They didn't have anyone in the team who could see what the team was needing to do and above all have the character, strength or above all the ability to say to a lad, someone like Kane that he needed to do such n such . Tell him he needs to be doing more of this or that. Someone that can do the managers job on the pitch. You can't tell me that anyone apart from Dave can do that job as well as Jorginho. Mate It makes no difference how long a players been with us if he can do a job. To me he has the trust of ALL of the lads, definitely the managers, and he is already basically doing the job without the armband. Tell me who of 'the oldies' has that ability and character to do this job?

Way I look at it is look at Kovacic. Would you say that he was a bad player? One that wouldn't be able to play back in Spain IF we were unlucky enough as to NOT buy him? Not all players loaned out are crap. I'm not up on Benficas team but as they are on top of their league they must have thought they had a surplus of players and the best thing for him and them was a loan/ And hes on fire. And 1st time we went I was 17 in 75. I never tried Feni I suppose till the mid to late 90s. We had been drinking Bhang all day along with a few E's and a bottle of mushroom juice so you can imagine the scene when our mate that owned the bar brought over a bottle of Feni. It didn't have a label so might have been homebrew which I found out later is sometimes cut with battery acid and industrial alcohol. But he was a good mate so I'm sure it was cool.
