  1. So far, they've only beat Reading and Norwich, two of the shittiest teams in the league. If we lose against them at home, oh god, I don't even want to think about it.
  2. I bet manpe's heart that Ferreira will get at least one appearance. If I should win, manpe will never love, type or sing again. Though, before his heart is cut out, someone should rip his vocal folds out to preserve them, so his voice is not lost. We just can't afford to lose that gem.
  3. I thought he was immense along with Ramires. Those two are like a brick wall.
  4. According to this diehard liberal and Obama fanatic from my high school, it's now the "obamanation". The irony.
  5. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
  6. I think that's why di Matteo prefers Torres to Sturridge. Many people think he's utter shit, but his linkup with players around him is superb. He's also one of the better passers and crossers on the team and is fairly good at holding up the ball. The only two bad problems he has are that he's hopelessly indecisive when in on goal and that he never seems to be in the right position. Sturridge, on the other hand, is terrible at pretty much everything Torres is good at and good at pretty much everything Torres is bad at. He doesn't provide a good link like Torres, and his crossing and passing are terrible, but he never thinks twice to shoot and makes some very sweet runs. Now, I don't think the team needs a player like Torres when Mata, Oscar and Hazard are all playing. The trio behind him have been able to provide him so many great opportunities to score, even though he's not always in the right place. He sometimes even gets three clear-cut chances in a game and still fails to score. Even if Sturridge proves to be a bit of a negative to the team effort, with the support he gets, he should be able to score many goals, and I think the team will benefit more that way.
  7. Another shit poor game for Cole. He allowed so much space on his side of the pitch in the first half, and his awkward touch almost let Swansea through on Cech's goal. That late howler, which led to Swansea's goal, was an icing on a cake of shit. Di Matteo should have taken him off, not Oscar, though admittedly he wasn't that great either, when he introduced Bertrand, and Cole needs to pick it up.
  8. To be fair, Torres has been strong in the air and holding up the ball, but he's been scared as fuck to take a shot. Most of his games have been like this so far basically. Good with his secondary duty, horrid when it comes to scoring goals.
  9. Jesus Christ, Torres, take a fucking shot, you dumb fuck.
  10. Chill out, guys. You know you're not him, and if some idiot says you are, you don't have to take him seriously. This is pretty trivial and shouldn't upset anyone.
  11. Just had the craziest idea, but I think we should play Lampard up front instead of Torres.
  12. They're fucked, then. Their premature decision to give Clattenburg so much support when everything is speculative will send out messages like "We don't care if Clattenburg is racist." Now, that part isn't so bad. It will just be embarrassing. The bad part I think is, if they actually do boycott against us, I can see them getting into huge trouble because by boycotting, they will be blatantly expressing bias against the club.
  13. Robots. Robots are the answer. Robots are the future. They should definitely build some robot referees. I love robots.
  14. He probably misses Terry the most. He's always been erratic and all, but since Terry started to serve his ban, he's made more errors (or at least that's how it seems), and his performance has been unacceptable in general. For example, today, he decided to dribble all the way up the pitch with the score tied at 1-1 in the first half. I don't think he would have done that had Terry played alongside him. I still think that, however, Luiz is a vital part of our defense. His pace really makes up for Terry's lack of pace. He also makes some excellent challenges, though he's been a bit too enthusiastic and mistimed many recently.
  15. Me reading the thread: "2-0 for Reading within the first 20 minutes?" "4-0 Reading? This can't be real." *reads some more posts* "Holy shit, Reading hammered Arsenal! LOL" *more posts* "Arsenal equalized? WTF?" *more* "Oh, fuck this shit..."

  17. I don't think Anton Ferdinand made any claim against Terry in the beginning. The issue was brought up by other people, and he just seemed to roll with it.
  18. That video is definitely inconclusive, but we all know the FA has some absurd standards regarding evidence. Also, the FA is an extremely sensitive organization when it comes to racism, not because it really hates racism, but because it likes to please the public. (If the FA really did care about effectively eliminating racism without making a huge mess of it, it would have created more thoughtful policies, not the shallow and inconsistent ones they have now.) They could easily punish Suarez and Terry, both without conclusive evidence, because that's what a lot of people wanted. Clattenburg is less popular than those two. Not a lot of people care about refs, and I doubt the FA considers him an indispensable employee especially after the 2009 incident. There's no doubt he'll lose his job if he's found guilty. If he isn't, then I think the FA will make up an excuse to fire or demote him just to cover things up.
  19. Really? I thought all straight reds were automatically subject to a 3+ match ban. Anyway, that's good.
  20. Poor Brana. The replay's convinced me that he didn't make any sufficient contact with Young. In fact, he did all he could to not make any contact. I wonder if there's any chance the club will make an appeal.
  21. I agree, but to some people it makes a world of a difference. For instance, JT might have been able to call Anton a cunt in a very broad sense, but he allegedly used a slightly more precise term, 'black cunt', and people flipped shit about it.
  22. The FA can't just ignore this after they had audaciously suspended JT. Also, Chelsea is a massively influential club like all other big clubs, so I reckon Clattenburg will lose his job now one way or another. But I don't think he should lose his job because he said those things, (if he had that is) although he clearly demonstrated earlier that he desperately lacks the professional abilities as an official.
