Hell, in the past few weeks most of the posts in the Sturridge thread have been praising his ability while in the Torres threads you'll see only posts defending him. I also believe that it will be extremely hard for him to live up to his enormous pricetag and I remember quite a few quality posters who agreed in his transfer topic but he's been a big-game player during his career so I'm optimistic about that.

This is by no means an in-depth analysis but I feel our midfield has gone a few steps backwards compared to say December. It has gone from missing some creativity to missing creativity + some Mikel. It could be the 4-4-2 but I'm not very fond of the Lampard - Essien duo at the moment.
