  1. I am seeing an evolution from Ruben, he is much more combative and fighting for loose balls and winning them.
  2. Our assessment is different on Jorginho, if you think he is upgradable and better options available that is fine. My point at the very least is resign Jorginho, and bring in enforcement.
  3. Remember being linked, after 30 seconds of watching clips i was like nah.
  4. World of difference man, you can say that about any position on the field. You can reduce Modric ability on the ball to Bakayoko to a great degree using the same thought process.
  5. I was told playing players out of position is not a thing.
  6. What is the player comparison? Because that really turns me off, because he doesn’t have the speed acceleration and 1 vs 1 that is typically found in successful wide/inverted wingers.
  7. I think Kepa will benefit a lot under Potter, no way Potter will tolerate a keeper like Mendy who is so poor on the ball and building from the back. Kepa just needs to be solid.
  8. Not popular opinion, but i do not rate him. Type of player that really looks bang on average if you take away his goals.
  9. Huge fan of him, i would love him here. I am not deterred by his injury, he has good pace but his game is more about dribbling, close control, creativity, vision, etc.
  10. Florian Wirtz, is a perfect fit for Pep system. Can see him being Bernardo Silva long term replacement.
  11. I don’t know if Potter is the solution, but I knew Tuchel was not for a while. Give Potter some time, I like the fact he is not rigid as Tuchel.
  12. I think i like the approach of hiring a coach then have him in the decison of hiring a technical director, allows the coach a full backing, and allows them to be on the same page.
  13. Biggest concern is teams didn’t play against Brighton in a low block, that would be the norm against Chelsea.
  14. Give Boehly a chance, give him the opportunity to run the club like he envisioned when he bought the club. Tuchel was never going to be the long term manager here, not only is he not good enough but more importantly he was not chosen by the new ownership. What did you guys expect? Tuchel was always going to end up just like every manager Roman hired. He did his job, thank you for the CL.
  15. We get it you want the Glazers like ownership.
  16. Bravo TB, Tuchel had an immediate spark and was a great hire at the time. But it was clear as of last season, that he peaked and his trajectory was only going down. seriously if Tuchel wasn’t fired today, how else would have this ended? The only thing we would have seen is rock bottom. He wasn't capable of turning this around.
  17. Get over it Tuchel is not as good of a manager as some you think he is. People forget that he needed Leicester to bottle it very badly for him to secure a top 4. He is headed toward the RDM route, manage a few German clubs and get sacked. Complete obscurity. Neither is Rudigar, his form dipped toward the end of last season. He would have not changed anything. If you want to know what he would have looked like, just look at Mendy. People forget he was here for 5 years, only remember less than 12 months of his club football. Key word club because the regular Rudigar is average with German NT.
  18. I thought you would be happy that Tuchel is gone?
  19. I am not surprised, just like Maina, Buck, Cech, etc were let go. I imagined Boehly also wanted his own manager. I think Tuchel was a better fit for the old regime, virtually every manager they hired was with the view of short term. Tuchel was no exception, he was no team builder. I am not sure about Potter, hope we don’t hire him because he is readily available.
  20. Luis Enrique would be my top choice, wait after the World Cup.
  21. I am not a reactionary person, I was very critical of Tuchel before the season even started. Living off a CL run.
  22. How about Luis Enrique? He pretty much did what Pep did at Barca but with a better winning percentage.
  23. Sarri was playing good football by the end of the season, he just needed a few more players. His trajectory was up, Tuchel trajectory has been down for a while.
