Its really hard to think in those types of numbers. I dont care who you are it would be very difficult to turn that sort of money down. Specially coming from playing on the streets like Diego. But then £200k isn't nothing to sniff at plus being somewhere you are loved by all with a shit hot club, a manager that hugs you with realisticv ambitions of silverware. A big choice.
-
How do you think Mou/Pep would work out taking over a club like say Hull fighting for relegation with nowhere near the bufget theyre used to?
-
Theres loadsa pubs really close to the ground mate. Even the ones full of scouse gits are safe. Even more fun actually cause theres loads of pisstaking and singing at each other. I think the one we aim for near the ground is called the Arkles mainly away fans but I like staying in the City. You will see lots of Blues hanging around pubs in this square on Mathew Street Its cool up there mate specially if you go up wearing shirt etc. Bin dippers are all gobby. Walk round like you own the place

Kinda what I think too. We all know how working with the right manager makes all the difference to a player and with the Dons defensive mind I do think he could work wonders with him. But I'd never think twice to paying £60mill for him. £40 maybe and £10 of that is for the HG tag. Im looking forward to seeing just what the Don does when Christensen comes back. Big decisions coming guys!

Sounds like a Conte player then
-
So do the RELIABLE media etc think that Conte has interest or any communications gone on? Theres so many reports saying we are iterested on players only to have their manager say no contact has been made.
-
I think mate this is one problem we have. Our top 3 dont get fed the balls enough. Eden a few games now has been quiet. Mainly because hes not been getting the ball. We need more creativity behind them to make sure they do get fed.
-
I know you dont like the idea of paying big sums out for players but Ive always believed in you get what you pay for (NORMALLY) I think if the club sees a player that we know would fit and iwould make us a better team then we should do all thats possible to get him Payers dont grow up thinking they must play for us no matter how good we are or what we win so the only option we have is to dig deep and pay up for them. We must aim as high as we can and not just setytle for 2nd/3rd best. IMHO anyway.

Would hurt me to see him go.Ive got quite attatched to the old boy in his time with us. It was that initial bromance with Cescy and that fuckin amazing goal against those north London wankers that made me get a semi on. I really dont want to see him go. My heart says Pay him the £300 but my brain tells me summet totally ifferent.

Glad its not just me getting double posts. Thought it was me with a dodgy link. Easy for you to say lol I didn't understand a word of it sorry to say. I dont know owt about him but the guy seems like hes got the right equipment. Would you all trust him week in week out to lead the line fighting for European domination?
-
Wonder if China want him? Thing I dont get is if they gave us £60mill for Oscar then why are they only offering £80 for the Beast! Diego in China would be one of the biggest shocks in world football and would open the floodgates I think. And for whatever club there buys him it would put them firmy on the map for a future world league. It will happen one day.

With these links to Mounure not going away I hope the club is doing all we can to find us a top CDM. I would prefer to get one to work alongside both N'Golo AND Matic but IF we do have to lose him Id tell Mou to bugger off!! Jose Mourinho sees Nemanja Matic transfer as key as Antoine Griezmann's plus other Manchester United news http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/jose-mourinho-nemanja-matic-transfer-antoine-griezmann-manchester-united-news-rumours-latest-a7529351.html

You cant help but feel for the lad. He seemed like a great fit for us when he came and I was looking foreward to seeing him join up with Diego. But it must kill him not to have the trust of the manager. Tho Conte does continue to say hes happy with him. If Contes man management skills were as good as we think they are then he needs to get the lad bouncing again. I dunno what the answer is but IF it comes down to us passing him on lets hope we dont lose out on him and bow and say thanks to wankers like PSG who want him just to sit and warm their bench instead of ours! PSG should target Michy Batshuayi loan move from Chelsea as a priority http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/soccer-usa/3/post/3039864/psg-should-target-michy-batshuayi-loan-move-from-chelsea-as-a-priority

IF we have to replace him Id happily take Lukaku. Just throw in a shit hot RW a tougher stronger defensive Cescy, a upgrade for Cahill and a backup/upgrade if possible for the WBs and we would do a good run in Europe.
-
It was a great weekend for us apart from Costagate. I hate Mounure but right now I can see Shitty and them red North London lot being 5 and 6. We have to play 7 from the current top 12 teams away yet so lets hope the away support is as good as we had it today. Gotta get ourselves heard out there guys.

