The problem is we have too many "good squad players". For example Remy, Oscar, Mikel, Ramires, Cahill. We also have some "incomplete players" like JT, Cesc (too slow) and Diego (behavior problems). The only complete and top class players we have are Tibo, Azpi, Matic, Hazard, Pedro and Willian, Zouma and RLC have the potential. Our next targets in January/summer should be first team improvements, no squad fillers anymore.

Let's do a simple math and say missing the CL is failure. He's had 12 full seasons and the current one will be his 13th. Let's assume he will finish the season and won't make top 4. That's a failure rate of 1/13= 7.7%. I'd hire a manager with a success rate of 92.3% any day. Or maybe we should look at the 12 league games this season. He's never had a run of games like this before in his career.He's had 12 seasons, that are 10 * 38 games + 2* 34 (Portuguese league) = 448. 12 games + 448 are 460 in total. 12/460 games = in 2.6% of his league career he's having such a bad run. It's not a joke, it's a myth. In his third season with Chelsea (first spell) he won the league cup and FA cup, CL semifinal (out on penalties) and lost the race for the league in the final part of the season. Was that a bad season? I think not, we all regret we couldn't make it three in a row, but it's not a failure. Same goes for the CL semi, it's a shame we could not reach the final and lost on penalties. In his third season with Madrid he won the super copa against Barca, lost cup final vs Atletico, semi final CL and finished second in the liga. Was it a bad season? Results wise not very bad but he lost the dressing room - so you can say yes, it was from the players management perspective a bad season. This running season is a complete failure from the board, manager and the players. Post season tour was a joke - especially when you know the season starts earlier as usual, transfer window was a uber joke - Djilobodji and Hector were our deadline day signings. The players came back overweight, complacent and unmotivated. The manager hasn't found a solution to turn the season around yet.
