I have no words if that is the case.. what a shit show!

Lets not forget that the progress he made was just the sort of form that we would have probably had all season if he had not almost maliciously abused the squad, playing players in ridiculous positions and doing 0 tactical/strategic training and just asking the lads to play with passion, as well as flogging the shit out of them in training and simultaneously failing to get anybody into any kind of fitness until the end of the season.
He was an improvement on Lampard but a downgrade on Potter.
What he was good at was being nice to the players, that is clear - they loved him. He was good at hosting BBQs. He was mostly not bad in front of the press, but he failed to establish any relationship with the fans.
How low are our standards if we're saying Poch was making real progress, it is sad what we have become.

Think he is gone considering the noises coming out on the usual socials, including Rio (not that I consider him a source of truth but he has a popular podcast etc.).
I personally think it is 50/50, Poch wants a say, perhaps more than a say ie. Keep Conor, Clearlake want someone who gives their opinion but doesn't give a firm 'no'. Considering how long it took Poch to make a change with Cucu, never seems to have a plan B, I struggle to see tactically how he sets up a team now, and future. Especially if someone came to him and said "Right we have Kendry and Este, how do we fit them in?" now a respectable manager may say "We don't, one or the other, whoever performs best" but it seems Clearlake want the stage for their stars.
I still want him gone, for the reasons I gave a few pages back, tactically I do not think he is up to it and I think the last 5-6 games masked a season of chance after chance to take advantage of dropped points elsewhere, chance after chance squandered. I genuinely dislike the amount that the last 5-6 games has changed the narrative of a season, the emotion is gone, lets be objective, in my opinion, not good enough.

My personal opinion for removing him:
- No plan B during games, he even said it himself the players have no plan except give it to Palmer
- Inconsistent message externally, especially relating to Spurs, I understand you don't want to burn bridges but you're at Chelsea, a huge club, not your tiny tinpot Spuds
- Misusing players in positions
- Subs bar 2 notable recent games have been lacklustre
I, personally, do not feel he is the guy to take us forward, he's a decent interim, but we are in such a dangerous time, if we don't kick on then we will be in dire straits.

Poch is as useless as Stirling…won’t make a change until it’s too late…in game management is non existent! Perhaps if we lose he goes too!!

I would hope we have someone younger in mind …no idea who though that’s above my pay grade!
I’m tired of the manager merry go round and the only thing that suffers or gets worse is my beloved Chelsea! I’ve been going since 1969 and this rinse repeat of the managers is getting tiresome. The powers that be need to take a long hard look at themselves and decide what and where there taking this. I’ll always support my team but they are making it harder every year!

nah the team is weaker in every area.
I personally think the defense is absolutely shit... The burly one looks slow and pedestrian on the ball; the other is a very old player who's main virtue of playing from the back is long gone; the 3rd is a kid who might shine and shit his pants perhaps in the same match.
Strength in depth is really nonexistent.
LW Nkunku picks up an injury--not the first time for him--we end up with a 19yo who manages to twist his knee all by himself (likely just lacking physique). Now we end up with Mudryk and hoping he becomes at least "employable" for a few games. The goalie is a completely unknown.... not because we are mean to him, but he simply has not really played enough matches at this level.
Sorry, but that's just not a good squad for this season and for any top club. Yeah maybe in a season or two, with a tweak here and there, we may become competitive again, but this ain't it.
Now imagine if Sterling and/or Jackson are out? Yes, I'm sure we've got an 18yo ready to twist his knee face the physicality of the PL. Madueke can't even protect the football well enough much less string two passes together. Yeah we are going to win a few matches, esp against the nonexistent, but we will be found time and time again, and that's going to be our season.

All I can think about is the PK. If you fail to take such chances, you can't complain about the outcome.
