He's has 10 clean sheets in 21 league games and 15 in 27 in all comps, that would be considered excellent numbers even for prime Cech.

Honestly I disagree, we don't have a like for like sub for Jorginho, Cesc is the only player in the squad who can play that role. Sure his legs arent what they were, hes never been the strongest or fastest anyway but technically he is still a good option in that role. Good experienced player to have in the squad and if hes willing to stay here and do that role again next season why not? Football is a squad game as much as anything these days. Also we have more pressing concerns in other places like upfront, central defence and out wide with Willian and Pedro's inconsistencies, they should be addressed first.

That save today from Redmond was world class. The ball was travelling and moving a lot in the air and Kepa was on the back foot getting back on his line. 
I've also noticed the last couple of games making some very good saves that he has strong hands and wrists. This worried me after that Arsenal game.
He is already looking settled and solid for us, and can only get better. I get the impression that the defence in front of him are growing in confidence with his performances too.

Take away his flirting with Madrid (pretty much since he joined us) and you get the most level-headed, modest pro you could imagine. People are starting to get nervous because he hasn't signed da ting yet

He's the only other one we have that can really play that role.  Everyone was quick to write him off in Conte's first season.  But he changed his game as well as he could.  That caught up to him last year, but a 2 man midfield is just asking for too much from him.  Yeah, he doesn't have the legs anymore, but having 70% of the ball certainly helps in that regard.  His passing and tactical awareness are still there.

Would rather say we are fortunate that Hazard is Hazard, and that both Chelsea and Hazard have been admirable in keeping things civil, with lot of respect towards each other.
I say Hazard, because we have seen top players at other clubs (looking at Sanchez at Arsenal) kick up a fuss and ruin games while pondering their next move. Hazard on the other hand has been professional and never tries to sabotage the team's chances of winning anything.

I m sure Hazard had that in him from day one i think. He just needed the right setup and Sarri is providing it thru his philosophy.
If Chelsea continue to progress like this and commit in picking attack minded managers, i could see him sign that infamous contract especially if RM is a mess this season. That kid just want to have fun while fulfilling his potential.

One thing I've always liked is how Hazard has this connection with the previous generation of Chelsea greats... JT, Lamps, DD and Joey Cole. Played with all of them and all of them are big fans of his. Now he has one more admirer in Zola.

I wouldn’t say he likes it per se. Just under our previous managers the system required him to because we had no players (like Jorginho or Kova) who were comfortable at moving the ball forward from deep.

I don't really blame him for wanting out tbh. Our ambition isn't what it used too be in the beginning of the Roman Abramovich era.
We now seem content with a top four finish and looking at our spending compared to that of City and United winning another PL title  seems very unlikely.(the way the situation currently is).
 
Fans are fickle as hell. Hazard was booed by fans in the 2015-2016 season and more then half the board on here wanted him out and was insulting him on these boards. 
The people who supported him in his bad times are a minority and pretty sure that most of them would understand why he'd leave. 
Players shouldn't base their career decisions on what the fans think. Players are "usable things" the moment they aren't of any use any more fans move on to the next.
 
Also Lampard went to City. Cech went to Arsenal. 2 club legends that had been here for 10 years+ and had an emotional connection with the fans yet both pretty much went "fuck the fans i'll choose what's best for me."

Can't believe people actually think Hazard is waiting for Courtois to sign a new contract. They were both clearly joking. 
I highly doubt Hazard is signing any contract until the summer. Not unless he's 100 % sure Real isn't coming for him in the summer.
 
On the whole loyalty talk. 
Sorry but i always find it funny when supporters get on their high horse when talking about player loyalty. 
How many wanted Hazard gone in the 2015-2016 season. How many were spouting insults at Hazard that season. He was even booed at one stage of the season.
This was a player that had been key in getting us the title the year before. So where was the loyalty there ? 
Easy to talk about player loyalty. Simple fact is supporters and clubs aren't any better. We all look after our own self-interest. If a players isn't of value anymore to a club or supporters they'll discard him like that.
