simonez reacted to Fernando in The Next Manager?
What about the Ajax coach? Erik ten Hag
But likewise with Pochetino he's been at Ajax for a couple of years now.
So he wasn't good in the first year. And the clubs and the fans want instant success.....

The fans made his stay hell, he's proved himself, playing his own way. I have always sympathised with him here, Sarri came weeks into the season, new country, didn't speak the language, inherited a comparatively poor team that came 5th. I know it was frustrating at times but apart from City and Pool, all the other clubs would wish they had the season we just had. with a squad that only 2 of the players can walk into other clubs in top 6, the fans expected too much too soon. He hasn't left the club worse off and would have been sacked if Wembley didn't go to penalties or if he lost in Baku. Its rather unfortunate because he seemed to be forging an understanding with the team and the way he outfoxed Arsenal as against the November match at the Emirates would have been helpful next season. The fans couldn't wait for him to be sacked 6 weeks ago, now showing disgust for him wanting to leave, sorry guys, we don't deserve his loyalty.

It's crazy how the running of this club has somehow persuaded the fans that sacking a manager at the first sign of trouble is necessary.. so much soo that they are even debating sacking a manager who has won a European trophy and delivered CL football for the club. Ontop of which was all done through chaos and turmoil. Why are we even talking about only giving Sarri one more season. The man is not only completing the objectives given but more. The topic of discussion should be on how to keep this man building for the future at all costs. 🤷♂️

Precisely.
Also Sarri's constant criticism has been he hasnt won anything, but as you said we humiliated Arsenal second half in a Europa League final, playing excellently. He also said in an interview he has to win more trophies now so they dont just say hes won one.
I hope he stays for another season at least and can get the team playing more consistent and get another trophy or two, I mean we got to the Carabao Cup final as well this season so why cant we get there again next year or to the FA cup final? As well as a stronger top 4 finish as we wont challenge for the league and having a strong CL run? He deserves every chance to do it.

Even if I don't mind Lampard becoming the "coach", the rational feeling is:
-Would you replace a manager that in his first season got a top 3 finish in PL, won Europa League humiliating Arsenal in the final and is wanted by Juventus, would you replace this guy for a guy that best job as manager is finishing 6th in Championship?

Finished 3rd in the league and won the Europa League. Before season's start I would have taken it with a big smile. He deserves to stay now and I hope he wants to stay.

I'm telling you now, to all the SarriOut supporters.... you don't know how lucky we are to have a humble manager like Sarri... a man with principle, passion, an expansive free flowing footballing philosophy and balls, big humungous set of balls.... be careful what you wish for.

I don't think it's too disrespectful for him to thank the Napoli fans. If you look at his career, it was Napoli that took the real gamble on giving him a chance to coach a top quality side for the first time. It were the Napoli fans that loved him and stood by his side through thick and thin. Especially after the roller coaster last season and ended up with nothing.
Also very ironic the only people that are upset about it, are the ones who have continuously slated Sarri time and time again since October. Couldn't make it up

I like Sarri to stay. He did well given the circumstances - lack of proper pre-season, toxic environment in the last half of the season, personal attacks, etc. Some keep harping about lack of rotation or being stubborn etc. Sorry, but some of the greatest achievements have been as a result of unswerving faith. Barcelona trains their players right from academy in every aspect so much so that it's instilled in the players as soon as they make their senior debut. What do we expect from Sarri? Only 2-3 weeks for what is a technically demanding system and we expect it to work? And if it does not work, throw the whole damn thing out and play long balls?? Actually, thinking about it now, Sarri probably over-achieved this season. The guy is classy - talks about the front of shirt being most important, the club being most important. And some have to complain about his Napoli comment. Give me a break - he just felt sorry that he could not won a trophy for the Napoli fans. Small minds.
As a Chelsea fan, I'm pleased with this season. More than anything, I feel happy for Sarri. If he's not treated properly by the board or fans, then he should go where he is wanted and respected. Life's too short.

Happy for him. He's been criticized immensely, Emery and co have had easier rides than him and he's outperformed them. Congrats on the first trophy

I don't have an agenda against him mate. I just don't rate him as much as other people do. And that doesn't only involve preseason. I've never been super impressed by him.
I want him to do good, but I don't expect him to be the second coming of Lampard.
Can he help? Yeah. Is it vital for us to keep him? No.

simonez reacted to Vesper in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
that was in euros
so was like £102 plus Musonda, who is worth £10m max, more like £8 atm (his Celtic debacle really hurt his resale value)
£110m is probably a good good price for SMS.
Lazio demand 150m euros (133m quid)
I think they would take 140m euro (£125m) That is borderline not worth it.
£115m cash is top I would go I think.
He is completely worth over £100m in today's market. I really would have to question people who would differ. He is a very unique player. IF we did get him (pipe dream) we would have the 2nd best MF in the world, Barca added a monster in Arthur Melo, so Rakitic/Arthur/Busquets/Coutinho is hard to top.

So, apparently there might have been an offer of €115m+Musonda.
Would it be awesome but I don't believe that for a second. We'll end up with Vecino.
