Doesnt your heart just bleed for Citeh! I needed a mate to kick me after I shouted out "Come on you Reds" after the score came out. I dont really get why Mou was pissed after one of the coachs blurted out the score because Id have thought it would have given the lads a boost.
I dont like relying on other teams to take points from rivals normally but right now Ill take them any which way we can.
Now bring on the Hammers! Another step closer to the title.

Majority of people acted like Vybz when Benitez was in charge. There was a ridiculous amount of negativity and people not supporting the manager and his decisions/tactics as is being preached here.
The guy has a different opinion to the majority and is voicing it...on a forum. No need for everyone to jump on the poor guys back or claim he isn't a supporter.
I certainly hope you stay Vybz Kartel. The forum would be boring if we all agreed with each other, I enjoy seeing things from other peoples perspective and hearing different opinions even if I don't agree with them.

Exactly, we played a proper 4-3-3 with zouma in the Makelele role. No need for pivot in the big games, we're too open whenever we play that. The 4-3-3 allows the left cm and right cm (fab and ramires) to protect hazard and Willian when they go forward. And with ramires energy to join in the attack and still come back to defend it's a perfect fit.
I just hope we didn't play that formation just because Matic didn't play, we need to continue with it until cohesion in our counters is reached.

Some of you might think I'm talking shite but about half-way in the first half I thought to myself "fuck, we're winning this", before we looked like scoring, the way we were set up was perfect imo and the end result reflects that. Our defence just looked solid - proper solid, one of those games I just KNEW they weren't scoring, and to top it off, while it wasn't perfect our counter-attacking was good enough to cause them problems.
Basically my point is there really was no point in this game were I was ever worried, I knew the result would come and I hope we stick with the 4-3-3 in the bigger games, we look more compact.
I've still not got over the fact it's the first trophy for this new team, Mou's first trophy in a couple of years... brilliant.

The whole debate about playing "quality football" and not winning vs winning with "boring" defensive tactics is soooooo overhyped.
I like to think of it this way. We would all LOVE to have the best sex of our lives with a supermodel, that's everyone's ideal scenario. Now if I was given a choice of having great foreplay with a hottie but no finish then walking home with blueballs OR having a quickie with a decent looking girl and a nice nap afterwards, I'm pretty sure I know what I would choose. Arsenal fans goes home with Blueballs every year, and I had a nice satisfying sleep last night. Thank you Mourinho!

Who cares? We fucking won and didn't concede against a team that stuck 5 past us. If we play every final like that but win I personally couldn't give a shit.
Sure you go on to say about us winning bla bla bla but that first paragraph is you just whinging over fuck all really. We all knew what was going to come because of that 5-3 game when we got them in the final.

I just can't believe the attitudes of some people. The criticism would be warranted had we lost, but we fucking won the cup. I'm still buzzing, absolutely delighted. No-one cares how you play in finals; people care if you win finals. We did. Be happy.

so playing in a way that negates the opposition team's total attack is simply "parking the bus". un-fucking-imaginable.

correct me if I'm wrong but Chelsea have the best record overall in Europe right now, right?
This crusade against the Special One is laughable... 9 games played and a near perfect record in the toughest league, the only blemishes occurred in the dying seconds of two tough games.
Wow some Chelsea supporters don't know how good they have it, bitching, moaning and complaining about a manager who has us undefeated and playing some incredible football. This is where the love of video games has ruined the reality of football. When you play Football Manager you can save your progress and if you lose reload the game and try again, this 'redo as many times until you get it right' style of game play has warped a lot of peoples minds.
Jose knows what he's doing people, you are making yourselves look like idiots complaining about two draws in an undefeated season. Not one loss in roughly 15 games played, that is incredible and the manager deserves a ton of credit for it.
Nothing but respect for Jose Mourinho!

"People aren't interested in personal matters, but Pep got it wrong and I'm surprised by his comments," Vilanova told AS. "No one on the board used my illness to attack him. The club tried to help me as much as possible."He visited me once in New York when I'd just arrived, but during my recovery from the operation I was there for two months and I didn't see him. He's my friend and I needed him, but he wasn't there for me. I would have done things differently. I won't say anything else about this."

Maybe Jose0711 used some harsh words to describe what Pep did, but it's true what he said. He abandoned Tito while he needed him.
Pep is a manager I never want to see at Chelsea, the guy is such a fake gentlemen and control freak.

