off subject...1. I have never ever said I am on a proper forum....just said i post on another one and am well known....like you are well known on here (for a variety of reasons)2. i have never ever said I only come on here to laugh at posts...though like most forums it can be very amusing 3. as usual ...you have jumped in without reading the full post .I answered the poster when he said he predicted everything in July including transfers or in this case lack of. That is what you replied to. No one....not even the board, Mourinho, the best poster on talkchelsea, the hindsight merchants ( loads on here ) could have predicted what was going to happen in the transfer window up until Sep 2nd from back in July. However if a clever cloggs like you think you are able to then let us all know in December so we can all make a shed load of dosh in January with the bookies. Until, then...just enjoy the ride....football ain't everything and whether its home, away or in Europe....we always have a laugh and a good time

well everyone seems to be wanting to dismiss Mourinho because of 1 'so far' bad season.......so why not

so the referee "invites" Mourinho into his dressing room during the half time interval after Mourinho had a few choice words with him in the tunnel. Wonder what the choice words were about....surely not the ball over the line as that was proven....so it was either the debatable offside, the 2 yellows on Matic ( hard to argue against) or that one of his staff got a red. I wonder what was discussed between the officials in the interim period. Did they get advice from the rule book or phone the FA on how to deal with him etc etc etc? Either way, I find it amusing that the ref had to go into his room and then summon Jose to it......why not just give him a red in the tunnel

cant say say I am over the moon, but it doesnt bother me that much either...too long in the tooth for all that. There is more to my life than clinging on to hope that my football team does well. Will a manager change help....I doubt it as a lot of this is down to individuals not carrying out what they are meant to do.. The manager has gone back to basics and kept it simple and in general we played ok today. Not great but a lot of pundits thought our 2nd half performance deserved better. Jose doesnt go out of his way to be bigger than the team....its the media fascination with him that hang onto his every word and action and turn it around to suit. prime example those 2 stupid kids badgering him privately this week....big media news. having said all that he needs his staff to be more in control and be the good cops if he is the bad one.....

its the way the game is nowadays. Years back it was unlucky if you got a red and other professionals were sorry for you...nowadays they celebrate a player getting sent off

well here in UK..its not regarded as a 'massive' thing. Officially ( The FA ) its a friendly and most supporters regard it as that.....had we been playing Villa instead of Arsenal, it wouldnt have made a difference.

well you do not know what you are talking about because a lot of regular match goers dont bother with it and it struggles to sell out even when it goes to general sale.Managers like to build it up but we all know its played at about 70% The FA deem it as a friendly match as you are allowed up to 6 subs during the match...we made 4. Charity shield always has been a friendly, always will be unless you are like Arsenal and one or two other clubs who love winning irrelevant pre season tournys. Imagine if we had won the USA thing ...does that count as well?

mourinho has stated many times that he thought KdB was a very talented kid and wanted to keep him, however he as always stated that when a player wants to go because he is unhappy at the way things are going..he will always let them. Lukaku could have stayed and learnt off Drogba and would have had loads of chances that season due to injuries and suspension.....but yet another player who wanted a guaranteed starting spot.
