  1. It was more Newcastle tbh, when they scored 2 they pretty much shut it down and parked the bus. Gave Cesc all the time in the world on the ball.
  2. Being one footed itsn't a problem though. Some of the greatest players have been guilty of being one footed. Strangely they were all left footed, actually that is not strange almost all lefties are quite poor with their right.
  3. Yes I am a Chelsea fan. I am a football fan first though, I love to praise players that I like and i think it is warranted. My biggest pet peeves are delusional and extremely biased supporters, I can not tolarate it. I hardly ever criticize our players, I stay away from comparing Chelsea player vs Non Chelsea players. I actually do not like it. If I praise KDB I won't do it at the expense of bashing a player. I have stated my opinion on Mourinho many time, I am no less of a fan just because I do not believe him.
  4. It is one game, Barca lost to Celta Vega. it happens to the best, it sure can happen to City. Just for the record just because I think City is the best in the league, does not mean I rate them. The whole league is mediocre, someone has to be the best. Who you think is the best in the league? But loses happen to anyone you just can't overact. Mou exactly overacted last season when we lost to the same team Spurs, completely changed his tactic and got scared because of one loss. Pellegrino at least recognizes his talent unlike Mou, so yeah I am sure he is happy. Mou also preferred Khedira over Modric in his last season at Madrid so he is not in bad company.
  5. He is playing for the best team in England and playing under a more offensive oriented manager, Don't think he cares.
  6. Only Bayern steamroll over everyone, maybe prime Dortmund did that at one point but not anymore. Bayern are good enough to steamroll EPL teams also. City and Chelsea certainly not good enough, can't do it here or in Bundesliga. To an extent I do agree lower teams are better in the PL but not significant or that it gives the league an overall edge. Bundesliga have done better overall, that is why they have higher coefficient. Chelsea relatively to a degree have done as much for the EPL. PL would have lost that 4th CL years ago if it wasn't for our EL+CL in recent years. I'll be honest I don't care for this topic I only replied out of respect. Let's agree to disagree.
  7. Yes Yes. More importantly from a risk and reward standpoint of course. You paid almost the same amount for Martiel as Barca did for the best striker in the world Suarez. Martiel nowhere near as good as Suarez, now or possibly ever. If you think United are justified if Martiel becomes good eventually then lett me tell you an investing application. Say you bought a piece of property that was overvalued today and in 5 years the property equals or is greater. Can you say you were justified? Of course not because you paid for something that was overvalued and from a risk standpoint the reward was minimal. Same case in this situation United paid Martiel like he was the best striker in the world, and in 5 years he becomes the best striker you can't say you were justified because 5 years ago you took on massive risk. Btw he will play for Madrid in 5 years.
  8. Lol I should start read over my post more often, yeah objective is the word. I don't think you understand my post. Nothing outrageous it is the same way Uefa determines the merit of league strengths and which league deserves more CL spots. Simply put Bundesliga have outperformed EPL in CL/EL, until PL does better in Europe they have no legit claim as the stronger league.
  9. I'll be happy if he reaches Hulk or Dougles Costa level.
  10. You can't look at both cases the same way, every case is different. Every player is different, one progresses faster while others go slower. RLC is playing wonderful football and he has momentum, should be given more minutes.
  11. Honest question though, EPL is better based on what?Only objective way to compare the two leagues, is through how those two leagues have faired in European competition. Bundesliga has the edge, and PL are likely to lose one of their CL spots. Btw there goes Aresnal 4th place trophy on a positive note.
  12. EPL stronger then Bundesliga???Lol based on what? The year is 2015 not 2008, Bundesliga is definitely stronger or at the very least on the same level. Pay attention to European competition results, where Bundesliga have done better and while EPL will probably also fall behind Serie A.
  13. And?I hope Pep comes to EPL, and does exactly what you fear. It challenges the rest of the league to get better, it challenges Chelsea to get better and overthrow them. EPL is mediocre and only delusional people believe it is the best league in the world. The league needs a threat, just like the threat we were in Mou first two season at Chelsea. The league raised their level, and this was the start of the greatest period in English football. Nowadays EPL is in a state of mediocrity, we walked the league last season. Best team in this once great league, how did we fare against the best in Europe? We couldn't beat a 10 men PSG team, and they came in banged up with a lot of injuries. PSG is not even the standard, Bayern, Madrid, and Barca are the standard of world football. you should welcome a betterment of competition, in the grand scheme of things it is better for Chelsea.
  14. Dude take off your blue tinted glasses, You can hardly count that as a kick. FA was right. Here is a reverse camera of the incident. https://streamable.com/qk8p?t=38.1
  15. I honestly can never understand this way of thinking. My belief, values, and sense of justice comes first well before being a Chelsea fan. Honestly it is disturbing that so many would compensate their own beliefs and it shows a lack of character.
  16. Not very paritel, you didn't mention Mou temper tantrums during the game. Look for the video, you will find that being called "native" was the least damaging thing he said to her. Also there is probably more going on then what me and you know. I would guess the situation has come to the point where she cannot continue her job, you could probably guess it will be quite difficult for her to continue her job when her medical expertise is in question. It is a problem when the manager over bounds his boundary and starts questioning her and how she should do her job. Anyway good luck to her.
  17. Suarez is as much of a racist as John Terry. I will let you decide which is the case. Here is a reverse camera of the incidient. https://streamable.com/qk8p?t=38.1 Quite honestly people are focusing on the wrong part of the incident. The actual shove is the least of the issue, but maybe that was a red card offense i dont know. That did not do anything to damage the quality of the game. But the aftermath of the incident it was complete nonsense and damaged the quality of the game. Nobody(i hope) wants to see the childish back and forth between Costa and Gabriel, like kids on the playground. What is worse is the theatrics and the crowding of the ref to get a player sent off. That is cheating. Not sure how that is football or worth watching. Nothing in the incidient showed Costa as a tough or very masculine person. Only immature people could see Costa as tough or his actions as ammusing.
  18. I think the poster you quoted is saying in general It is very ineffective. Gabriel is only a few victim in his years of thuggery and trolling on the pitch. Costa spends more energy on the pitch trying to pick a fight then actually try to score a goal. Really poor by Gabriel most don't bite. Another thing to look at is the implication of his actions on ref decisions in the future. We already seen him denied clear cut penalties, thanks in large to his characteristics. That is no doubt something that will continue, and you have to consider when you call his actions effective.
  19. EPL is very poor from a tactical standpoint. Not hard to look like a tactical genius in this league.
  20. I wonder why we never pursued Jordan Amavi, he went for mere 9m. I think he well maybe the best LB in the league. On Gaya, I think Madrid is in his future. Marcelo has been quit injury prone in recent years this Makes sense for both parties.
  21. Mourinho fanboys like you just don't get it, it's the truth buddy. You don't see the big picture only see the short and immediate. I don't like the direction we are going with him, it was the case after winning the double it is the case after our worst start in 30 years. Nothing changes, nothing have occurred or seen to cause paradigm shift. It is not about moaning it is about wanting the best for the club. That will only occur under a new direction.
  22. Ivanovic was never really good going forward lol, decent at best. Don't let his contributions on set plays confuse you, that does not count.
