Not really feeling that Bowie was all for doing your own thing. I think he would roll in his grave thinking about it. He was about taking a fashion and putting your own spin on it. Like all the best fashions are. Ziggy would def be one of my desert island disks

Good girl You 'ave got more of a better breeding wot I've got! But for this bit 'I want us to DOMINATE' we are of the same Blue DNA
-
YEP! We have our present and future best players both fucking about with us not signing contract renewals. What are we doing about it apart from sweeeping it under the carpet and ignoring it.i We have always had strong defenders and I couldn't see owt he did tonight was overboard
-
YES NO Who says we listen to ya
-
Fuck me some peeps are hard to please!! Bring back Mou!

Leave her alone and watch the game then

I was just looking at this season - so far. 1 goal - but 2 A's Ive always liked him ,mate, not slagging him off I would have swapped Morata for Higuain or Dzeko in a heartbeat Its just time we concentrated on ANYONE that we coud use to score goals cause the Jan sales are 3 months away and we can expect more of this I'm afraid.
-
Just what wee need A new defender and Cescy. Wheres the goal scorers
-
Hes not a big goal scorer tho
-
Fuckin wank PAOK. Only good thing is that its giving AC and Rudi practice time.
-
What this game shows is our total lack of scoring goals. Its all well amd good to have 90% posession but whats the fuckin point if not one of them can put the ball in the net It might spur the board on to do summet about it.
-
Whatever happens this match shows how much we need a goal scorer. I dont give a fuck he is, where hes from, the team hes in or his price. We need someone who doesn't need a GPS to score.

Diego was his own worse enemy. He was worse than the Snake when it comes down to it. And if any other player had done the shit he pulled then every Blues would be screaming for his balls. So tho I absolutely loved the guy I understand Conte had to do what he did and I dont think the board backed him nearly strong enough. If they had come out and said we back Conte and if the players dont like it they can fuck off it would have shut the fuck up from Luiz,Willian etc and the whole Jan to March fiasco might not have happened. But as usual we went into something half cocked instead of 100% which is why I'm still a bit skeptical about Sarri. Just keep remembering Conte year 1 and the football we played and how well the lads played. Thers a very fine line between love and hate and all it takes is for a player to not like the way hes treated or a shit result. And you know that day will come eventually. The proof will be how we handle it.

Just goes against the grain Willian as captain. Fuckin unbelievable. I'm pissed. Literally!

Kevin Mbabu I dont know if anyone watched the Young Boys v Manure game but the lad had a good one. Hes strong as an ox and fast as hell. He left Fred on his arse a couple of times. Date of Birth: 19.04.1995 (22 years old) Position: Right Back Team: BSC Young Boys Country: Switzerland Value: 2.250.000 € Contract Until: 30.06.2020 Height: 1.84 m Preferred Foot: Right Profile Melingo Kevin Mbabu was born in Switzerland, as a child of a Congolese mother. He began his career at Servette FC’s youth team. In 2012, he promoted to the senior team and at the same year he made his professional debut at the match against Lausanne-Sport. In January 2013, Newcastle United signed him for 1M€. From that date, he played 26 games in total with the senior (three of them was Premier League match) and reserve teams. In addition, he was loaned to Scottish-side Glasgow Rangers in February to July 2015, but he couldn’t find a chance to play in that team. After that, he was loaned to BSC Young Boys in August, 2016. This move has changed his career into a positive way. Following his good performance in first year with the team, YB has completed Mbabu’s transfer in the last summer transfer window. From his first transfer to YB to today, he has played 51 games with 4 goals and 9 assists. The Swiss player had previously played in the national team’s U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 youth teams and he has no senior team experience yet. But we can say that Mbabu, who has a very consistent and high-quality rival like Michael Lang in front of him, can play in the national team in proportion to his performance in coming years. Mbabu has been playing mostly as right back in 4-defense formation in Young Boys for two seasons. Even if he played as a right wing back in 3-defense formation in few matches before, we should note that he used to play as right back. Strengths (Athletic Physique, Challenges, Tackling, Crossing) Athletic Physique: We can clearly say that his most attracting skill is his athleticism. Mbabu can be effective both in defense and offense thanks to his physics (184 cm and 80 kg), speed, power, agility and dynamism. Challenges: One of the most important advantages of Mbabu’s athletic physique is the success rate of his challenges. Mbabu has an obvious advantage over his opponents in challenges. He wins 61% of 21 challenges and 71% of 4,4 air challenges per match. With the help of his power and speed, he shows success in challenges. Also with the help of his agility and jumping ability, he does not lose air challenges easily. Tackling: His another strength in defense is his tackling ability. He can react quickly to opponent wingers’ dribbling attempts. The Swiss player, who has powerful sliding tackles, can also make very effective interceptions. The fact that we should focus on about his tackles that he has very high success rate in his tackles: 4.8 tackle attempts per game with 80% success rate. Crossing: The young player draws attention with his ability to play and contribute both side of the play. At the most of the games that his team dominates the game and create pressure over opponent, his heat map intensifies on 2nd and 3rd zone of the pitch. As a result of that, he can get opportunity to make offensive actions. For instance, he cross the ball 5 times per match with 30% accuracy. Besides, he tries 2 key passes per game and deliver 60% of them successfully. Dribbling: His another offensive ability is his dribblings. He has much more powerful dribbling skill than an average right-back. Owing to that, he attempts to dribble 6 times per game and completes 55% of them. So, there is no doubt that Mbabu can strengthen his manager’s hand in offensive actions. Weaknesses: (Concentration, Positioning, Short Pass Quality) Concentration: Kevin Mbabu has concentration problem from time to time during the game and this can cause a handicap, especially in defensive side. Depending on this problem, he can be more likely to make mistakes. But we have to mention that when his first times at YB, he had been facing this problem more. So, he has been improving himself about this day by day. Positioning: As a consequence of his concentration problem, we can testify that sometimes the young footballer can face with difficulty to take position in defense. In positional opponent attacks, especially when an opponent player uses the “half-space” area, he can lose his position and he cannot defend opponent player as how he exactly has to. Besides, in some positions, after he supports to his teams attack, he can get in trouble to turn back in defense, particularly in opponent counter-attacks. But it should be noted that he usually reacts well when it comes to turn back to defense, when the opponent team attempts to make counter-attacks. Short Pass Quality: The last thing we have to point out that he has to improve his short pass quality. He plays with average 75% of pass accuracy per game. One of the important reasons why his pass accuracy is not higher than 75% that, he sometimes cannot deliver the short passes to his teammates because he cannot adjust the quality of his passes. If he improves the severity, angle and efficiency of his short passes, it will be a positive development for his career progress. Similar Players: Michael Lang, Kyle Walker The 22 year-old defender shows similarities with Basel’s right back Michael Lang in terms of the contribution to the both sides of pitch, dominance of the challenges and playing style. Also Mbabu’s dynamism, effectiveness in offensive actions and agility reminds us Manchester City’s successful player Kyle Walker, even if they’re not at the same level.

