Tuchel plays not to lose, even with a striker less Everton he plays with 3 CB. There is just not enough players creating danger.

Azpi should not be starting, this is my biggest problem with Tuchel he is so inflexible. You have enough players to play a different formation, but you chose a starting XI to include one of the worst players on the squad.

Cucurella is much more rounded than Alonso from an attacking perspective; better at carrying the ball, against the press, passer, and linking up. That adds a lot more to the overall team. I do agree with your point on Chilly.

Virtually every team that won the CL has played with 4atb, and pretty much the norm formation for top teams. Even Nagelsmann who heavily used similar formation changed to 4atb at Munich.

5 atb is a gimmick and is limited.

Pogba had elite long shots go along with his technical and physical ability. He is 18, he could easily recoup the transfer fee. I think it is a solid signing anyway.
