We all know that we have some lads in the academy that are showing promise. They look like they will have long careers in professional football. But playing for the TOP clubs for any of them is a step that only 1 or 2 will make. Look at our academy over the last few years. They have kinda dominated England and dome great across Europe but none of them have progressed to the majors. I'm a firm believer that cream comes to the top and no matter what club a player goes to on loan whatever hes going to shine and stand out if hes got that class. Thats one reason they do go out on loans. Ideally it is to get them experience so WE can use them but we know more often than not is to hopefully catch the medias eye so we can make money on them. Take a look at the lads in the academy. To me they look like what they are. Kids. They have some skills, they got some speed etc but they dont have the bulk, footballing minds or the worldliness to make it in Chelsea. Of course every single one of us would love our academy to be the Chelsea apprenticeship and for them to graduate into the 1st team squad but realistically we must celebrate if we manage to get 1 every now n then. But its not to say they wont make good careers in other clubs.

With Mou putting Kennedy in LB with Bane still on the pitch owt can happen. I see him being played. Mou wouldnt have kept him on for 5 years like this on different loans and bring him back into the squad for him not to play. I'd be very suprized if he wasn't.

We all know the lad will wake up from the deep sleep hes in at the moment thats obvious but we need him to be there when we need him not when hes on his man menstral cycle All the lads just seem to be acting like zombies and we need someone to set the bar a bit higher and shake the rest up. And with Eden our most creative lad along with Cescy with them missing we are buggered. I have a bad feeling. I see us losing him. IF we fail to make Europe next season I see Eden looking towards Spain. Hes a young very sharp lad with no matter what hes saying now, a truck load of ambition plus an ego to match Mix that with the club will be wanting to buy our way out of trouble and getting as much for him as they can. (Which would be silly with us losing our best player) But in that scenario Im afraid I can see it happen

And I might agree with some of it if Hazard was some young publicity naive kid but he isn't. He loves the spotlight and being the center of attention, he thrives on it. I'd love for him to be dead selfish with a pair of blinkers on and nothing else in his head than scoring a goal. Cause right now hes dead on the field. Hes lathargic and apethetic and as our most creative player hes offering nowt. Agree mate.

And I'm afraid its the sort of attitude the team has in general. We lack a killer instinct ac goal scorers and in the final 3rdl. Instead of wanting to go out and rub oppositions nose in it and rip them a new one they just want to score a goal and sit back. I dont know if this is something that Mou has trained into them or if it comes as part of being trained to defend at all costs. Or if its just the type of players we seem to be buying. We just seem to umm and ahhh when it comes to the final crunch. Yet we bloody know they do have it in them cause there was days we put a few in the net. WTF happened?

Do we know what the outside materials are going to be? In the new photos it looks very metalic or glass like but in earlier ones it looks brick.

This is a good thread. Instead of going to different players threads. I just found this and when you look at it its actually a team that could do pretty well in the PL.

Just been watching all I could on the lad. Looks a great prospect. Someones going to get a great young player. We do have alot of good lads out on loan this season all getting the playing time they need we just cant guve them. But next year they will be that 1 year fitter,stronger,wiser and coming back home. We got no idea what next year will bring. I think most of our academy is similar. They look like kids TBH. Thats why I am weary of sticking them in the 1st team. Apart from RLC and hes opposite. Big and clumsy IMHO of course.

Thats been my thoughts for awhile. Even tho Im not the biggest fan of using big numbers of our academy into the 1st team I do like the idea of breaking 1 or 2 in very gradually. But I do like the idea of bringing in GOOD young players that can gel,grow and be together along time. Thats why I didnt care how much we had to spend to bring in Stones/Varane and Pogba. I know we have had a shite transfer but we did get a good keeper who I would trust in the CL and a very good RAM thats going to help alot. We got Kenedy who is going to be our very own Hulk if used properly and he deserves to be used. Traore with his new work permit will get his chance this season,Baba who looks very useful which helps with Dave. Diji and Hector I dont know sod all about but Diji will get a look in I feel and Hector is cheap as chips and who knows might be worth a gamble if Mou will take more than 10 mins to watch him. I know its going to take some time this year to get going and I will be happy as a pig in shit if we came 4th. But if we keep our cool and do come 4th I can see next summer being complete opposite to this one. Its all swings and roundabouts. Its just sometimes difficult to keep our heads when its all going Pete Tong. Me Ill be shouting my damned fool head off no matter what. I just see a few cross words with opposition supporters coming up.
