well at least he virtually told us the team for Saturday when questioned about mutiny.
-
some rather generic stuff we have heard before.
-
mourinho also said KdB wasnt ready to compete every dsy for his place "Mourinho said: "With De Bruyne, if you have a player knocking on your door and crying every day he wants to leave, you have to make a decision. At that time, Chelsea did well "If De Bruyne stayed here, not happy and not motivated, and we'd sold him after a year, we'd have got less - 50 per cent less than we sold him for. "But, if he was at Chelsea and not at Wolfsburg, he wouldn't have reached this level. It was like a wall, a block. "He was not ready to compete. He was an upset kid, training very bad. So similar situation to Lukaku where he wanted guarenteed starting place but wasnt up to fighting for it

He hasnt even got to do one ....You are missing the whole point of his well put answer to the after match interviewer. Using Soton was just a folly and a platform for the real point he was getting across. The fact that there are a lot of irregularities with decisions during and after matches that are directly affecting Chelsea. He knew exactly what he was doing and it took Balls to do what he did knowing the conseqUences, l like that To quote respected Times journalist and season ticket Chelsea supporter Giles Smith 'Not content with describing it as a rant, some analysts even sought to hand Joses comments a place on the list of great televised post-match meltdowns which would have been fine if it had been any kind of meltdown, rather than, actually, the very opposite: a solid, clear and properly thought-through assessment of the current, highly puzzling but by no means permanent situation, and a statement of some basic principles, appropriate to the moment.' And I agree

wengers points were not valid at all.....it still critcized the ref. Some circles think we should have had a pen...some not. Some think that Sotons were also not pens....some do. Moutinho needs to speak and if there is a problem....highlight it. and where the hell 3 stdium bans come rom....he hasnt received on yet that he has to do
-
I hope its not the last....he needs to stand up and question certain factors just like every other manager. He just gets charged for it whilst others dont.....it quite simple really. I'd rather have a leader questioning stuff rather than being quiet and just taking it. He has got his point out there about decisions and now everyone will be watch8ng with extra interest to see if he has a point
-
think everyone expected a fine and possibly a touchline ban...no one including you expected a suspended stadium ban
-
you should read the Giles Smith column on main website....he has got it about right.
-
So what game havent we got him for????What Soton could have got is totally irrelevant. Leave that to their manager to say something which he definately would have done if they lost. Jose was just talking about decisions that benefit Chelsea and rightly so. He has taken one for the team but at least got his point out there. Posters who say he should spend more time focusing on the team rather than make crass comments after being asked a question are being ridiculous. Its not as if he spends hours on thinking up an answer to a potential question....it takes seconds out of his day

because the matches were a little while ago and you called Matic 'awful' The other poster disagreed and used media to back his point about Matic. My suggestion to watch again because in all likelyhood you have actually forgotten parts of the match was for you both to re assess your opinions. My opinion on Matic in the said matches is that he was not awful....but he wasnt our best player in a bad bunch either due to his lack of game management, etc. and thats me having been at the games and just rewatched them on playback over last few days
-
well the problem is that he posted websites that gave Matic reasonable high marks and praise and used that as the argument.....and you if you wanted could go to other websites such as the Mail, Mirror etc etc and most probably dig out different marks and not so good comments about the same player in the same match. My point being is that bringing media sports writers point of view into a debate of whether a player had a decent game or not is meaningless. Why dont you both watch the said matches again in their entirety and rethink through your opinions based on what you see rather than what a sportswriter puts down because you are just going round in circles and its now a 'he said that, he said this' and misquoting all the time debate.
-
you actually believe that???? Chelsea and the transfer policies are run as a business....not because they are buddies with an agent or two
-
Lukaku can't trap a bag of cement......even that would bounce of him. His hold up play is poor compared to the likes of frontmen similar in stature to him such as Costa. What he is good at and thrives upon is running onto balls between the lines and on crosses/set pieces finding space between the 2 centre backs. If only he had the 'balls' to stay at the club he would have ended up getting quite a few matches that first season due to injury problems etc with our players. Then who knows what would have happened

Mourinho at the Ukraine Spain match in Kiev tonight. ;-) Every little detail
-
Matic does not and has not been covering for Ivan.
-
So should we and Chelsea Medical staff be concerned on Euro away legs that involve a longish flight...Kiev and Maccabi for example?Or is Roy just covering up the fact that Jose has requested him back conveniently forgetting Cahill might have to fly these type of distances in the near future?
-
Matic hasnt been awful this season but he also hasnt been anywhere near his best either. Now before you start saying that is because he is covering for others etc etc.... that whilst might be a small element in one or two games is not why. His timing on tackles seems to be slightly out and he also seems to be getting out muscled by a few opponents. Whether this down to confidence....who knows? His overall game management which is not always picked up on camera seems to be down a level as well. When on top form he was always on the move and his anticipation of developing situations was great plus the understanding he had with JT and Azpillcueta on the left worked brilliantly at times......all of that has gone missing at times. I know posters want players x y and z to come in but Matic needs to have players around him that he can trust and they trust him

