yeah in the past players such as Drogba and Shearer were awful ;-)
-
that would come...some managers cant speak english properly....hell, even some British guys are hard to understand
-
but my point is...that when all the 'bad boys' were given the armband, they calmed down a bit in general and had a responsibilty to others.Costa is charasmatic, a born winner, wants to lead people into battle as well as being a very decent footballer. Giving him the armband would in my humble opinion just calm him down a bit and make him more level headed
-
Rooney, Zlatan, our own Dennis Wise, Roy Keane....there are loads of examples
-
Plenty of 'bad boys' have been given the armband before in football and its actually made them a bit more level headed
-
Diego would make a decent skipper.
-
We won because we were better than them and seized upon their mistake for the 1st. Willian still had to intercept and Costa still had to get into position. We controlled that match comfortably and shut the game down 2nd half
-
We made them look poor.....but you must admit it was a better, more solid and disciplined performance than what has been produced so far this season. The improvement in that alone should satify the most half empty glass posters. The MHL seemed OK with the match as well
-
Plenty of them considering the season so far. Controlled the game for virtually 90 mins. Defence looked a lot better. JT was on good form and controlling our back line well. Key players rested for the long trip to Kiev. Mourinho got his subs right to protect Baba. Costa looked fit and sharp. We scored 2 goals from open play rather than set pieces Confidence seemed to be coming back. We have moved up the table. Didnt seem to pick up injuries. Team look disciplined and balanced. Am sure all the quicker passing from back to front will improve with confidence of getting results
-
Can you keep a secret....just between you and me? Sssshhh...here goes. That rotation thingy that posters complained he wasnt doing throughout the squad...yeah. Well...I have a feeling that he is doing it now and players that were not used or had limited time could well feature on Tuesday night in Kiev. As for the performance today...solid, no dramas and easy. No less no more. 3 points was needed to keep the vultures away except the OTT wendies on Talkchelsea. Today was about the points, clean sheet and confidence....nothing else.
-
Hope you liked the 3 points

Thought Mourinho had a good managers performance today. Taking off RLC to bring Matic on and therefore give Baba who was struggling a little more protection on that side seemed reasonable enough. Villa were obviously sent out by 'tactics' Tim to get straight into us and try to capitalise on any confidence issues. Thought we held them comfortably for 20 mins before going on to control the play until the final whistle. Seemed obvious that Mourinho and the team had the long trip to Kiev in mind as well...with the subs and closing down of the match giving Villa nothing. Remember Mourinho used to be lauded as a tactical genius when he used to make quickfire changes such as 2 or 3 at halftime and we won with comfort......now posters moan if a player doesnt get an hour .
-
statement of intent from him today. you got what you wanted Expect not to see any twitching about his selections today even if we lose ;-)
-
some of the over reactive 'wendies' on here will be knocking one out as as we speak as they think up posts to troll us with. When its built up to be a ' Mourinho versus X, Y or Z' more often than not he prevails
-
where has this finishing mid table talk come from? At the presser yesterday it was about being much higher up the table by Dec/Jan and in previous soundbytes he is still talking about top 4
-
no he doesnt...if there is indeed an issue, someone needs to make a stand against these corrupt bunch of champagne quoffing, lets have a jolly, money grabbing dinasaurs. And if the issue is directed at the players or manager then I am happy he has the balls to stand up against them
-
thats what the journo's asked and he wouldnt give anymore away
-
off topic again... but actually 'popped' into Stamford Bridge for the first time FA Cup January 1969 But back on topic.....what did you think of the press conference? Thought he was laid back, relaxed and on good form
-
dunno where you popped up from and posted a reply that had nothing to do with my post but grow a pair.Seems you are more worried about what other fans think of us....who gives a flying toss what they they and the media think, but if you are taken in by all their comments and stories...then more fool you. Plenty of pride and dignity amongst the support. But back on point...a good presser from him and good to know he is contesting the FA fine
-
so one minute you scoff at the fact that the FA have bias ( above) and then (below) the next you say that they eased up on it at a certain time. make your mind up fella
-
can you show us the figures showing the height of our popularity under Carlo compared to other times. Would make good reading and interesting to know where you get these bonafide facts and figures from. Thanks in advance P.S. ooooh yes...forget the reason why I posted. Its because I think ( but have no figures to prove it ) that as a whole we were more popular with other clubs fans under Ranieri and Romans 1st season when other clubs and supporters didnt really know what had hit them and we were not winning PL titles at the time and not a big threat in their eyes. But back to you saying we were more popular back then than now....I bet our fanbase has grown considerably since then adding to our popularity and worldwide income so sod what anyone else i.e other club fans and neutrals think
-
right ho......and then get another charge to explain his words.Damned if he does.....damned if he doesnt
-
ahhhh....naked twitter games. Is a camera involved?

anyone believe Mourinho when he was joking about the 'mutiny' and basically said Papa, Baba, Falcao, Oscar must have been the ones to cause the mutiny as they dont start on Saturday
