  1. . Unless we've completely given up on the title or finishing second, I don't see why changes need to be made when things are working so well.
  2. Petr Cech 7.5 Branislav Ivanovic 6 David Luiz 6 John Terry 6 Ashley Cole 7.5 John Obi Mikel 7.5 Micheal Essien 6.5 Frank Lampard 7 Salomon Kalou 5.5 Didier Drogba 7 Florent Malouda 6.5 SUBS Fernando Torres 8 Nicolas Anelka 6 Yossi Benayoun 6.5
  3. And we can all say in harmony: Finally.
  4. Nahh don't just look at the score. According to people watching the match, Valencia are playing terrible and Real's very effective today.
  5. Yeah i'm still confused about the whole slagging off Bridge thing and the reaction of some fans when he came to The Bridge disappointed me. I mean, show some respect .
  6. Cech 6 Ferreira 6 David Luiz 5.5 Terry 6.5 Cole 6.5 Mikel 6.5 Essien 6.5 Lampard 6 Kalou 6.5 Malouda 7.5 Drogba 8
  7. There's only one Chelsea player that's been world-class all season long and his name is Petr Cech so he gets my vote.
  8. They did? Damnit. Iker Casillas is a legend, very happy for the guy (it was the only trophy he had not won).
  9. Another great game by Didier, wonderful player. Kalou scores a fantastic goal, goal of the season material. Great cross by Bertrand for the third goal. Arsenal drops points. :cfc:
  10. I wish Torres would stop moving out wide, he's useless there.
  11. No I'm talking about how he'll react, everybody knows how influential he is within the squad.
  12. Nah I don't agree with all that Torres is our future talk. Torres will (probably) be part of our future but he won't win us anything without a great team behind him. And if he doesn't deliver the goods, Abramovich will just bring in someone else. And btw, Torres being in good/great form now doesn't guaranteee anything for next season.
  13. I get what you mean but you just can't bench Drogba when he's in this form.
  14. The thing is, the 4-3-3 formation is the best formation for our team so there's only room for one striker. It's only logical you pick the in-form Drogba over the out of form Torres.
  15. There was no reason to change the starting line-up. Why change the team that played so attractive and well?
  16. Forget Lukaku, convince Hazard and Kompany to join us :eyebrows:.
  17. This is what I've been so afraid of, failing to recognise some serious problems in our squad. We need at least four new players and if that doesn't happen, we'll be facing a lot more difficult moments in the future. And CA made the lack of depth a lot worse by playing only +\- 13 of our players during our difficult moment.
  18. The things that drew me to Chelsea in short (no particular order): 1. The colour blue 2. Eidur Gudjohnsen 3. Stamford Bridge* 4. The fact that nobody, well nobody I knew, seemed to like Chelsea (everybody liked Real, Arsenal, Man Utd etc. and I don't like 'liking what everybody else likes). And after that I fell in love I guess. (can't believe I forgot about that, I absolutely loved the stadium the first time I saw it)
  19. David Villa's situation isn't really comparable to Torres' situation. His goalless streak is like 10, 11 games while Fernando has been a shadow of himself for over a year. And don't forget about the fact that Torres was bought for 50 mil pounds and the fact he's a PL player so he has to deal with the ruthless English media (who don't really care about the other leagues). And I have some advice for you, just ignore them. Edit: And how could I forget, Torres plays for Chelsea.
