I feel sorry for the lad. Hes very obviously NOT a Conte signing and hes got absolutely no faith in him. If I was Bats I know I'd be feeling well and truly pissed off and I'd be looking for somewhere the 1st chance I got.

I know our youth/ loan system isn't perfect and has its problems but it must be very disheartening for a lad coming thru our academy or for any young skilled much desired player we buy full of potentiial. Some of these lads coming out of the academy have been with us since they were 8 years old. Theyve gone training with one dream which is to play at The Bridge with the players they idolize in the 1st team. Only to find out that we very rarely have them in the squad and if we do then they wont get played. I'm in 2 minds about this. I think that OK IF we dont use them then we have given them a good training and IF they are any good then they will be good at any other club they join. So if they go on loan to a 'lesser' club they should rightly stand out thus getting media attention and either coming back to us or A.N. Other similar team. By rights they should end up at a club equal to their skill level. But we also know theres alot of luck invoved. Finding a manager that you catch their eye who has that trust in you and takes the gamble. So like in Moses case there were alot of us that saw his potential each pre season and was waiting for summet to happen. Well its like that with alot of our 'youth' loanees. Ive always liked Traore,Kenedy,Ake,Christensen and ones like Abraham,Musonda,Baker have grown on me. But we really got to stop overhyping them. What we have done to RLC IMHO put us back youth wise a long way. Its given the kids the impression that they too deserve it. They will get the £60k a week and the pictures o the web for basically doing nowt.. But the thing is they have to make the most of their opportunities WHEN theyre given. This year we got Aina,Challobah,RLC come thru with of course Moses off the loanabout. Ainas done OK but needs alot more time. I like Cholobah alot and think he deserves some greenhouse attention and he could be great for us. But IMHO RLC just doesn't cut it. (YET??) I think hes one of those cases where a loan or 2 would do him the world of good. But have we left that too late? I think maybe time to sell him (with a buy back clause?) and take some knocks in the media. Theres other lads that would give their left dangley to have RLCs chances. and I just dont think hes taken his. Lets see come the summer whether Conte takes advantage of a couple of very useful young defenders coming back or he decides to buy in. It will give us some idea how hes thinking..

Should be a no brainer. This is the problems we face with lack of rotation. We are going to use a good but game rusty striker and a combination of central midfielders that havent got much playing time together. And watch IF Bats doesn't score. He will get shredded on here.I I think Cescy behind Chalobah and Matic with Eden next to Bats in a 3 5 2 would be good but maybe Chalobah wsill have enough creativity with Matic in a 3 4 3?? Id like to see Happy start getting some more time too but maybe that will start next gane? We shall see eh. But I just hope we go out pumped up and not TOO relaxed. Tou just know that they want to beat this record just as much as we want it. It would go along way confidence wise without 2 of our main lads.

I could never see us using a 17 yr old as our number 1 keeper in a month of sundays. Maybe as our 3rd choice in a cup game against a sunday league team. I understand a twats a twat no matter how old they are nut its very hard to change a clubs perspective. We know that in this day and age with training and phyysicians like they are that players CAN remain fit well into their 30s yet we still give them yearly contracts. And coiunt the players say under 20 thats been regular starters for us, And IN GENERAL I would rather have a seasoned complete player over a teenager. Yes I know in Donnarummas case hes got plenty of experience and Ifrom what Ive seen of him Id trust gim in our goal no problem.

Kinda my thoughts exactly. I wasn't sure whether he just had one of those sad long faces. They type who find it difficult to show emotion but someone once said on here they knew him asnd he was happy at school, so I put it down to not being happy with his surroundings. But last couple of months (since we have been winning) he has actually seemed better. Celebrating goals on his own with nobody round cant be easy lol And I see him fist the club badge once which is basic I know but something I like to see. Hes not a bad keeper and if he WANTS to stay then I'm right behind him. If not then yeah, like you, spend 1/2 on new keeper and spunk the rest on someone else (OR we could use him in some swap deal for Kroos )

We really do need soime creativity. With Cescy arguably our most creative and Contes reluctance to use him often we are crying out for some. Id like us to get a faster more defence abled Cescy (IF possible). But IMHO I think we need a really hot RW more. Just look how long we have neen saying we need a proper ballance for Eden. IF we had some similar copy over on the left defences wouldn't know who to mark and there would be lotsa spare room with the WBs staying wide I dont see the Don as a manager that buys big expensive players so I really cant think who HE would opt for.. Is that midfielder a Attacking RW one or a CentralDM/AM one? I think we need both. I dont see why not if the right player we need is available. Like I just said I dont see Conte as a buyer of big household names sadly so these next 2 windows will give us a big clue as to which way he wants to take us. Thats exactly what I keep asking bud. But 'they' keep saying that we change to a 3 5 2 during the game sometimes and Eden fits behind the 2 strikers. But surely thatsa a 3 4 1 2 There could be many different combinations but one I like is 3 1 4 2 with Cescy behind Matic/N'Golo and Eden with Diego. But I think I like the 3-4-3 better. I suppose it all depends on our shopping list these next 2 windows. 2 things really about this. 1. Wengers contract runs out next season so who is going to take over> It worries me that Simeones contract also runs out the same time! 2. Is Conte the sort of manager who buys signature expensive world class players or is it all about buying whoever it is he thinks fits us? I agree mate. I had high hopes for him and had visions of playing alongside Diego prtesuming we was going the 3-5-2 route. I still got faith in the lad and want to see him do his bollox against Bournemouth. But I hope he doesn't get called all the names under the sun if he fails to have a good game considering all ther masny minutes hes come on as sub for us. I still dont think his transfer had anything to do with Conte. Its has all the signs of a board buy and a clear waste of £30mill. IF we aren't gonna utilise him it would be better to get our money back and let Conte buy someone who he could at least trust to use or at the best push Diego to stay at his best. I know its extremely hard for our 2nd striker to get time when Diegos playing so well but 2 mins here n there is daft. It wouldnt hurt to give him 10 to 20 mins once we have a games under control. This is why I can never see us buying another top striker and think it would be much better for us to goto that North London club with £60mill and try to get Sanchez and stick him on RW. That would make an amazing top line.
