I advocated for Ronaldo last summer, because he is everything what pro Lukaku fans thought he would be. I would take Ronaldo if it makes financial sense, he is going to score 20+ league goals. Our team has much more work rate and runners on this team than United.

From my understanding Dembele wants 11-12m basically his current wages, Barca are offering 6m. On a free transfer i am willing to pay those wages, although maybe somewhere around 9m would be enough. Also consider Werner getting 14.5m, so getting rid of him more than pays itself.

Our roster much more suited to a back 4 with Rudi, AC, and Dave pretty much nowhere the player he once was. Only player that really benefits from a 3CB is Silva who will be 38 at the start of next season, at his age rotation is probably the best he can handle.

Good points, but I was talking in general how posters here mention how this squad doesn’t fit what Tuchel wants and there seem to no to little indication what player he wants in and out are.
