I was just asking how BL he saw CA as a long-term manager when you look at the things I pointed out. Don't know if CA can ''turn the club into a dominant force next season''. About Terry, I doubt it. This is the Premier League, it takes so much out of you physically. In the Serie A you can rely on skill and you don't need to be in incredible shape to perform. Terry is already incredibly slow, can't imagine how slow he'll be become in 3, 4 years. He'll also most likely get injured like crazy. Just look at Carvalho. Couldn't play two games in a row without getting injured last season (and remember he was always a lot less injury-prone than JT). Now he's in Spain, no injuries and he's playing better than he's done in a long time.

Question: how is Ancelotti a long-term manager? His Milan side was pretty much the same team the 9 years he spent there as a manager. The side became ancient and because of that the needed consistency to win the domestic league was not there. 1 league title in 9 years as a result. After he left, Milan had to buy a lot of players to replace the (most of the too old) starters and now they finally look like title contenders again. The amount game time he gives to young players also show no indication of him being a long-term manager. If it was up to Ancelotti, we would be playing with the same side for the next five years. Just look at his ''Drogba can perform for another 3, 4 years'' statement and saying JT could have a career like Maldini. I really don't see how he is like Fergie or Arsene.

I never said that . I said at least that way we get something out of this season. The likes of McEachran, Kakuta, Sturridge, PVA, Bruma playing more games and that way improving and getting experience is only a good thing for us in the long-term. Going out and start buying without a solid 'transferplan' is just another example of the short-term way of thinking that surrounds this club. Nothing can save our domestic season imo.

If Carlo goes, put the reserves manager in charge till at least the end of the season (maybe he's a Guardiola II ). He knows the team and the youngsters. He'll also have faith in the youngsters, probably give them a lot more game time and that way we get something out of this season. Or steal Di Matteo from WBA! *I was also thinking about Zola but taking over this 'confused' bunch will probably only damage his legendary status.

That's why they would be better summer buys. Players always cost more in the winter.

These last two months we have gone back to constantly playing long balls aka ''we're not footballers'' football . How CA keeps starting these men I will never know.

Everyone except for Ivanovic Bos, Kalou and Cech must be exhausted. Wish CA would rest a few, Terry/Cole/Drogba, and drop the underperforming Ess along with the already dropped Anelka. We have to win this one with a solid performance (we deserve it). Losing or drawing would of course slim our chances of making the top four but it would also mean our starters would be even more tired than they already are..

Rossi is world-class for me. I watch him every week and he's been exceptional this season. But he's a supporting striker, playing of a/the main striker in a 2-strikers system. He does not fit in our system/formation.
