  1. But he didnt work out for this club and the tactics/systems we use under this manager. Under another manager at this club then perhaps a different story.....who would you have though, KdB or Mourinho?
  2. the manager even hinted at the training regime one whilst KdB was at the club
  3. like him allegedly questioning the training and tactics and sulking when told to wind his neck in.like his father/agent allegedly repeatedly knocking on the managers door demanding he play. All strong rumours, but definately a "no smoke without fire" syndrome in his case
  4. Thank you Mod. Peace and quiet on my mobile at last
  5. Thank you for apology.I will let let Mods deal with the rest as you insist carrying it on. bye
  6. back your truck up.Mods dealt with it earlier and you are just jumping on the bandwagon. You incorrectly assumed I wanted Cundy ....I put you right and have also explained that where I was (with my young grandchildren) DD didnt come over very well. Now back off or get an earlier bus next time
  7. Not at all...was just responding to your incorrectly assumed post and relaying my experience of the day. You are the one bringing the subject back up...I merely responded defending my corner.
  8. Think you got your frillies in a twist there precious.... nothing to do with Cundy. All I said was that (for me and the crowd around us ) it didnt sound great and looked as if DD was hogging the lime light. Maybe it might have been where we were stood...but there was a lot of echo, sound delay and feedback and shouting down a mike wasnt helping. The fact that DD was on the mike a lot at this time has biased my opinion...to be fair it could have been anyone but it wasnt a pleasent experience
  9. Thats everything that we do not want Stamford Bridge to be. An ugly bowl hidden by poles . with a surround roof on Would still love a big one tier kop for home end
  10. am really happy...especially as I dont have to hear him singing again. Just need to stop Jose and the kit man next.
  11. earnt the right to act like a twat...right ho. Ruined it for many people
  12. Doesnt stop him appearing to wanting the hog the limelight. Didnt look good...didnt sound good.
  13. Might have 'legend' status but he was an embarrassment on the victory parade. Hogging the microphone, crap singing trying to lead the crowd ....just sounded like a load of shouty noise . Should have stepped back and let more of the others do their bit.
  14. What constant thuggery is that then? All he is, is a centre forward who looks after himself....getting involved in tangles, trying to grapple your way out of defenders arm, body, head locks , sledging - giving and receiving, etc etc etc. Its all part of it...football is a contact sport incase you didnt realise that. Would rather have someone like that up top keeping defence occupied rather than someone who used to hide in corners like Torres or throw themselves onto the ground feigning serious injury every time a defender breathes like Drogba used to. Look at old footage of proper centre forwards like Peter Osgood, Malcom Macdonald, etc etc. they used to get battered but dished out as well
  15. Benteke puts himself about a bit as well ...all arms and elbows near defenders. Nowhere near the standard of Costa with guile, runs and finishing. Mind you, remember when Drogba first came....he was all over the place and pretty awful to watch for a couple of years and both of these play at a better allround standard than he did back then
  16. He should only be given a coaching role only if he is good enough. The club is too professional just to hand out important roles just because of who they are....well lets hope they are. So, once he has done his badges and learnt from the current staff...then perhaps ( and only if he shows promise) he should get a role. But perhaps he prefers some type of advisory role rather than coaching..i.e. talking to players breaking into the 1st team squad, speaking to youth about how it was for him etc etc
  17. They are targeting him....firstly and foremost because he is a bloody good player who has defined our season. Loose cannon my backside....he knows exactly what he is doing and he is also playing the game of winding defenders up....two way street here. A season where he has badly been fouled and not picking up any reds....pretty damn good

  19. Would rather have someone who shows a bit off bottle and fight rather than throwing themselves to the ground and pretending to be hurt like one or two of recent legends. Teams at the moment systematically target him by taking turns...WBA did it perfectly. I love his reactions and lets defenders know that they are in a battle. Jose and others ( even media such as talksport ) have started to speak out about this systematic fouling of him and hopefully refs will be wise to it and start to protect him. Reminds me of how George Best was targeted and how he could look after himself
  20. Cannot see whats wrong with a tiny bit of red on the kit. I was always told is was to pay respect/homage to the Chelsea Pensioners...not sure how true that is but sounds plausible enough. Suppose we will see kits in June once Samsung deal is over
  21. Why is it a much better contest? The last game in preseason is the one where you expect to players nearly match fit and an indication of where the team is at. The Charity Shield is just one if those games in the run up to the season start....nothing that special about it.