Consistancy in selection with the right combination of players is whats required here in my humble opinion. Managers, coaches, ex players and pundits always go on about how partnerships are one of the most vital ingredients to achieving a good performance week in week out. What I have seen towards the back end of last season and the beginning of this one is not one player ( including Matic ) or duo stamping their authority on the 2 centre midfield spots and claim them as their own so the other protagonists have to fight to win them back. Now if someone as humble as me has spotted that from the terraces then I am sure that the head coach and his staff would have most definately spotted it. At this very moment in time, I would like to see us start with Matic and either RLC or Mikel and keep that for a run of matches so as to develop that partnership in real match situations. We need a calmness infront of the back 4...not headless chickens. I believe this would have a knock on effect with the back 4 and players like Ivanovic would pick up form on the back of it. Of course subs can be made in the 2nd half and/or tweaks to formation to say 433 to accomodate the other players. I know posters will say what about player x,y and z.....where are you going to play them? Not interested....we need good partnerships throughout the team which develop into overall team performances and in my opinion, I believe the hub of the team and what gets it to start to function properly is the centre midfield. So to recap....stick with Matic. Use one other solid lump RLC/Mikel with him and see how it pans out. It might not work 100% for a game or 2 but it needs to be stuck at

Wonder if they have got wind of the fact that Roman is waiting for them all at Cobham once they finish international duty ;-)
-
I apologise for letting it get that far
-
not OTT at all......just needed to spell it out in plain English so you understand your errors of gloating over an injury. An injury is an injury no matter how you look at it. But this above is like you saying that everytime a player has bad form...you wish an injury so they are unavailable for selection. Thats poor form from you and umbecoming of a Chelsea supporter. So, to save you from further embarrassment, I am going to refrain from respnding to you anymore on this subject. Now run along little boy
-
this post full of text speak, unsavoury words such as r***d complimented by a whole load of swearing proves to me that you have no idea what you are talking about and incapable of reasoned debate. No wonder the 'Mods' keep an eye on you.I am not TRYING to judge you...I AM judging you because of your actions and there is nothing high and mighty about it all. WHAT IS BEST FOR CHELSEA....is to have every player fit for selection......not to have players injured regardless of form. How can a player correct the poor form in training if he is injured? But I see you have answered the post in general by saying quote " so wanting the best for the club is now wrong" unquote, so I presume as you havent questioned it, that you would be happy about other players mentioned being injured and the manager having to be away for a couple of weeks as that would in your eyes 'be best for the club' ? Gloating over the fact that a player (Ivan in this case) has picked up an injury and therefore doubtful for team selection is certainly not good ethics. If you ever went to a match and were happy that one of the clubs players got an injury, you would get a right slapping from other match goers around you. This has nothing to do with form of a player....this is just about moronic posts from the likes of you. Like I mentioned in a previous post, you and others could have worded it better, shown some sympathy towards Ivanovich and wished he recovers soon and generally shown more respect to the player, the club and this forum. The way I would have done it and am sure most respectable supporters and posters is something like..Hard luck Ivan, get better soon, but looking forward perhaps this gives a chance for the manager to try someone new, a youngster perhaps. P.S. if as you claim 'love' Ivan that much, then why havent you come out in sympathy for his injury?
-
well you got this wrong because posters are happy that he is injured so he misses games.Thats shocking ..... ok Ivan hasnt been playing well, we all know that but the comments made were not right and they could have worded it better. At least have some sympathy and wish him a speedy recovery rather than gloat over the fact he has picked up an injury. So don't tell me what subject is debatable or not, because from what I am reading the antics of some of the posters on here over injured players is deplorable
-
Where have I said you dont support Chelsea?Matic injured as well...are you happy. Suppose you want Fabregas, Hazard etc etc to receive injuries as well as they havent played well either.....or even taking it to extremes and someone else has to manage the club for a couple of weeks because Jose has to go to a funeral. Shame on you ...but looking at your past history , I suppose its what we have come expect from the likes of you. Get better soon Ivanovich and hopefully be in the running for a team place and letting the manager do his job of picking a team. And that goes for any other lads injured
