yes, from Benfica they exercise it and sell to us they will only pay around £10m, so will make a huge profit in the summer we could even get him now, if Benfica agree to loan to us, and we compensate Frankfurt

We desperately need a DoF I suggest

will never happen for only 35m euros, zero chance

Love him, GK (other than back-up if Bulka doesn't work out) is sorted for years

Fair points, but I am all for buying Italian leaguers from the smaller teams before they blow up to mega level stars on the trad giants Like Barella, who is now at Cagliari I was all over Nainggolan whilst he was at the exact same club. Sandro Tonali at Serie B Brescia Dybala at Palermo Icardi at Sampdoria Bryan Cristante when at Atalanta Antonio Candreva when we could have gotten him on a free in 2013 from Udinese Rolando Mandragora at Udinese now Alessio Romagnoli when he was on loan at Sampdoria from Roma, and then AC Milan got him for on around £21m my 3 young CB's right here

You misread I think it is REAL not just a web rumour

One of our biggest multiyear board fails ever. Was begging for him since summer 2014. If we had gotten Conte him, Romagnoli and Alex Sandro, we might have won the CL in that title year. Naingollan was insanely good with Roma, His 2016/17 season was on verge of all world level. almost the perfect example of brutal attacking MF with combined with viscous defensive instincts, great athleticism, and a pitbull temperment .

Shit, we can WAY outmatch them in a swap plus cash deal! We have sooo many players to offload. Gabigol is shite, but Alessandro Bastoni will turn their heads, even though he is only 19. He and Gianluca Mancini (I just wrote about both yesterday) are by FAR the only 2 potentially great under 23to Italian CB's atm. That said surely we can outgun Inter. Barella is real deal level superb young MF. Will be heartbroken if we fuck this up and looking for rope aad chair if we also miss out on Sandro Tonali (Juve and Inter again, grrrrrrr). I feel the old Italian salami in the arse coming on. SOB

My wife is freaking out on him leaving, last time she was close to this pissed (more pissed at these following though) was Costa, Salah, and the big one, De Bruyne She thinks his passing being taken away as lock picking late gamer mode is going to fuck us bad All year long she has said to play Cesc as a 60th minute sub for Kovacic, NOT Jorginho (she thinks Kovacic or Ampadu should have been Jorgi's b/u) and when Cesc comes in, pull the CF, go to false 9 and bring in CHO at LW,, with Eden going to the middle and Pedro or RLC as RW. I said Barkley at RW instead of RLC, I said RLC could go to CF (which still has not been tried btw) and CHO could also go sometimes to RW over Barley or to LW if Hzard went middle, lol, its complicated) she was saying this since first week of EPL, way before Sarri actually went to false 9

Laporte is obviously impossible, unfortunately AND there is the age time bomb with Koulibaly, as he he only would have (if he came this summer) only 2 sub 30yo seasons left (he turns 28 in June). The 30yo and over no multiyear contract rule is by far the smartest thing we do (I know this will enrage many here) as for every exception to the hard and fast rule, we would quickly be stuck with an even older team than he have now, due to the odds of performance plummeting simply catching up. Father time is a bitch In a semi-realistic fantasy world (as I will place 2 dream buys in here) our backs would be centre backs de Ligt (dream buy 1) Rudiger Ampadu (who I think may end up in MF IF we miss out on Sandro Tonali) and two out of these 3 Akanji (who I just saw, and THIS is devastating for Dortmund's Bundesliga and CL chances, just suffered a season ending groin injury) and/or Issa Diop and/or Éder Militão fullbacks LB Lucas Hernandez (dream buy 2, and who could slot in to CB if Ampadu is forced to go to MF) if he isnt there, then Alex Telles or Ben Chilwell LB Júnior Firpo (backup winger as well) RB Achraf Hakimi, if he isnt there, then João Cancelo RB Reece James (if he comes good, otherwise Valentino Lazaro who is a back up winger/AMF as well) that is a potential Treble winning backfield every single one listed is an unreal athlete as well, most all have pace to burn and rotation is simple as they all are superb, just roll the dice and see who comes up, lololol make sure all get a lot of time, and then decide who is the best for the biggest games (plus injuries will happen, unfortunately)

Imagine them both! Instant best CB tandem on planet. Scary thought. Only competition would be Barca when they get Umtiti back and if they add de Ligt, or Liverpool if Gomez continues his supersonic rise to go with Van Dijk or if Real scuppers Bayern over Lucas Hernández (only a £72m release clause btw and is worth it as he is also a top 3 LB) to pair with Varane. Lol I just listed the top CBs in the world except for Laporte, Marquinhos, Jose Giminez, and Dayot Upamecano. As you know I dont rate Stones in top 15. Would put Süle, Manuel Akanji (who we should be seriously looking at, as we obviously can do business with Dortmund, he is potentially a top 5, 7 CB talent as well, probably the smoothest ball player on this list, he glides over the pitch), Alession Romagnoli, and maybe, maybe (he is best EPL newcomer back this year by miles IMHO, West Ham got a STEAL) Issa Diop in front of him. Surely Diop will pass Stones in a year or two or three IF he keeps rising the same trajectory as this year. He is another one we should be seriously looking at, along with the already massively linked Éder Militão. We are living in an upcoming golden age of centre backs.

If we don't qualify for the CL, they will deffo come, and with a really lowball number. £80 to £100m. If we do qualify, they may just wait and take him on a free or for £50, 60m in January 2020, if they think they truly need him for 2nd half of next season. We are well and truly fucked if he doesn't renew. Last summer was sort n' sell time.
-
The highest Real went was £175m. Granny said 215 or 220, some boated up number. I was hoping for £190-95m, as I knew they would not pay over the £199m that Neymar cost. At £190-195m, 5 or 10m more is piss pocket money to blow out a deal over in which RM would have only 2 full seasons of under 30yo play out of Hazard. If we do not make the CL it was a £100m or so mistake if he doesn't renew. No player is worth £100m plus salary for one season. Especially for a team in our shape. It wasn't like we were guaranteed EPL title locks and going for a record breaking 6th consecutive CL/Euro Cup trophy (Real won 5 in a row with Alfredo Di Stefano from 1956 to 1960.)

Yes, in part, his rotational schedule has been far less than stellar IMHO (Eden is burnt out, as is Azpi, Jorginho, and Alonso (harder to tell as he is as slow as my gran at times) injuries (some perhaps caused from fatigue and body breakdown) are piling up, and we have massive player discontent that is already manifesting itself in concrete, sometimes destructive ways. He also needs to be given the right players in a systemic sense (that is, I admit, going beyond the scope of the looming CHO catastrophe) as well.
