Can't blame any Chelsea Fan for falling for it when he is consistently talking about other managers; if it Is Pep, Wegner, or whoever it isn't surprising. Anyway very unprofessional by The Guardian.

Or living in England.

Am I wrong in thinking this? If Mourinho finds a job which undoubtedly he will next next season Chelsea would only have to pay the difference between his new contract and his old one. So I don't think think we would pay 30m because highly unlikely Mourinho goes jobless for 4 years.
-
When was this?

Matic without a doubt, nothing more obvious. Ok after Ivanovic and Cesc starting, no doubt Mou really dislikes Matic atm. He said this after the match, he publicly criticized One player(Matic), he subbed Matic as a sub. He really has shown his displeasure with Matic and maybe Hazard(benched against Porto).
-
Mou definitely preferred Marcelo though. Coentrao was huge for them when they destroyed Bayern over two legs under Carlo, he had his moments that season.Coentrao and Marcelo are even choices, Coentrao is a bad professional though. If he committed more to football instead of night life he would be outstanding. ARBELOA though.

Tell me what would those transfers do at the current situation? Who are those transfers that he wanted? Mouinho biggest failing is getting the best out of his players; almost every midfielder and forward has either stagnated or regressed at Chelsea. The frightening thing is that the longer our players have been exposed to Mou tactics and training the worse they have gotten. Remember how good Matic was when he arrived? Damn it seems like a distant memory when he had that game against City and had prime Yaya in his pocket. Was a Lion when he came in, and literally the perfect DM he had everything? Now he got shamefully substituted as a sub. Cesc in his first few months here was so good. Not just his assists but he was genuinely controlling the game. Always on the ball and always looking to receive the pass and passing forward. Now the game just passes by and he avoids the ball, and has been like this for most of last season too. Or Oscar how much promised he showed in his first first season, the boy has stagnated and I know him and many other players are better then they have showed under Mou. How about the players who have left like KDB, Salah, Cuardado. They have been sensational since leaving Mou and his tactics. It is honestly disheartening when Chelsea fans or oppositions take a swap at our players. Call Hazard overrated, Oscar shit, Cesc a fraud, Matic a poor mans Carraick. It is simply not true, under a friendlier attacking tactic and training they would be different players. I really wish our players the best and it would be such a waste for them to continue under Mou. They deserve better. it doesn't matter who we bring in you simply cannot over look this.
-
Surprising most here claimed RLC and Christensen were overrated before the season. But both are very promising. Saw him today and in midweek, very impressed with his calmness and ability on the ball. Reads the game very well for his age. Two years in Germany and hopefully he comes back like Tibo.

Why do you.call Mourinho Maureen, What does Maureen mean?
-
At Madrid he had a quite stubborn fetish for Arbeloa also, sold Carvajal. Pretty much infuriated a lot of people. Something about incompetent Rb with this guy.

Let's agree to disagree, we clearly see things differently. But I will list the things I disagree on. Ronaldo is not declining, messi also had a bad start last season. Still has 8 goals in 7 games, even though it came in two games. He will be alright at Bale FC. James doesn't have the charisma and magnetism like Ronaldo, or ever reach CR7 heights on the pitch. Like James a lot though. PSG would wipe United off the floor in a match, PSG is a class above. And they have made a lot of good football moves, and iq think you are selling those Arabs short. They have done well on the pitch, and they play a brand of football i am envious of. So from a football perspective it makes sense to choose PSG over United. Ronaldo would do wonders for PSG brand.

Outside of DDG none of them are good enough for Madrid. After the DDG debacle I think it maybe a while until they deal with Woodward again. madrid and their fans really like Navas, a poll showed by one of their newspaper that they were split on brining in DDG. Navas is a quality keeper, Madrid didn't want DDG that badly they wanted him to an extent. Perez is a marketing expert, Ronaldo Is massively important because of his claim as arguably the best player In the world. From Ronaldo Pov I can't see how.a move to Manchester can appeal to him. He left Manchester when they were the It club of the world alongside Barcelona. United is a shadow of their former selves. Ronaldo doesn't seem like a very sentimental person, wanting to go back because of emotional attachment to the club, fans, and city. PSG I could see if he ever left Madrid, which is highly unlikely at this point.

