dont think anyone is denying he is a decent player. There was obviously a problem between him and Mourinho/training staff and it doesnt matter how great you are, once that happens then escalates the way it allegedly did and the trust goes then no player is bigger than the team....... Unless you are Messi, which he ain't although he might think he is
-
ah...they have managed to do what no other newspaper or media outlet has managed to do and know what Abramovich is thinking or saying
-
last season we didnt officially sign Costa until July
-
just hope they keep the same training and medical regime as they always have. Its obvious there is a problem with that and Wenger is too stubborn to change his ways

Nobody can be 100% completely sure about anything when it comes to purchasing agreements, building regs, building permission etc etc when it comes to London councils. But Fordstam are the new landlords of rented apartments and are speaking with current live in owners of other ones. There has been talks with Twickenham by all accounts but nothing will happen until summer 2017 minimum. So, it will take the other stuff to be in place first .....but the latest rumour is that as early as summer .2017 it could start. However, everyone knows it only takes an objection here and there to kill the process which is why I should imagine the club are keeping quiet until pieces of the jigsaw fit. P.S. the other rumour of using both Twickenham and Wembley is still out there because of residential issues at Twickenham
-
but with Jose...it what he doesnt reveal is more important ;-)
-
Twickenham August 2017 Fordstam buying up remaining ownership and rented apartments including Ken Bates
-
whilst I agree with profile, matching player for player is pointless considering the teams are generally set up to play in different ways
-
and your other team is?
-
and who is to blame for that?
-
wel there you go...one accepted the regime and tried to take his chances without a fuss and the other didnt
-
but when pre seasons are generally played at 50 -75% intensity by teams then its not a lot to go on. Hell...Lukaku looked a world beater also on pre season. He did have opportunities but failed to take his chances and seemingly there was conflict between him and the coaching staff over training regime. Good player, wrong fit, have no sympathy for him but wish him continued success in Germany where he seems to fit in
-
Pre season means sweet FA ...only gaining fitness counts. Oscar or Lampard were man of match in most eyes and media reports in that first match. Against Utd he wasnt all that but as you said the team as a whole were off key. Allegedly having problems in training with Mourinho and the coaches by then. Dropped completely for Super Cup and Everton. Came on as late sub v Basel before league cup game v Swindon where he was shocking. But please dont let facts get in the way of a slight bout of memory loss which encourages a mild case of increasing numbers
-
very debatable.....played well in pre season friendlies but once the proper football started with more intensity he didnt figure as much or play as well
-
well done to him.Big fish in a small pond where the team is being built around him. Not so sure if he or perhaps his ego could cope with not being the big fish at a major club who have a lot of 'major' players. Rumours are that he is staying at Wolfsburg anyway so he should continue to prosper there
-
a whinging tosspot then?
-
Pogba = just a poor mans Mikel ;-)
-
Also, tenants who have apartments behind the shed have had letters stating their new landlord is Fordstam Ltd. Wonder how greybeard took that one

GREAT READING and well written Rhinos report card..not so well written and some parts are tongue in cheek for those easily offended. ;-) Manager - looked a relieved man at end of season. A job well done but needs to chill out a bit more and give the fans something at press conferences. Tibo - makes it look easy and perhaps didnt get the plaudits he deserved like DDG at Utd because of this Cech - Done everything asked of him in a professional manner. Wouldnt expect anything less from the great man Dave - Great full back...would like to see him being a bit more adventurous at times Luis - Unlucky to have Dave ahead of him but performed admirably in the main when called upon JT - tremendous season...knows his own strengths and weaknesses. Leader on and off the pitch. Cahill - unfairly criticized in some respects by some forum posters when in general he had a very decent season Ivan - Jose's golden boy. When he is on form he is unstoppable...needs to work on crossing and was caught out defensively a little too often putting pressure on the above Zouma - What a prospect...calmness personified. Another Desailly? Matic - In the middle of the pitch...he is the glue that holds all the pieces together Fabregas - What a signing he turned out to be. If any criticism, he can lose his magic hat and go missing in some of the bigger games. Ramires - he is good at running Mikel - he is good at urm...well being Mikel Hazard - what a season. When he is on the ball Stamford Bridge rises to see what happens next. Deserved all the accolades....just wish he would shoot more often Willian - He has seen the light and some of his performances were exceptional. If he could see the cross a tad earlier or have more attempts at goal next season we could be looking at next years PotY Oscar - started season in terrific fashion then just faded a bit. Hopefully this summer break will have him on top form for the whole season Costa - a proper centre forward who gives as much as he takes. Knows exactly how far too push it. Keeps our midfield in the game with his ball retention and his goals prove that actions speak louder than words

yes....happy.Your post makes sense when using the right terminology in this case. Why didnt you put the post I was responding too up as well in which the poster said that Lampard had forgotten about his achievements here? Because it would have been no surprise to Chelsea fans if he had said that winning the first title when he scored at Bolton was his greatest memory either. Looks as if you are just trying to score brownie points amongst your Anti-Lampard Cronies by demeaning his statement as if it could have been any footballer and of course they would say that.
-
A bit OTT...but hey ho......must be nice to make it up as you go along because he certainly hasnt forgotten his achievements here.Whether you are in the camp of he has done wrong or not, no-one can deny that on his most recent TV interview/documentary on SKY he explained that the CL win was his greatest day/memory in football But please do not let facts get in the way of a perfectly good rant
-
wasnt a loan...and there is nothing to apologise for as he was free agent. Its not as if he forced a move out of Chelsea so he could play for another club
-
I think its also the managers way of sending out thinly veiled messages to certain players and the new up and coming ones.He has also stated before about individuals who seem to lose a little focus by seemingly (in Jose's eyes) being misled by their 'hangers ons' and 'advisors' and RLC certainly falls in this category with his alleged entourage. A nice little message for RLC to take away with him for the summer. Hopefully for him and us he takes it the right way and tries even harder when he returns to Chelsea training
-
Hope all of you Aussie Chelsea are going to take over the bars near the ground and introducing the locals to some Chelsea songs
-
Imagine a face off between Wenger and Mourinho. Think we should also introduce the 'stare down' like they have a boxing weigh ins ;-)
