Inter Looking At Modric, Milinkovic-Savic, Kroos & Kovacic For The Summer https://sempreinter.com/2019/01/08/inter-looking-at-modric-milinkovic-savic-kroos-kovacic-for-the-summer/ This is great, hopefully they back off Barella and Tonali 'and If we send Kovacic back to RM, would love to see him go to Inter, as I really like him, he was great there before, and I like Inter
-
I hope so!
-
you have nailed it which is why Tonali would be better (and far cheaper) than Paredes IMHO, plus higher upside and less demands for instant pitch time
-
It makes sense positionally. A Naingollan-type (maybe not the shooting, but deffo better passing) in Barella, and an actual Backup/Rotation DH DMF in Paredes. I still would prefer Tonali as he is younger and needs time to ease into Jorginho slots a bit and learn slowly, but Paredes is the finished article.
-
At least we are finally going after players I truly rate. Barella for sure, and Paredes is a true DH DMF. Barella is a more forward driving MF, but the nice thing is he has a real hard streak in him on defence. Its why I rate Tonali so high. He is like Jorginho or a poor man's (atm, give him time) Pirlo, crossed with Gatusso.

If we sign both that probably 99% guarantees 2 things Kovacic will not go perm..... Barella No Sandro Tonali...... Paredes

His buy price for Frankfurt is only around £10m. So if we waved £40-50m or so in their face they would be sorely tempted. What I fear is a bidding war, especially if be finishes with 30 or more goals in aĺl comps.

Again, Jovic is soon a Frankfurt player due to purchase option. Icardi's release clause is still only £98m. That's a bargain in today's market. He may renew and Inter want to put it at £200 or so. Werner's contract expires im summer 2020. Bayern will try to make a covert deal to have him run down contract and leave on a free to them. It is their usual tricksy way.

And Barella turns 22 on February 7, he is only 2 and a half years younger than Paredes, not 4 like the article states. He isnt some 16, 17 year old kid. This is his 3rd year as a starter in top flight football. IF Paredes was actually 4 years older than Nicolo, and we signed him to a 5 year deal, he would 31 at the end, and of much less resale value, in fact the exact same age and contract situ we just went through with Cesc. Critical thinking needed here.

http://sportwitness.co.uk/chelseas-post-fabregas-plans-revealed-granovskaia-preference-wants-signing-done-next-week/ Chelsea want Barella or Paredes to replace Fabregas Chelsea have reportedly identified two targets to replace the outgoing Cesc Fabregas, and Maurizio Sarri wants that replacement in the next week. The two midfielders in question are Caligari’s Nicolo Barella and Zenit’s Leandro Paredes, according to Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness. However, with no bids sent or terms agreed, this would be an ambitious push. Apparently, Marina Granovskaia is unwilling to match the €40m-50m price tag on Barella, and could instead spend that on Paredes because of his greater experience. Gianfranco Zola could apparently prove key to a deal given his time in charge at Cagliari in 2014/15, but president Tommaso Guilini would prefer to sell his midfielder in the summer unless someone does meet or exceed his price tag. If they decide to go for Barella, this would give the Serie A club the chance to find a replacement before the end of the transfer window, but the journalist behind the article doesn’t believe Chelsea and Marina Granovskaia are prepared to match the price tag (€40-50m) set by Tommaso Giulini, Cagliari’s president. The belief within Stamford Bridge is that Roman Abramovich’s right hand will only go as far as €35m for Barella, and would be far more prepared to splash €50m on Paredes instead due to the Argentine’s more ‘relevant CV’ (he’s four years older). snip ffsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss wtf! she will only drop £32m on a great player but will drop £35m on DRINKWATER and £40m on Bakayoko???? I sure hope this is rubbish

Mateo Kovacic’s superb highlights from this month https://www.chelsea-news.co/2019/01/video-mateo-kovacics-superb-highlights-month/ Mateo Kovacic has impressed since arriving at Chelsea, and his influence in midfield has been notable alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. His silky dribbling skills and the way he wears the 17 remind people of Eden Hazard, and that’s clear in this video showing his best efforts from the last month.'' There are some great moments in there, he just needs to start finding the net too to become a really complete midfielder. See those tasty highlights here:
-
Not a Benfica player for long, Frankfurt is going to activate option to buy. £40-50m is a fair price.
-
A good start is to buy Angus Gunn for backup GK Free Willy!!!!!!!!

You watching the Wolves v Victimpool game? He doesn't look too fallen to me, lol. I GUARANTEE he goes for a shit tonne more than £40m when he is sold. Book it, dead lock. He is one of the best long-distance shooting DMF's in football, a great passer, tenacious on defence.
-
I rate him much higher than Emerson, who has shown me not much at all since he has came. Chilwell and Ricardo Pereira have been tear teams apart as a fullback duo lately, including us. Plus he is homegrown. here are my thoughts on RB targets
-
They are far from only link to Zappacosta on the move. He has been unhappy for ages. I think we are mad to sell our only legit backup, unless there is some buy in the works, and I have seen nothing remotely concrete about such a move. Let's see how it shakes out. I have very little confidence in the board atm.
-
He is actually really good, Roma was forced to sell to comply with FFP, exact same situation as how we got Rudiger.
