I don’t see anything impressive about this Carney dude. From a trait standpoint nothing really stands out.
-
Let’s not ruin it.
-
One thing i really dislike about Chilwell is how he keeps lobbing the ball to an area where no one is at, its like he doesn’t understand the players we have, on the other hand James/RLC often looks to combine with our front three players which is much more effective.
-
I think RLC is a viable option at RWB, I would move for Maxwel Cornet for LWB.
-
40m for a guy who is sharing playing time with a 32 year old Damian is mad. Wtf do i know.
-
He isn’t even Inter outright first choice at RWB, it is questionable to say he is better than Emerson or Kennedy.
-
Denzel Dumfries is arguably the worst player we have been linked with, he will be a deadwood here.
-
I would; just go with KK and Silva at CB, play a back 4. There is enough quality in midfield between Jorginho, Kante, De Jong, Kovacic, Gallagher, and RLC to field 3 CMs at the same time. I think it is a no brainer.
-
I think Kennedy has looked better than Alonso and Emerson in those small appearances.
-
How about targeting him before he agreed personals terms and not on the eve of signing for PSG. We literally approached him when it was practically official he was heading to PSG. Like I said no plan
-
I feel like we are very indecisive who we want to sell. The only time I will give Lukaku any credit is when he demanded to be sent back to Inter. If he was not adamant about leaving he would still probably be here. Selling CHO on a permanent basis would probably one of my least preferences.

Not sure your post was a Tuchel endorsement or what. Lol He is just boring to me, neither the risk taker or creative as Klopp and Pep. RLC offered much more in WB than anything Azpi has on the pitch, but he still plays Azpi. Another player that is not Chelsea quality is Sarr, yet we saw him more than we had to. why are we playing with 3 CBs when there are not 3 of them that deserve to be on the pitch? A more logical manager would field Kovacic, Jorginho, and Kante at the same time because you know they are 3 of our best players. Btw I am not talking about this game, because this is a friendly. But I anticipate more 3 CB system, where we get to see a lot of Sarr, Chalobah, and Azpi.

It is his fault for perusing players that he couldn’t convince lol. We wasted incredible time this window chasing players that wanted either go elsewhere or stay at the their current club. Could have targeted Kounde from the get go, he would probably be a Chelsea player. Maybe prioritized Dembele. Also lack of outgoing players. look at Conte he made it clear he wouldn’t waste time on players he didn’t want. Meanwhile Tuchel is wasting time with Bats, Barkley, Sarr, and Kennedy. I am tired of the constant Tuchel aplologist on here, it’s never his fault. It’s either the players fault or the people above him, no accountability. Truth is if City won the CL final, people would look at his time here very uninspiring.
-
I largely think this window has been terrible due to Tuchel being in charge, it seems we lack a consistent plan and vision.
-
His contract expires in 2023 though. Fair price would be K2 type money.
-
feels more of the same issues, 3rd place is probably the ceiling. i don’t understand the point of Alonso, why not try RLC or Gallagher at that position? We saw a lot of Alonso he is awful. I am so bored of Tuchel, he is neither great at identifying players or finding creative solutions to the team.
-
What is wrong with you?
-
I think a loan would be ideal, still only 21. Consistent playing time would do him well.
-
@LAM09 Girvinho at one point was tearing it up at Roma too. Salah has incredibly exceeded expectations at Pool, his first season at Pool he scored more goals than his entire time in Serie A.
-
Imo Klopp has nothing to prove, he has taken two clubs to their peak. Liverpool is overarching, if they can maintain this it would be remarkable. I consider Klopp to be the best manager in the world, I am with @Henrique when Klopp leaves Pool they will fall off drastically. If Pep leaves City, they would still be equally dangerous because they have money.
-
Say what you say is true. Gotze was phenomenal under Klopp, Salah was a flop at Chelsea and was nothing special in Serie A. Who knows how Pulisic would have been under Klopp. If Klopp leaves Pool they will go back to fighting 4-6. Klopp has a vast list of maximizing players at two different clubs. Saying Michael Edwards has played a bigger role in Pool success is one of the ridiculous statement on this board, absolute insane comment.
-
The success is credit to Klopp, he is the best at getting the most out of players. He has numerous examples at Dortmund and Liverpool.
-
Pau Torres gets a lot of hate here, but he is quality. Arguably the best passing CB out there. He is like Christensen but without being big bitch.
-
Tuchel doesn’t look like the answer, we are getting worse and worse under him.
-
Mendy is way too poor on the ball for a team that wants build from the back on a consistent basis.
