Too early to judge, and a lack of match fitness means he came off worse that he otherwise would.
-
Holy shit I am the teacher
-
If someone can find me a pic of him dancing to One Step Beyond at the Shed my sig will be complete forever.
-
Yeah absolutely. Have to say I do prefer adidas kits generally over Nike ones though. NB I'm definitely getting a home Terry kit for next season.
-
I'm broke mate but I wish the lad good luck and a full recovery!
-
Yep. Then there's the people who actually worry what other fans think about us. Boring boring Chelsea? Good one. United fans clearly don't remember in 07/08 when they broke the record low of points to win the title - 75; and they have the nerve to call us dull. The simple fact is that when you're winning it's entertaining no matter what. Personally the defensive masterclass I watched vs Arse was a spectacle in itself. 2 more buys -and some effective cup squad management- and we have the ability to win the quadruple. Playing the same XI to death kept us unbeaten until Dec, and unbeaten in the CL completely.

Lol remember here just 3 weeks ago people here were asking for his head for daring to play Zouma in midfield.
-
Tbh considering his antics etc with the Bayern docs I think secretly he's a bellend to work with.
-
Agree. He called Jose the best manager too - Ahead of Pep. It seems nearly every player who has played with him apart from his Real squad has always believed in him/loved his coaching. The moment we halt his burnout he is the best playmaker in the world.
-
IMO I'd like to see a domestic cup squad trusted right until the final. It'd be great for development and giving youngsters experience, and take pressure off of our first team. It'd also bring opportunity to give people such as Iva the chance to exercise their leadership skills. Can change obv, but it'd be designed to rest our most sapped players - Cesc, Matic, Hazard. Etc Etc. Something like this -2nd keeper- Azpi Iva © Zouma Ake (2nd DM) RLC Juan C. Oscar Willian Remy/Bamford NB I just found out ( C ) does the cool circle thing! Which allows stepped phasing - ie the season after RLC goes to first team, say, Ramires leaves - Colkett comes in next to the DM. Or Ake elevated to first team DM and Jay Dasilva comes in.

It's like that knee injury possessed him into being creative!
-
Cech Azpi Zouma JT Luis Mikel RLC Cuadrado Oscar Willian Remy

He'll be out with the bois tonight  :blue scalf:
-
I'm really split on whether I want youth to play or whether I want them thumped
-
Yeah well tonight I bet he'll be with the lads! Good day to have a London away game!
-
Sorry, but no. Yes he hasn't got much pace but if you're looking at it purely on that level Terry is our weak link. Obviously in practice that's not the case but if you think we're going to sell the first choice England CB while his partner will be retiring in 1 or 2 seasons' time then you're lying to yourself. Ideally soon we get a pacier RB so Iva moves to CB as backup (when Terry retires) or an LB so Azpi can move back (this will probably be end of next season), as yes having such a slow back line is crippling for our style of football. However Azpi Iva/Cahill Zouma (new LB) would be just fine. Cahill is a good defender, and when he gets stranded on the right while Iva is still on the pitch he does fantastically, and makes so many important blocks/clearances
-
Oh yeah? Anything more on his CFC future next season?
-
Realistically Cahill is going nowhere. First choice England centre back, no leadership skills but he's the natural successor to Terry unless we can get Varane, and even then we might not see the back of him. Plus he's better than people round here reckon. Even if he's not likely to be Captain (Ivanovic/Fabregas will get it IMO)
-
IMO I reckon RM will have him. Casillas is moving on (to the Gooners no less ) and he's still fucking fantastic. Probably as a stop gap to De Gea.
-
I would have thought Drogba will not leave, but will probably move back a step to 4th choice, and start moving into coaching. No idea who we'll get for 3rd though. If Bamford's up for it (which Juan reckons he isn't) sure. Otherwise I can imagine it being a 30+ guy for us. Maybe Branislav might have a crack at it

Post-season in Thailand and Australia

Then or squad will likely be full of youth. I'm happy either way. ...And it might just be Cech's last game in blue. -
I live in hope (cries)
-
Cech Azpi Terry Cahill Luis Matic RLC Willian Cesc Hazard Oscar Didn't drop Iva because he was poor, but because otherwise we'll be done for pace.
