Stay classy Arse fans. 2 pens denied and Ramires should have buried that...
-
I reckon Oscar will be the false 9 in reality.
-
Oh yeah, I completely agree. I like Koke as a player and he'd be great for our system but considering Oscar is a CAM and he does that much work I reckon we'd miss him if he went. If we'd never brought Fabregas I'd love this transfer but unless it's for the purpose of pressing (and presumably at the expense of Ramires/Willian or both) it seems a waste.
-
People view him as a stronger, CM version of Oscar, that's why. People view Fabregas as being vunerable in central midfield, and they're right to an extent. However, Oscar is a fantastic n10 and often acts as a CM to cover for Cesc. Koke in physical matches would be fantastic as an addition to add some steel, or on the wing to press...but with RLC coming soon...I can't see it happening. I believe he'll do the same job anyway.
-
No way would the borough or the RFU fans allow that. They probably view a football club playing at Twickers sacrilege as it is.
-
Koke-Oscar-Hazard would be a fantastic pressing AM 3, however it is laid out. I feel, though, that people are destined to be disappointed if Koke becomes a direct replacement for Oscar.
-
I can't see him lasting 90, though... Especially considering Solanke was both rested for this match and also training with the first team I think we'll be seeing him.

Azpi > Bertrand Fonte > Cahill Cesc > Coutinho

Rumoured Nathan Allan De Souza

Can someone tell me what position he plays? How well he plays? Really don't see the value in this signing... -
When we played Hammers they were talking about making the Champions League, Stoke had a one in a million goal and Hull were gifted one goal. Palace are currently in fantastic form, Shrewsbury wasn't exactly our strongest team, and Burnley have been doing one over nearly all of the top 8 sides.
-
if we wrap up the league in the next 2 games we'll probably be seeing him then.
-
It's invalid then. On form, Remy would be starting ahead of all of Liverpool's strikers. On topic, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if Solanke is handed a start/Sub PL debut. Jose is clearly intending to use him, he overruled the U21 managers and rested him for this match - he wouldn't take such steps if he wasn't planning for him to play imo.

Any updates?

Boro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I hope we put 5 past them and have 80% possession but go to a 5-5 draw as we have shabby defending just to shut up all the cunts on here that think Jose 'can't play attacking football', despite the entirety of the first half of the season and a bit of January arguing to the contrary. Then you can all find out what it's like to be an Arsenal fan.
-
If Luis isn't playing after we've won the PL I might actually lose it. Winning the league now would be a perfect time to reacclimatise Azpi to RB. I'd like to see Cech Azpi Zouma Terry/Ivanovic Luis Ake RLC Cuadrado Oscar Willian Solanke Would be fantastic, allowing our key midfielders much deserved rest and giving our youth some minutes, except for Liverpool, full strength lineup just for them please. Though I wouldn't be averse to Jose going for max points.
-
Plus Juve play like we do when we play ugly....all of the time. I think Barca deserve to win it really. They've played the best football this year, and so they bloody should do considering they have Suarez-Messi-Neymar as a front 3...
-
IMO the 10 men argument is false. They lost a striker, not a midfielder or a defender. And they had the game of their lives against us. Plus they were so fired up...and Jose put Zouma on for Matic just before David Luiz scored.
-
Cheers gents. Have a like each for your troubles
-
IMO we should see how RLC does before we make any rash decisions.
-
RM in the group stage would be a good test for our side. Don't think we've ever played them before, actually.
-
Tbf Real were a red card away from crashing out of the CL. But agreed, we should have got there. Had PSG not had the game of their lives against us we would have gone through.
-
Yeah I haven't seen him play in more matches but I reckon our midfield 3 (Oscar, Cesc and Matic) would have done better tonight. I do like Koke though. Oscar on the wing and Fabregas in the 10 with Koke-Matic in the pivot would be a pressing masterclass.
-
lol it's worse than us. Having said that RM dived hard and if that were a PL match Ardo or whatever his name is would never have seen red.
-
That's what I mean. Chelsea will soon be on the same status as Bayern, Barca et al. Therefore he'd be stupid to leave imo - at the end of his playing career he'll probably get a statue here. As long as he's patient. I can see RM advancing on him but unless he wants to go, we'll never sell him.