Chelsea striker ‘in talks’ over joining another Premier League side
Unionjack replied to James's topic in Chelsea Articles
Pikeys wanted him on loan in the summer. They got delusions of grandeur or what? -
We are going to take a big hit off him if we manage to sell him. I just hope our lovely board realize the shit we are in striker wise and have been getting in players heads telling them how much we need them. I know its going to be nigh on impossible to get anyone decent in the Jan sales but at least they can be doing all the ground work.
-
Diego also went many weeks without scoring and I recall many on here jumping down his throat. Wouldnt it be great to have hust 1 striker who kept his form. He doesn't have to be a 40 goal machine but 1 every 2 games with some assists chucked in would come in handy.
-
That was a good week. We then went across the bridge to have a chat with the angels after the night before when they kicked off but they wouldn't come out to play.

Twice hes told Sarri hes tired Tired Eden Hazard excused Europa League duty by Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/chelsea-eden-hazard-why-not-playing-paok-europa-league-maurizio-sarri-a8545651.html What we have to remember about Eden guys is dont get excited about this hat trick. It was a one off. We all should know by now he isn't a goal machine and we really can't rely on him to be one. The main objectives in our immediate future is to BUY GOALS. Wherever they are going to come from it needs sorting out urgently or we are going to be fucked. Clubs know our weaknesses and Eden is one. If they double mark him it takes our goals down a lot. Not thru him scoring or even asists but the other ways he helps. One thing he does need to work on is his continuasl reliance on over dribbling. It doesn't help the team working the way we are iunder Sarri.

Always the same. Couple of pissed supporters late at night get jumped by locals. Chelsea fans attacked in Thessaloniki by group of thugs ahead of PAOK Europa League clash The Blues supporters were in the centre of Thessaloniki when a band of five locals turned violent https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/7302455/chelsea-fans-thessaloniki-paok-europa-league/

Further to the comment I was going to make to @Vesper in the match thread Just imagine an end full of them. We have gone far too reserved, conservative (small c) in England. Its like 'THEY' have won and there's no extremes any more. No bright colors - just magnolia. There needs to be another - some sort of rebellion - fashion wise, music wise, drug wise. With every new subculture - underground youth culture, there is a drug equated to it. With the 60s flower children they had their cannabis, acid, the Mods, skinheads, punks had their speed, the Casuals, ravers their MDMA,acid, ketamine etc When the totally amazing places Shoom and Boys Own started up you just felt that it was going to be massive, almost like a religeous experience tho I'm agnostic. You had the coming together of all walks of life. The footy lads that liked a scrap rubbing shoulders and hugging doctors etc. All very loved up and not shy to say so. It was an amazing open secret and tho the cops and councils were pissed off we carried on fighting the system sometimes literally. All was fine until of course the media and commercialization got their money grabbing hands on it. All the bright lovely colors turned to green! I dint condone the use of drugs but at the same time thees been some very expressive and creative, clever people spring forth from these different times. But for too long now there has been no new underground youth culture. The last good one was the ravers. Lots of bright colors, very expressive, creative peeps. Everybody completely wasted, having a great time, no trouble whatsoever. Since then theres been nothing. Mediocrity There just seems to be middle of the road, average, everywhere we look Nobody stands out from the crowd any more. Not sure if this is just happening in the West as a whole or Britain but I really think its time for some sort of change. Some color, a bit of chaos, anarchy.
