    1,000% agree.
Nah Fam, I can't vote for H-R-C. And it pains me to see my fellow brothas and sistas vote for this woman after all the donations she's received from PRIVATE JAIL COMPANIES, WALL STREET, ETC.......Like, you wot m8?!!?
Please read this article. Hilary Clinton does not deserve black peoples votes
Bill Clinton literally went on to the Arsenio Hall show, put on glasses, played the Saxophone, and went down in the African American hall of fame as being "one of us" (Even Maya Angelou claimed Bill as being One of Us! Once he got that ringing endorsement from arguably the most influential/prominent AA writer of her era it was a wrap.) Also, African Americans at large got to stop putting their faith and blindly following the Democratic Party. (I am guilty of this.) We act like the Democratic party genuinely cares about our interests when in reality a large portion of Dems don't fulfill their promises and we NEVER hold them accountable for it. We just follow this group think mentality where it's Democrat or abstaining from voting all-together. I don't have all the answers for how AAs should combat this issue but it's an issue nonetheless.
I thought Bill was an AMAZING president, and I'll admit I was in that same camp, and only left that train of thought like a year and a half ago.I went back and read that it was him that started the deregulation of Wall-Street, gave the top 1% tax breaks, and started the aforementioned industrial jail complex...he got that ball rolling. Then Hillary comes through a decade plus later and starts to conveniently recognize the damage her husband's policies had towards POC in regards to drug related sentencing. ALSO! I know politics is politics, and that it can be a very nasty game.. but are we gonna summarily dismiss that when she was running against Obama 8 years ago she drummed up the race card to win over white voters??
Hilary, as Term-X would say, is a  "fox in sheep's clothing."
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've become very disillusioned with this country over the past couple of years. I just wanna finish my college degree and get the fuck outta here.
CNN/FOX/ABC/MSNBC/NBC have successfully implemented their never ending strategy of divide and conquer with the platform they have given to Trump to speak his toxic and xenophobic message to the masses. What future presidential candidate can state "All Mexicans are rapists and criminals" and not have his presidential campaign ended on the spot? Or say Muslims in America were celebrating the 9/11 attacks with absolutely no facts to back this statement after clamoring that he "saw it on the TV somewhere" when no TV station could back that claim? What??
I just read how CNN's profits have been insane these past months, because every night at 8pm Trump is giving an interview to contradict something he said on the same show last week, or the morning interview he gave earlier that day. But don't tell the news corporations to fact-check everything he says and hold him to presidential standard because that would ruin their show and ratings. As Frank Underwood said in House of Cards this past season "Politics is prime-time entertainment".
CNN have gotten to the point where, they don't even care what he says. Trump didn't denounce the KKK? Who cares! The people will forget about this in 2 hours when he says something even more outrageous! BTW, he said he didn't know who david duke was, but back in 2000 he specifically references him by name saying that he represented was a problem for the party.....Looks like david uke and the KKK are only a problem unless they represent a significant portion of your followers, like in South Carolina where 20% of Trump supporters believe the South should have won the Civil War....... I rest my case.

After this political race (not that I did before) ...I don't know how anybody with half a brain takes mainstream journalism and news with any shred of credibility.

As a Belgian and a guy who frequently goes through Brussels Airport and the Brussels Metro, I'll repost what I said on my Facebook page here.

Europeans, Africans, Arabs, Americans, Asians, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus and what not: all of them were waiting for check-in at Brussels Airport yesterday morning. Same goes for the people on that metro train going to work: a cross-section of humanity.
Does anyone really think the deranged lunatics who committed these atrocities and the halfwits that support them gave two shits about who was on that train or in that hall and what faith they had? These are not attacks on countries, religions or even ways of life. They are attacking and challenging all of our humanity. All of us are victims. All of us.
We can’t prevent and control all of these attacks – they will happen again in some other place. What we can control is our reaction to them. I understand lots of people are sad, angry and afraid, but I’ve read a lot of responses online that are simply inacceptable, as well as the first attempts at political recuperation. Fools. Utterly shameful.
I dread the day someone dear to me will fall victim to one of these attacks. Maybe I’ll cave in and join the legion of hate – who knows.
But it will not be this day.
Be nice and respectful, keep talking to each other, try to be a good person and be part of the solution instead of the problem.

