  1. Ancelotti's wet dream but feck no
  2. This should give you a good picture. Quite a long read but it's worth it. Unless you've got a good source confirming this I'd say it's just wishful thinking.
  3. Legend. He's too young to be talking about retirement. As much as I'd love to see him here for the next 4-5 years he should be playing football. I'd love to see him join our coaching staff in a few years but I guess that goes for most CFC players.
  4. If we did put a 50m bid on him I'll give up discussing anything off-pitch as we are run by monkeys.
  5. Late contender for most useless poster of the season?
  6. In that case they better not have any funny ideas about horizontal stripes. I mean, those mock-ups are quality but stripes would make me miss the breast pads.
  7. PotY awards are about performances and not actual skill.. Very few of our big stars have consistently performed at their peak this season so it's natural players of lesser ability will have a greater shout.
  8. I'm all for conspiracy theories but we had people wanting Ancelotti and/or Roman out here too. You're wasting your time.
  9. What's the use of saying if we can win it? Of course we can, who's going to oppose that? I always treat such polls as "Will we do it?"
  10. I've been thinking on opening a thread like this so I've already got my top 4. Cech - We would have been on Liverpool's level had it not been for Petr. Possibly better than in 04/05. He's had a some dodgy games in the last few weeks but didn't pay for his mistakes.John Terry - Faultless. Breathtaking. I had a some doubts about his ability after last season but he's been proving me wrong since August.Brana - He's had more mediocre games than last season but he's still Mr. Consistent and Mr 7/10 Mikel - Our best midfielder by a fricking mile for the first half of the season and kept our midfield on his own early during our crisis. Unexpected improvement.
  11. I'm in the same boat with you two, although I think that's kinda taken for granted now Wonder how a switch back to 4-3-3 would affect him as he offers more than Essien nowadays.
  12. Agreed however I think I'd have traded 2nd place for 3rd and the FA Cup even back then.
  13. I wouldn't be surprised. Although such a stat would be slightly misleading as he blatantly stole a goal from Anelka
  14. I was hinting towards a thread on TC on Nic's performances.
  15. You just know he'll have a great game after that with 9241235742314 assists and will prove this thread wrong only to dwindle into oblivion in the next game *cough*anelka*cough*.
  16. Not to mention that we had to spend 70+ mil to get back on track. And I won't shy away from saying that I wouldn't mind if he left. But anyway I guess that's a discussion for the end of the season.
  17. Want an alarming stat? I'd like to know how many goals have our forwards scored from open play since November. I'm sure that would bad even by Liverpool standards.
  18. I meant the Carling cup and I'm sure I've been through this pointless discussion.. Let's just say that beating West Ham, Newcatle, Fulham, ManUnited and Liverpool is more impressive than beating Watford, Preston, Cardiff, Stoke, Villa and Pompey no matter the competition that you're playing.
  19. This topics suffers terribly from ignorance of the powers that be in Chelsea Football Club.
  20. More importantly, Ramires' beauty came from open play. Something which we really needed against teams as organized as ManCit. I'm feeling a bit more confident about our CL games.
