What games? FA Cup hasn't started so you're talking about League + League Cup games, of which there have been two I think. Too competitive doesn't make sense either. Everyone has a hard time winning bar Barca, Real, Bayern (and PSG). And even they often experience a tough time over the full 90 min but mask it with their firepower as they are capable of scoring at any time and score 3 goals in the space of 15-20 min. They trash teams in the CL as well.
English teams suffer because they're normal teams nowadays, capable of winning or losing any game. Which wasn't the case in 04-09.

To be honest, Barcelona changed 5 managers since 2003, yet they managed to win the Uefa Champions League 4 times during this period. Ferguson's Man. United only won it twice in 27 years, right? Nowadays, football is not about long-term anymore. It's about adaptation. If you need to change, you change. The most successful clubs in Europe during the past 25 years or so, changed their managers constantly. Look at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, Juve, Milan, even us. We should stop trying to find the new Ferguson. We need to find stability in ideas, not in people! Again, check out how Barcelona got their stability. It's not about the manager, it's about the academy. And that's only one example.

I would choose hazard over jose, however, we will be fine if hazard/jose leaves. It has happened before and we managed through it, so it would happen again.

Chelsea+English fans are different from Real and Spain supporters though. English fans have soft spot for hard working players like Ramires, while Spanish fans have a soft spot for graceful players. As I said Bale starting on a regular basis frustrated Madrid fans more then his form. I don't think Madrid frustration level would have reached that high with Bale if Carlo had benched him for Isco a fan fave.

Move on yeah, but you can't compare KDB to Cuadrado at all. KDB was actually MOTM in the first game and had a great pre season (even though that holds little weight) as well. Not comparable whatsoever.

It was Silva and Iniesta who were making Spain play while Cesc was there to play a pass or two.
Still he was good and looked much better in 3 man midfield like to guy's said above. There was a fantastic diagonal pass to Iniesta that Andres failed to hit well with his head.
