TONALI https://readchelsea.com/2019/01/04/juventus-cool-their-interest-in-chelsea-target-tonali/ Chelsea’s hopes of landing Italian youngster Sandro Tonali have been boosted with the news that Juventus are set to cool their interest. According to reports in Italy, Juventus have deemed Brescia’s asking price too high, despite the player’s obvious qualities and potential. Tonali is being heavily linked with big-money moves away from the Serie B side after establishing himself as one of Italy’s most promising talents. snip Inter want him AND Nicolò Barella Inter Legend Beccalossi: “I Would Sign Both Tonali & Barella” https://sempreinter.com/2019/01/04/inter-legend-beccalossi-i-would-sign-both-tonali-barella/ Inter Keen On Tonali, Barella and Pellegrini https://sempreinter.com/2018/11/22/inter-tonali-barella-and-pellegrini/ Inter and Juventus going after Italian talents such as Tonali, Chiesa and Barella https://www.fedenerazzurra.net/news/2018/12/1/inter-and-juventus-going-after-italian-talents-such-as-tonali-chiesa-and-barella Maurizio Sarri orders Chelsea scouts to watch Italy starlet Sandro Tonali https://metro.co.uk/2018/10/13/maurizio-sarri-orders-chelsea-scouts-to-watch-italy-starlet-sandro-tonali-8035433/ Maurizio Sarri urges Chelsea to sign Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella https://metro.co.uk/2018/12/12/maurizio-sarri-urges-chelsea-sign-cagliari-midfielder-nicolo-barella-8236696/

Reiss Nelson too.

3 great young Serie A CB's we should be looking at. All three are 1.90m,, and all are great on the ball. The first two are ready to rock, get em before they are jacked up to £45m. Andersen is like a much stronger AC. Joachim Andersen Sampdoria Gianluca Mancini Atalanta Alessandro Bastoni Parma (on loan from Inter)
-
Aubameyang turns 30yo in 5 months, so a no go due to our contractual policy.
-
Well a wee bit goes to my wife's amateur team she sometimes plays on. Shoot me!!
-
Off the ball, without the ball (didn't say with the ball, although in the box with the ball he is a genius), he puts himself into great positions to score. He gets quiet at times because Inter service has not been consistently great, they have lacked a creative genius MFer for a while, but poor service also from their fullbacks, especially in 2016/17. They had João Cancelo last year, who was great, but they have once again had weak LB play, and this years RB, Sime Vrsaljko (as Cancelo left for Juve), has been injured a lot. Inter are my favourite Italian team, actually my favourite non-Chels team period, have been for ages, so it isnt like I am heartbroken if he stays there, but obviously would prefer him here, as Chelsea has 99.99% of my footballing heart. Werner would also be wonderful, do not get me wrong on that
-
They do get Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back from that horrid injury, but no way to know if he will hit the form he was at (best of career) before he was hurt. I think they are looking at Adrien Rabiot (in talks now with PSG) Nabil Fekir (maybe go back and try again, no idea if they do, seems a no brainer if his knees are sound, which I am sure is what scuppered the summer deal at the last moment) Houssem Aouar (Klopp tried to sign him in 2016, maybe they go back for him again). He is a player we should REALLY be looking at too, along with............ Nicolò Barella ( I SO want him over Kovacic, we are crazy to not go after him) and the third one we should also be looking at hard Pablo Sarabia (AMF tracng to 30 goals and 16 assists for Sevilla) other options I have seen linked over the past year Arne Maier (Klopp is a big fan, he is a another potential young German superstar) Hakim Ziyech AMF Ajax Sander Berge DMF K.R.C. Genk Brais Méndez AMF Celta de Vigo Donny van de Beek CMF Ajax Florian Neuhaus CMF Borussia Mönchengladbach Maximilian Eggestein CMF Werder Bremen Denis Zakaria DMF Borussia Mönchengladbach Jean-Philippe Gbamin DMF Metz giant names they may be thinking of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (he has had a bad year so far, so price will come down, dont think he is a good fit with Klopp) Kai Havertz (would be perfect, but Bayern REALLY want him, its 90% certain they get him) Tanguy Ndombélé (scary thought of him on that team, I think Spurs end up getting him, as they spent ZERO in the summer) I think they will look for a backup LW, another great CB (Loveren and Matip are not up to their level) and fullback depth as well (they just bizarrely loaned out Clyne)

Bindipper situational ethics. Usually ends with your hubcaps missing and pawned for some plazzy clobber

LOL at Icardi being 'quite slow' and 'more of a poacher' You obviously have not watched him for 5 plus years like I have, if you make silly statements like this. He is a ruthless finisher and is superb without the ball. His shooting is better than Werner's, there is no comparison. Werner may indeed be a wee bit faster, but Werner is also in the top 5 in world in terms of pace for CF's and his shooting is erratic at times. Do not get me wrong, IF we cannot get Mauro, I would be over the moon with Werner, and I also love Jovic's potential. Any one of the 3 ticks my boxes in terms of a striker for us, but Icardi is the class of lot. Only pure striker above him in the world, IMHO, is Kane. Werner is top 10, and Jovic is already in top 15 or 20, and will rise. Piatek and Haller are the other 2 who would round out my top 5 targets for us. Shame we never really tried the Willian plus £20m or so for Martial swap when Mourinho was still there Then again, I think only a few of us on this board were the huge boosters of Martial as our CF, it never seemed to grab traction and I doubt the board saw him as a CF (would love to be proved wrong, but then again, that would make me even more enraged, lol) In terms of older ones (stopgaps) here are the only 30-somethings I truly rate Luis Suárez (ZERO chance at getting him) Cavani (best of the older ones, he is a freak on nature physically like CR7, Alves (was, I think he is spent now), and Fernandinho, still absolute WC at over 30yo, I figure he has 2 maybe 3 good years left in him) Lewandowski (Bayern will want crazy money for a player who turns 31 this summer) Sergio Agüero (obviously a no go) Costa (grrrrrrr) Modeste (wild card) Edin Dzeko (maybe, he looks to be really slowing down, oly 2 league goals so far and is soon 33yo) Higuain is a huge dice roll, I think he would be a desperation singing, but we are desperate, lololol

Chelsea transfer news: Journalist claims ‘agreement’ is DONE as player demands move CHELSEA starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi already has an agreement in place with Bayern Munich and is demanding a January move. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/751293/Chelsea-transfer-news-Callum-Hudson-Odoi-Bayern-Munich That’s according to German journalist Raphael Honigstein. The Bundesliga champions have identified the 18-year-old as one of their primary targets this month and have offered him a way out of Stamford Bridge. Bayern have reportedly already seen bids of £15m and £20m rejected by the Blues, with Hudson-Odoi having less than 18 months remaining on his current contract. Chelsea are reluctant to let him leave but the fact Bayern are refusing to back down in their pursuit suggests Hudson-Odoi has already made his mind up, says Honigstein. “Chelsea will be hoping they will change his mind by turning these bids down now. Unless he gets more game-time, he’s pretty adamant he’s moving,” Honigstein told the Transfer Talk podcast. “The fact Bayern are making these bids should be taking as a strong sign that the player wants to do this move. “Bayern would not come back with a second bid if they didn’t feel they already had the agreement with the player to make this happen. “He definitely wants to go - that much we can say for certain. snip
