If the replacement is going to play the same minutes as Luis this season, why not try Ake?

Yeah Adebayor was his DD of this season, but younger. Playing other position? That's exactly the case, Remy plays LW and RW too. So we will basically have: Strikers: Costa, Benteke,*Remy Wingers: Cuadrado, Eden, Willian, *Remy, Ramires*, Oscar* *=alternative position Our squad is small, we can even add another AM/winger. Attacking wise, I prefer Remy above Oscar and Ramires as winger, and currently also above Cuadrado. If the hamstring thing with Costa continous, we should really look at a solid striker.

Talent wise Oscar is not close to Eden, but they are also different players with different qualities. Think Mou meant the evolution to reach his potential and being consistent for a whole season instead of the first 3 months. When asked about why Eden deserves the EPL POTY he answered ''consistency'' , so I think he meant next year, with a good summer break he believes Oscar can be the Oscar of August-November for the whole year. To be honest and fair with him, if he plays like the first 3-4 months for the whole year, his rating would be a 7-7.5 for me. But is he good enough for us to conquer Europe? My personal opinion is no. That's why I hope we at least get a top quality CM/AM to win the CL and Oscar could be decent squad player for that dream, should he stay.

I have never seen Jose giving such a treatment to a player, giving chance after chance, failing two seconds in a row for him to do something in the second part of the season. Last year he said something like for ''300M they can buy Oscar and Hazard'' (PSG). Kept playing talented players out of position (Mata, Schurrle, KDB, Willian) on that RW, just to keep Oscar in the team at his favorite position. I really hoped he will at least replace Oscar from the starting eleven. But now he looks serious with the comments, ''just signed a new contract, no preseason, always playing tournaments, no rest.'' Hopefully we at least sign a quality player who can compete with Oscar for a starting spot then, since Cuadrado is not giving him any competition.

Don't think it's impossible, Jose always likes to have 3 quality strikers. He said something like this: "When you play a system with 1 striker, I need 3 in my squad. Because when 1 is injured I need at least 1 other on the bench. When you play a system with 2 strikers, 3 is okay but 4 is ideal." Two weeks ago he also hinted at the injury problems of Diego and Remy. Said something like "Imagine we we were still in the CL, competing for the FA cup, we were lucky to have Didier fit." I also saw the interview of Loic, he said this is just his first year, next year he wants to win more trophies with us. I think the key is how to convince Remy to stay and fight for his minutes.

Hmm the reason Jose does not rotate is because he doesn't trust the options on the bench enough. Benteke will be someone he can trust, like Higuain and Benzema. Jose does not love big squads (difficult to keep them happy and engaged), many times confirmed by himself. That's why he loves versatile players or make them versatile, like Essien, Ramires, Zouma and Remy. Another point is, Special Juan said Bamford won't be willing to be third choice next year. So I think we defenitely will sign some one unless we keep DD as 3rd striker. So a price around £20M would be good for a EPL proven goal scorer.

Hmm imagine Remy + Costa out again next season, what then? Do you trust DD/Bamford for all competitions? Benteke would be an upgrade on DD. With him added to the squad, Mou has more options. Rotation: Benteke is in his prime and proven in the EPL, so basically he will be a player Mou can trust. Imagine Costa having a bad run of games/suspended/injured, Mou then can play Remy or Benteke easily. 2 strikers system: When we needed to chase a game this season, Mou played 2 or even 3 strikers. Target man: Benteke is a type of striker we don't have in Remy and Costa, a target man and monster in the air. He adds quality to our squad which a younger DD had. Remy is versatile: Remy is a striker but is also decent as winger, so with Benteke here, Remy could also play on the wing. We compete in 4 competitions, having 3 quality strikers is not too much, especially when 1 can play as winger. For the right price we should sign him.

For £15M it's a good buy, I agree with you. He would be a great squad player.

Hazard>>Neymar. Pedro has declined a lot over the years, there is a reason why Barca bought Alexis, Neymar and Suarez. Pedro is just not starting quality for them anymore. Before someone mention Cesc, Fabregas was mainly played out of position because of Xavi and Iniesta. So I don't get the Pedro is worldclass thing, he is decent. Would be great depth signing for goals like Schurrle, but if we want to win the CL, we should aim higher.

Honestly, for me Chelsea>>>Dutch national team. I'd rather win the CL with Chelsea than Worldcup with Netherlands. (What about others?) In Netherlands I support Feyenoord, and he is a PSV player so actually it's a rival. I rather see him fail at United than making them serious title contenders. Same goes for Dailey Blind from Ajax. In Netherlands they see him as the next big talent. We haven't brought worldclass Dutch talents since the golden 4: Van Persie, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Arjen Robben. So it's been like 13 years now. In the mean time Netherlands brought people abroad like John (Benfica flop), Babel (Liverpool flop), Drenthe (Madrid flop). But he's clearly more talented than those, so a little bit exaggeration/hope is normal. Last season he was a big talent and had some great moments at the worldcup. This season he lead PSV to their first title since 2007-08, scoring 20+ goals. Regarding Van Ginkel, he was really unlucky to be injured. Probably not world class, but has the potential to be a very decent player for a sub top team. Not sure if he can be the next Robben, but surely has the potential to shine at United.