First of all, thank you for your insightful and again very nuanced answers. Looking back at my initial post it gives away the stereotipical way in how I view countries in the Middle-East and how I put every country there under the same umbrella. I considered such bombings to be an everyday thing which of course they are not. I can not even begin to fathom how shocked everyone is and what this means for your country. I sincerely hope this will remain 'just' an isolated incident.
Regarding terrorism, you're right it is a very dubious term. Even the United Nations has struggled to come up with a good and sound definition. Propably one of the reasons is that some definitions would also include Israel or the USA themselves as terrorist organisations. To answer with a cliché: one man's terrorist is another man's freedomfighter. If I read your assesement, in a sense, this also is the case in Lebanon. Hizbollah started and grew stronger as a reaction to the war(s) with Israel and this, obviously, also is the reason why Israel and its allies want to view it as a terrorist organisation. Always easier to have public opinion behind you when you can frame your enemy as a terrorist, the same is happening in Turkey right now with the PKK.
Regarding framing Hizbollah, or even broader in this case, Lebanese people as terrorists, this short story which maybe will interest you:
In Belgium there is a famous political activist and columnist of Lebanese orginin, Dyab Abou Jajah, who during the war in 2006 went to Lebanon to help. Though he was allready a contested figure in our country, due to the fact he doesn't exactly mince his words, upon his return the far right, Vlaams Belang, used his involvement in that war as a way to frame him as a extremist to take away his Belgium citizenship. Luckily thing cleared out and he is now quite a respected talkshowhost and columnist in our country.
This is not how the story ends however. Just recently with the elections of a new Labour leader some media used a meeting between Jeremy Corbyn, Jajah and Lebanese MP Hussein Hajj Hassan as a way to frame Corbyn as a dangerous fool who deals with terrorist organisations. Since Jajah is a rather well-known figure in Belgium this story was debunked quite rapidly but a lot of people fell for it and still believe it.

And of course the western media headlines the suicide bombing of one the poorest and most crowded market places in Lebanon resulting in the death of 43 civilians and the injuring of over 200 as "Bomb hits Hezbollah stronghold".... go figure.

Sigh.....Honestly I'm still in shock at the moment. This is the worst atrocity to hit the country since the Israeli assault in 2006. I want to joke and say you knew something and didn't tell me but the magnitude of the crime is just too much....sigh.
Politically, Lebanon has always been a sectarian country. Naturally there have been shockwaves of the sectarian divide in the region but generally nothing violent, just political. There have been some exceptions like rounds of violence between Islamic extremists and Alawites (technically not Shias but close) in Tripoli but most of the violence has been either directed towards the Lebanese army or towards civilians like was the case today.
What I think of Hizbollah is not a question that can be answered simply. I've talked before in this thread about what I think of labeling Hizbollah as terrorists. To begin with, the term itself is not one that I understand nor can find consistent meaning for. So give me your definition of a terrorist organization and I'll try to define them accordingly. As for my own opinion of them, I wrote this a couple of years ago on here in response to a similar question and it still stands mostly true:
Shortly, military wise in terms of resisting Israeli assaults the resistance has a near unanimous support from the people that goes well beyond political, ideological and even national barriers. In terms on internal politics Hezbollah has become part of the corrupt sectarian system in Lebanon (although not quite good at it as the rest of them).
As for the involvement in the Syrian civil war, it was done for selfish reasons. They did it to preserve their main weapons supply rout, a strong ally and the strength of the so called resistance axis. They were not motivated by the best interest of the country and its people. That said, in a purely practical sense their involvement has had a positive effect on the country to first and foremost secure the border which was taken by takfiri jihadis including several Lebanese villages (a Lebanese village called Arsal is still till now under Qaeda and ISIS rule) and to actually stop the actual war from spilling over into Lebanon and from turning into another Iraq which was an actual possibility. In a geo-strategic sense, as a multi-cultural and religion country our best interest is in Bashar Assad staying power. However the actual involvement cannot be justified neither morally nor legally. At the end of the end of the day they are still supporting a tyrant and a war criminal.
How this is viewed in Lebanon is only through the lens of one side or the other of the fighting in Syria because in Lebanon every political party is either with the regime or the rebels. So normally the criticism from their pro-gulf pro-USA opposition in Lebanon is invalid as those forces themselves helped fund and arm the Islamist extremists in Syria.
Apologies for the probably incoherent and poorly written post. As I said, I'm still in a bit of a shock to be completely honest.