EDIT sorry - no idea why treble post must be dodgy comms

EDIT sorry double post please delete

Well the story started at The Times and while theyre still media and have their own agendas they are normally a 'news' paper or always were. But they dont say where they got the spiel from. Would the club bring Costa into the office without his agent to offer him the £200k and 2 year extension? I dont know how that works. I'm hoping its all bollox. BUT do we really want Roman keeping him training with the B team for spite as it will send the team into chas. I dont like the idea of any player holding us to ransome and normally a 'iif you dont want to be here then fuck off'' guy. But hes got a big pair of boots that would need filling and I love the guy. I hope we manage to find his equal if necessary.
-
Its time we let the guy go. He will never be in a full Blue kit and sadly never met his full potential we thought he might. Good luck to him/
-
We got Bayern making direct contact with the guy now. So it must be possible to turn the lads head. I bloody hope we are at least trying! Bayern Munich make Marco Verratti their priority target as Carlo Ancelotti personally calls the PSG midfielder http://metro.co.uk/2017/01/16/bayern-munich-make-marco-verratti-their-priority-target-as-carlo-ancelotti-personally-calls-the-psg-midfielder-6383732/#ixzz4VvHAkJTQ

I know that the majority of names linked with us are crap media clickers and we just dont attract big names like Mounure but Id rather be linked with a household name than some 3rd rate pleb. Much better to be wound up by a class player hahaha

Tho I would give my left dangley for Griezmann I can see its a hopeless task and I shall soon call him 'that Rag cunt'. But I can see Lukaku doing well with us. Hes got this determination to emulate Drogs and I see him NO|W doing whatever it took to be a success here. And while I think that Pedro has been great these past couple of months a top class RW would ballance us more. We put Kroos or Sanchez there and give him the freedom AMD fed the balls then wee would basically give us 3 strikers up there. A Eden - Lukaku - Kroos/Sanchez would be scary. While if we wasn't intent on dominating Europe and be happy as a mid table club I'd be happy using Mussonda/Abraham as backups but we are so we need to set our goals for buying players as high as possible but making sure of course they fit Conte.

Costa rejected £200k offer before bust-up http://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/costa-rejected-200k-offer-before-bust-up-xg9tjlfxs Diego Costa rejected the offer of a new contract at Chelsea before last week’s bust-up with manager Antonio Conte. Chelsea are believed to have offered Costa a five-year deal worth £200,000 a week — a £50,000 weekly increase on his existing wages — but the striker was unwilling to commit himself to the club. The Spaniard has since received a staggering counter-offer from Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian worth £570,000 a week, which Chelsea officials fear has turned his head. Conte claimed that Costa’s absence from Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday evening was solely because of a back injury, although other sources are convinced that his reluctance to train is connected to the offer he has received from China. Costa has some sympathy from his team-mates, who believe that he does have a genuine back problem, although he is giving off mixed messages. He is understood to have told some team-mates that he is committed to Chelsea and wants to stay, while contradicting himself in other conversations by expressing a desire to move to China. Such volatility is not unusual for Costa, who has previously expressed both contentment and unhappiness at living in London. His mood swings have given Chelsea problems, with his real intentions unclear. There are two schools of thought at Stamford Bridge: that he wants to move or that he is using Tianjin’s interest to gain an improved offer. Chelsea are reluctant to offer more than £200,000 a week, and talks have been placed on hold after last week’s training-ground row. Costa will not be allowed to leave this month even with Tianjin willing to pay an £80 million transfer fee. Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner, will not sanction a sale. Conte is planning to reintegrate Costa into his squad, although it is unclear how long that process will take.
