Most probably been to close to a thousand odd games over the years...so don't preach to me what's natural hatred and what not. To not like Leeds is natural...that is in our D.N.A .

You need to get over yourself if you are that bothered about pre season results.Crikeys...we have got to play Barca and PSG as well....could easily lose them if they are further ahead in their own preseason with regards to fitness and playing time for individual players. It must have been hard for you when we lost 3-0 to Werder Bremen in a pre season not so long back. The Charity shield is just part of pre season and regarded as a friendly even by the FA. I would rather lose and the squad be completely injury free with some quality match fitness gained ready for the next match 3 days later over a hard fought must win at all costs and players coming off with bad knocks and strains ans so therefore possibly jeopordising season start a week later. Obviously its nice to win every pre season but bigger picture always prevails
-
dont give a toss about the result (never have done in friendlies)...as long as the team get through with no injuries and the fitness/performance levels are increasing ready for the next pre season match following
-
at the end of the day...it is classed as a friendly...FACT
-
because its a friendly......just like the international cup friendlies v Barca, PSG and Fiorentina. I regard the Fiorentina one as the most important one of the pre season as its the last one before season start and we get to see where we are at

havent actually seen anything worthwhile believing on whether he is staying or not. Even the BBC sport article which seems to be the main source of his move being blocked and wont be sold is hypocritical by suggesting that a transfer has been blocked then a paragraph or so later suggest that Chelsea have a put minimum price tag on his head
-
he scores when he wants...John Obi Mikel...he scores when he wants

I reckon and dearly hope you are guessing wrong. The league should always be the priority. Anything else such as the CL, FA Cup and lastly the League cup is a bonus and if we do well and are lucky enough to win one on top of winning the league..then all well and good. For those mentioning irrelevant trophies such as the Community shield......They dont count. For me the match against Fiorentina 3 days later is more important as it is our last pre season game

Well we have just under 2 years to sort out all the red tape and get a replacement playing venue if they can keep to proposed timeline. Sure as egge are eggs, one or more of the authorites, residential groups etc will try to throw a spanner in the works and delay the process. Roll on May/June 2017

Hopefully there are not too many untouchables especially nowadays it is a best 18 rather than a best 11 teams should be striving to send out each week. However, my untouchables are just the 4: Courtois, Matic, Hazard and Costa. If we lose any of them, we seem to lose a bit of edge to our game. The rest are all replacable

has he actually told you this is the reason why?

Poor choice of wording there old fruit

At the consultation it was said pitch will be bigger and will meet the Uefa minimum requirement of 7.5m from pitch.......plus thats why there will be a basement so TV trucks, equipment can go underground. Also the only way the stadium will be bigger capacity is if rail seating is bought in for standing areas I.e. if lower tier at both ends are converted. Say they are 3k each, covert to rail seats adds around 12% extra seats and then upto 2 standing for every 1 seat depending which model is used. So possibilities of 60.6k approx all seated or 67k approx seating and standing
-
be handy if they could learn to spell for the UK market
-
They said at the consultation that prices will be run similar to what they do at present. ie...there will not be a massive price hike to pay for it and there will be incentives for families and youths as there is nowadays. Current ST holders would be able to keep a seat position very much in line with what they have now
-
Yes...read that on Chelsea Chat where it seems quite a few from there have been to the consultation
-
so small I cannot even see any red....eye test needed
-
would have thought so if they have to dig down 4 metres
-
I will pass on your details at the next board meeting ;-)
-
Good to hear that fears of corporate ring of silence have been dispelled. The 2 ends will remain corporate free and the away support will still have SE corner but 3rd tier only.....no increase in allocation. Lets hope they stick to this
-
yes....starting summer 2017 with a 3 year rebuild
-
With the stadium design reports of going back in time to the original royal blue, I hope that Adidas will do the same for kits soon. Would love to see a slight modern twist of 1970's kit and colour in the near future
-
So you say you are treating them as equals and then yet again lay into one of them without knowing the full facts and details and coming up with conspiracy theories of your own such as 'forced' into signing for another club. Yet again.....treat them as equals. For goodness sake, we even let another legend sign for another club and he went on to play several matches against us including helping his new team kmock us out of the FA Cup. Then we built a statue of him
-
Wierd......you applaud and praise someone who wanted out of their contract to play for another rivel club yet castigate another legend who had no contract and was a free agent to do what he wants without being accountable to anyone. Why can't you just treat them both as equals that have some serious history with Chelsea and will both always be respected by match gping support
-
Lets hope that supporters who want to say something at the consultation process in next 4 days are listened to by the club and designers. On my way there soon