You're seriously pissing me off. Why don't you support another club. No Mourinho, no problem, right?
Something is wrong with this world. Everybody knows, Mourinho's first priority is to avoid a defeat. Now what is more likely?
    1. Try to play attacking football and neglect our weakness in the defence and lose
    2. Try to be solid in the back four and defend as good as possible and lose.
No-brainer. Ofc No. 1 is more likely. So what is this all about? We fucking achieved ONE point AWAY against our MAIN rival. We are TOP of the league.
Sure. Mou made mistakes. Playing Drogba is just soo wrong when you have Remy on the bench. Keeping Willian on the pitch after his horrible performance, too. Accepted.
But which team wouldn't struggle in such matches? Real lost to Ateltico, Dortmund lost to Mainz, Bayern drew Hamburg and got slaughtered by Real last season Barcelon aren't convincing either. Liverpool are already fking up. We still haven't lost any match and just need to improve our defence. Once the team defends in the way Mourinho wishes, we will be able to combine it with a more attacking approach. But now it is just important to secure points to be a bit comfortable later in the season.

I don't get most of the posts here.
Some people here NEVER watched Mourinho's Inter and Mourinho's Madrid. He took a lot of risks with both of those teams. He isn't just reactive manager - although he's that as well. He's a manager that tries to do everything he can to win and he makes a few mistakes in the way.
I'm royally pissed at him for making me resent Didier. That's not Didier's fault. He tries and fights, and runs, and does everything he can in the matches, the problem is he can't do much, he's been shit lately, he's 36, he's a shadow of a footballer, not simply of his old self. That's Mourinho's mistake.
We had a more than shaky defense for most matches so far, so he set up a team that would offer cover to that frail defense. We did a great job through and through defending. Iva/Schurrle made a mistake that cost us a goal, you can't blame Mourinho for that.
I hate his insistence on playing Drogba in important matches and I hope he can let it go, otherwise I will be really, really disappointed, but other than that, I don't see what horrible mistake he did today. Costa was unlucky not to make 2-0. We played better when they were down to 10, Mourinho doesn't play in the pitch... we were only dominated with one more man in the pitch after Lamp's goal. It's a normal reaction if you ask me, that was awkward and difficult for the players to deal with. Mourinho made mistakes today, but the overreaction here is 1000x times worse than any mistake he's done.
This shit, reactive manager that owned everyone in the transfer window has his team at the top of the league unbeatable and with 3 points ahead of flukes and 5 points ahead of the closest title contender. Get a grip or go support Bayern.

Decision making is still not great. He was great tonight, but if you look at it this way.... He had atleast 5/6 1v1s today, and only ONE of them resulted in a goal. Compare that to (not Messi or Ronaldo which we all agree are only comparable to one another) Neymar or even Bale (who I don't rate very highly), and I assure you they get on the score sheet once, if not more times.
I made a prediction a day before the game that Hazard would score against Schalke because of the intent and desire he showed against Swansea but today- although he wasn't nonchalant- he was super inefficient when he got in and around the box. His assist for Cesc was superb. I thought he'd just tear them apart from that moment on wards but he struggled a bit... not knowing whether to pass, to shoot, to take the defender inside or take it to the line.
I'll tell you right now, his performance was great tonight. Probably him and Filipe Luis were the candidates for the MOTM. BUT if this guy can figure out how to convert those 1v1 situations into goals/assists on a more regular basis, HE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY UNPLAYABLE. People say that he is unplayable now, which is a bit of a reach in my eyes, because if he isn't either racking up the assists or hitting the back of the net, then that statement is a bit exaggerated.
I repeat, if he can figure out how to convert those 1v1 situations into goals/assists on a more regular basis, he will be truly unplayable. But hey, he's only 23, right?

All i'm going to say is thank god we don't have Pep and his hipsters-ish ways. He constantly changes formations for no apparent reasons, he loves possession even when they look predictable and he experiments with the team far too much...
Klopp is the real deal, he's got a great personality, brilliant fast-attacking philosophy and is very, very Loyal

This video coupled with his average and often overrated stamina highlights why he wouldn't have made any meaningful difference in that everton game as we would still have been thoroughly outplayed if not even more. watch from 2.33-2.48 how easily he loses possession or gets dispossessed under any slight pressure (typical Oscar) and given how intense the everton pressing was, the result/performance would have been the same if not much worse in fact. We couldn't control the game because Everton pressed us very well and retained possession and not because of Oscar's absence

One bad game? mate i've watched Lukaku for the past three years, his overall play is awful. Lukaku needs space, even his old manager Steve Clark and Neville both said they understand why Chelsea sold him, you may say he struggles against teams who sit deep but i'll go even further, imo he only plays well when he has space to run into.
Also his mouth is too big for his boots, you dont need to watch him play to determine that ffs. Jesus, these Lukaku fanboys.