Changing managers have always brought a change in the positive direction. Well it is not guaranteed, but history is in favor of such move. Some would argue those teams were very heavy veteran team, but the team with Rafa it wasn't exactly much different from this one. Also the competition for 4th is not the same, we have less to fear. The usual contenders to break into the top four is Spurs and pool. Neither worry me, in fact missing out on the top 4 is not a concern with or without Mourinho. But I definitely see the pros if we get the manager we want, say Klopp is that man and he agrees to take over. You give him plenty of time to asses the squad and what we wants to build his team. Every manager uses their first season to asses and evaluate their players, no manager hardly ever makes a significant changes to the squad before seeing the team with his own tactics. so by waiting we delay the process.

In all honesty a draw would be a good result considering It is Porto away.
-
How would that have made a difference? A central midfielder to replace who? a lot of players are underperforming but Cesc ranks the highest alongside Ivanovic. Mou has shown no tendency or inclination to drop Cesc, as long as he is Playing I can hardly see improvement in midfield. Stones would have replaced Zouma, no chance of both starting. Come on no way Mou to drop both Cahill and Terry. TBF to Zouma he has been a bright side to our season, and Cahill has done a decent job. our CB duo ranks quite low in our short term concern. You are also taking for granted that these two signings would have played a lot, there is no guarantee of that. Just look at Baba, he is not even on the bench. I am curious who was this CM Mou wanted?
-
I personally will never succumb to this best manager argument, even if Mou is the best manager it doesn't mean he is the best manager for Chelsea. The correct thinking is what manager is best fit for Chelsea, not which manager accomplished the most. Barca won a treble with Luis Enrique, not a good manager for Roma. But great manager for Barca because of his personality and understanding of Barcelona. No question it is a better approach, a Ferrari is an amazing car. But it doesn't mean it is the best car if you need it for a long commute to work
-
It was more Newcastle tbh, when they scored 2 they pretty much shut it down and parked the bus. Gave Cesc all the time in the world on the ball.
-
Being one footed itsn't a problem though. Some of the greatest players have been guilty of being one footed. Strangely they were all left footed, actually that is not strange almost all lefties are quite poor with their right.
-
Yes I am a Chelsea fan. I am a football fan first though, I love to praise players that I like and i think it is warranted. My biggest pet peeves are delusional and extremely biased supporters, I can not tolarate it. I hardly ever criticize our players, I stay away from comparing Chelsea player vs Non Chelsea players. I actually do not like it. If I praise KDB I won't do it at the expense of bashing a player. I have stated my opinion on Mourinho many time, I am no less of a fan just because I do not believe him.
-
It is one game, Barca lost to Celta Vega. it happens to the best, it sure can happen to City. Just for the record just because I think City is the best in the league, does not mean I rate them. The whole league is mediocre, someone has to be the best. Who you think is the best in the league? But loses happen to anyone you just can't overact. Mou exactly overacted last season when we lost to the same team Spurs, completely changed his tactic and got scared because of one loss. Pellegrino at least recognizes his talent unlike Mou, so yeah I am sure he is happy. Mou also preferred Khedira over Modric in his last season at Madrid so he is not in bad company.
-
He is playing for the best team in England and playing under a more offensive oriented manager, Don't think he cares.
-
Only Bayern steamroll over everyone, maybe prime Dortmund did that at one point but not anymore. Bayern are good enough to steamroll EPL teams also. City and Chelsea certainly not good enough, can't do it here or in Bundesliga. To an extent I do agree lower teams are better in the PL but not significant or that it gives the league an overall edge. Bundesliga have done better overall, that is why they have higher coefficient. Chelsea relatively to a degree have done as much for the EPL. PL would have lost that 4th CL years ago if it wasn't for our EL+CL in recent years. I'll be honest I don't care for this topic I only replied out of respect. Let's agree to disagree.

Yes Yes. More importantly from a risk and reward standpoint of course. You paid almost the same amount for Martiel as Barca did for the best striker in the world Suarez. Martiel nowhere near as good as Suarez, now or possibly ever. If you think United are justified if Martiel becomes good eventually then lett me tell you an investing application. Say you bought a piece of property that was overvalued today and in 5 years the property equals or is greater. Can you say you were justified? Of course not because you paid for something that was overvalued and from a risk standpoint the reward was minimal. Same case in this situation United paid Martiel like he was the best striker in the world, and in 5 years he becomes the best striker you can't say you were justified because 5 years ago you took on massive risk. Btw he will play for Madrid in 5 years.