    In simpler English,
    1. I was saying Mourinho did not turn Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria and Ozil to TOWNSEND kind of player because:
    A. Ronaldo, Benzema, and Higuain all played better under Mourinho than they ever did under attacking minded Pellegrini,
    B. Ronaldo, and Benzema, (because Higuain did not play for ANCELOTTI) also played much better and scored more, to SOME EXTENT, under Mourinho than they did under ANCELOTTI.
    C. Ozil played much better under Mourinho than he's currently doing under another example of an attacking minded coach.
    2. I also said that based on your assumptions, we could also say that Ancelotti also turned Bale into another Townsend last season.
    3. I concluded that it all short memories, just like some fans calling Hazard an overrated player simply because their arguments just like yours is totally flawed and baseless.
Now, next time, before calling me or anyone a fan boy, which is not only disrespectful but also downright childish, you should at least come up with a better logical argument probably backed up with statistics too Or you could speak with someone with a better understanding of both the language and the game before posting utter garbage.
I was not even responding (or quoted) your post in the first place

See what youre saying. We all know managers are generally gobshites, from Wengers "I deed not seee it" to Benitez' shrug followed by "hunbeleefable, but this is football"
Jose is prickly, a pantomine villain that the FA take seriously. Jose does know better, but a lot of his success is centred round being a Portuguese bad boy, cant see it changing, but its all an act as we know to deflect. Problem being now with the team is that the task is on the scale of turning round an oil tanker or deflecting an asteroid from earth.
If he does it, makes top four, he will have turned round our worst start since 1978 into one of footballs greatest stories. Lets give him a chance.

I wish he had replaced fabregas and ivanovic because I am confident that the results would have been the same or worse.
Because the evidence says that one or two player tweaks doesn't make that much of a difference: like I said before Mikel played instead and alongside Matic and guess what the results were? Terry played and was left out without much of a difference really.
We have our own preferences and dislikes, but if you don't see tha the problems go Beyond team selection, then imo you don't know why we are losing which partly explains the hate against Jose.
Fans tend to believe in the quick short term fix: fix the confidence... Replace the manager... Sub this or that player... It's never that simple.
We are in a deficit compared to almost all the other teams in the pl and cl. We are slower, weaker, and less sharp. That's what we have to fix first.
Unfortunately it's s lot easier said than done.

    While Im happy board is behind him, I will keep it simple;
If players are behind him, he has to stay. The day the dressing room is against him, he should leave. He is great manager, created biggest part of our history, and he will never be forgotten, but if things go south, the best is to move on. For him, the players and club.

I think there are more roundabouts per square mile in MK than any major town/city in Europe, though I can't find the source which proves that. I remember it once being described as the "Mecca of roundabouts". There are 300 roundabouts in Milton Keynes, which is effectively one roundabout per 600 people, and one roundabout every 296 square metres.
Swindon has the best roundabout in the world, though:

It means you can effectively go around the roundabout the wrong way. Epic.

In terms of traffic, Cairo is probably the worst in the world as Rapha said above. You should also try driving in Lebanon where you can get a driving license without even taking a test. A journo once got a driving license for a blind person to highlight how dangerous corrupt the system is. Still didn't change anything
