I wouldn't say poor.First half of season - 9-9.5 magnificent, best form ever (he said this himself). Some games of him were unreal, WBA at home he completed the most passes ever in EPL for example. Many MOTM performances. Second half of season - 7-7.5 good, still very creative, good playmaker. Instrumental for our play. Had some below average performances but still some very good ones. Overall season - 8-8.5 read he has 30 assists for us in all competitions (not sure) and 17 now in the EPL. Besides the stats, our whole style changed thanks to him.

The younger JT don't need protection from Azpi, so just play our best attacking LB Diego is more clinical than DD was. Iva over Azpi because we have Maka and Carvalho.

I don't agree with your part that we don't need another star. Eden is not Ronaldo where he needs all the attention and pleasing. Last year Eden was the only star (after Mata left) and he was clearly frustrated. "Sometimes I feel I have to carry the whole attack/do everything on my own." This year we added two stars in Cesc and Diego, and suddenly Hazard's game improved, we won the league and he won the EPL player of the year. His comments "Diego is always asking 100% from you, he leads from the attack and always scores goals. Cesc and I have an understanding on the field which is incredible." I 100% agree with you friend,Koke would bring us to another level, IMO he is one of the 2 major signings we need this summer. - Koke/Gundogan/Pogba (wc CM) - Bale/Reus (wc AM) Regarding Luis, I feel bad for him too. But he will be 30 years old next season and won't get any better while Ake has a bright future in front of him. If Jose sticks with JT-Azpi, Ake should be enough to be his back up. Luis is too good for the bench for two seasons.
