  1. Yeah I agree with you, for some reason it makes the shirt look much better.
  2. Nothing shocks me anymore though he is one of the last players I would suspect. Let's see what kind of treatment he'll get...
  3. That was Navas, he used to get homesick in the past.
  4. I'm with you. I can only dream of Chelsea ever reaching that level of greatness.
  5. If we had to move, Estadio da Luz definitely. The second most beautiful stadium around for me, a very close second. Replace all the red for blue and voilá.
  6. Cech - 6 Ivanovic - 6.5 Terry - 6 Luiz - 6 Cole - 7.5 Mikel - 7.5 Essien - 7 Lampard - 7 Malouda - 6.5 Kalou - 6.5 Drogba - 9
  7. Yes it did, amazing how one small change made such an huge difference in our midfield-play. Hope it wasn't just our day today and that the change will cause a lasting positive effect.
  8. It's La Liga. This is the least interesting/tense game of the four RMCF - FCB games, should still be a good game though. And I think Barcelona will win again.
  9. No you're not, haven't seen a supersharp counter-attack like that since the Mourinho days.
  10. When WBA scored, I told a friend of mine that we never seem to react well when we're down and that I was interested to see what would happen now... Well what a great response to their goal. Haven't seen the boys play like this since the Sunderland game. Drogba's playing the best game he's played all season, showing his all-round game and even showing off from time to time. Also cleared the ball of the line, it's his day today. Happy for the guy . And almost forgot about Malouda, he's actually having a good game . Hope this isn't just our day and we can perform like this again and again for the rest of season.
  11. First of all I said you can fault him for not winning more titles with the good squad he had. And what's with all the 'does that make him a bad manager' talk? Where did I say CA was a bad manager (?), I even called him a good manager. And you keep talking about Hiddink's period at Madrid but the man has been a coach for over twenty years yet you chose to ignore his successes and focus on his failures, that's unfair. There's not a single manager out there that only had succes. Whether you find it dumb to sack CA is your opinion so allow people to have their own on this matter.
  12. What does he have to with anything?
  13. Of course CA's a good manager but you can fault him for not winning more titles when he did have a great squad (the years before the 2007/2008 season) or in his time at Juventus. And there's a difference in being a good manager and being the right manager. I don't neccissarily want him out but I do question whether he's the right manager for Chelsea.
  14. Mancini's squad was so much stronger than the rest, winning the title year after year was only normal. It's like with Lyon a few years back when they became champions seven years in a row. But in the CL, Mancini's Inter was very poor and never managed to get past the second round of the competition. (I'm purely trying to explain Mancini's situation in Italy) I do think people are being unfair towards Guardiola. Yes he has a absolutely fantastic squad and yes that plays a huge part in his succes but like Henrique said, it was pretty much the same squad that went through a rough patch for two seasons. You have to give the man credit for things like getting rid of the likes of Ronaldinho and Deco (though the Eto'o + money - Ibrahimovic swap was a huge mistake), spotting Busquets' talent very early when many criticized him for benching Touré, Valdes growing out into a fantastic goalkeeper under him after being average GK for years, giving Messi a new role as a false number 9 which helped him become an even better player than he already was and some more good/great decisions.
  15. Exactly the type of midfielder we need. Fantastic player and he's also very young, perfect buy (maybe too perfect to be true ).
  16. I disagree. For example, we are now looking at the worst Man Utd side in years yet they always perform when they need to and always perform in big matches. They might not always win but they are never out of the game until the final whistle. Ferguson must have something to do with that.
  17. No I'm not talking about that. Mourinho has the ability to get the best out of his players, to make them feel like they're the best in the world and like they're invincible. I have no idea.
