  1. Haha I always thought ''Oscar must be his secret son with another wife.''
  2. Trusted again by Mourinho, even in the most important game of his Chelsea career. Come on Oscar, surprise us, have the game of your life please!
  3. Thanks again Skipper, haven't laughed that hard for a while on here, especially in this thread. Will remember this post and vote it as post of the year, or at least joke of the year .
  4. Courtois Ivanovic Zouma JT Azpi Ramires Matic Pedro Willian Hazard Costa I expect this team.
  5. Finally a Dutch team in the last 16, when that happens we all support them no matter who we normally support. A bit like supporting the Dutch national team.
  6. Schurrle starts! Wolfsburg XI vs Manchester United: Benaglio, Träsch, Rodriguez, Dante, Naldo, Guilavogui, Arnold, Draxler, Vieirinha, Schürrle, Kruse. Manchester United XI vs Wolfsburg: De Gea, Varela, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Fellaini, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Mata, Memphis, Martial.
  7. I understand your decision mate, this thread went quiet for 1 month because in November we only lost once: Stoke where we played well and Remy should've had a penalty. After that a draw against Spurs where people thought we would eat 4-5 goals but we kept a clean sheet, and another 3 wins. We were improving in November but people act like that month never happened, one lose against Bournemouth and BAM! - all of them are partying again on here. It's very easy to be liked on TC, you simply have to register an account today like that piece of plastic Bellion, just say ''F*ck Mourinho'' or ‘’Mourinho out'' and you are guaranteed likes from members. Or maybe call all the Mourinho defenders fanboys and ass kissers, nothing will happen - no warnings at all.
  8. Also fits his career path: Barca, Bayern, United (all clubs managed in that order by Louis van Gaal)
  9. Says nothing because we played for nothing but pride anymore after 35 matches. We were 13 points clear of City after match day 35 (Crystal Palace) and won the league, and we still had 3 noncompetitive games where we had nothing to lose, in those remaining games we dropped 5 points, drew with Pool, lost vs WBA, beat Sunderland. So in the first half of the season we had 46, second half of the season 41 points, 87 in total, not that much of a contrast considering we dropped 5 points in noncompetitive games. The problem is solely this season, 15 points after 15 games. If you want to talk about playing style and form, then that's another story.
  10. Nah Jason and Alex explained it before, If Kiev wins + Chelsea win = Chelsea top group If Kiev wins + draw = Kiev top group if Kiev wins + Porto win = Porto top group If Kiev fails to win, and Chelsea/Porto wins = winner top group If Kiev fails to win, and Chelsea Porto draw = Porto top group
  11. Pep Guardiola is willing to wait until 2017 to join Manchester United. [sun] #MUFC
  12. Courtois: Important week 'Of course we are upset, but we have to regroup again and show strength against Porto in the Champions League and next Monday at Leicester,' said Courtois. 'It's an important week for us. On Wednesday we have to win to make sure we are first and qualified. That will be a big boost for the team as well. 'Then Leicester away is a difficult game. We knew last year it was not easy there and now they have the confidence and are playing really well. It will be a very tough game but we are confident we can push on there.' Saturday's game against Bournemouth marked the first time the Blues have failed to score in a home Premier League fixture since May 2014 and Courtois felt his team-mates were unfortunate not to register on the scoresheet. 'We had some chances, we didn't finish them and at the end the game can change,' he reflected. 'It was difficult creating open chances, although we had them, and if we had scored one then maybe more would come. 'At home you always want to win. We had the confidence after our last games. We were unlucky in our finishing. 'I think this season we are a bit unlucky some games, but we have the same good team as last year and that team was champions so I think we have the quality to get out of this situation and we just have to fight every day, every game.' After missing 17 games through injury since his previous Blues appearance against Crystal Palace, Courtois was left with mixed feelings about his comeback. 'I just try to play my game, help the team like every player wants to do,' he said. 'I think I started well with some good saves, but it's a pity for the goal I couldn't have a good touch on the ball. 'If you're being pushed by another guy it's not easy to have a hard hit on the ball and it ended up at the wrong foot and it was a goal.' http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/12/courtois--important-week.html
  13. Pick the best goal we scored last month and you could win a shirt signed by the player of your choice. A: Willian v Dynamo KievB: Diego Costa v NorwichC: Oscar v Maccabi Tel AvivD: Ruben Loftus-Cheek v Liverpool U21s They even let out Willian's second free kick goal of November, we don't need to vote, just give it to Willian already. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/12/vote-now-for-november-s-best-goal.html
  14. We support Mourinho because of Chelsea, we don't support Chelsea because of Mourinho. We support the one who gave us so much joy and success at his time here, 3 out of our 4 league titles since Roman are won with Jose. Don't forget the 2 League cups, 1 FA cup and 3 CL semi finals. This is the first season that he is really struggling and you're immediately calling for his head and name him '' a stinker of a manager'' , ''clown'' or ''fraud''. Such a disgrace, loyalty isn't in your dictionary. If we are fanboys and sycophants, then you're fucking piece of plastic and glory hunter.
  15. Jose Mourinho future: Chelsea manager realises Porto defeat in Champions League could be fatal Roman Abramovich still wants to keep Jose Mourinho as manager despite Chelsea suffering an eighth league defeat of a miserable season on Saturday, but there is a growing fear in the club’s higher circles that Champions League elimination on Wednesday could force the owner’s hand. Sources have told The Independent there has been widespread belief around both Mourinho and the club in the last week that he has got past the worst of the crisis and that “the storm is over” – as was reflected in the manager’s upbeat mood in his press conference before the Bournemouth game. Yet a 1-0 defeat to a Glenn Murray goal has caused doubt to resurface, and Chelsea must now avoid defeat to Porto at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday to ensure they reach the last 16 of the Champions League. Although the possibility of sacking Mourinho has at least been discussed at the top level of the club a few times this season, Abramovich has remained strong in his belief that the Portuguese should be given time to turn things around, partially because the owner wants Chelsea to start doing things differently and partially because of the lack of options. To strengthen that position, the club is willing to make significant funds available for a shake-up in the transfer window next month. Mourinho recently played down the idea of new purchases, but it is known that he feels the squad is too small – leading to an over-reliance on core players which has played into this season’s bad start – that he wants another central defender and to greatly enhance his attack. There is an acknowledgement at the top of the club that the lack of forward options has not helped Mourinho, especially since he seems to have resolved defensive issues, despite the somewhat chaotic nature of Murray’s winner on Saturday. Diego Costa is the only top-class forward they have, but his poor form led the manager to start him on the bench again on Saturday, putting Eden Hazard up front once more. Beyond that, Loïc Rémy is not seen as a starter, and the club will look to move Radamel Falcao on in January. It has meant that, even though Chelsea have started to keep clean sheets again, they are barely scoring. The champions have got only one goal in their last four league games, so the club will look to aid Mourinho next month. Chelsea have been monitoring Alex Teixeira of Shakhtar Donetsk, and their hand has been strengthened by the Ukrainian club’s elimination from the Champions League, but Mourinho’s side could yet find themselves in a similar situation. A draw against Porto on Wednesday would definitely put the English champions into the next round, but the concern is that their home form has been so poor, and they have already been beaten by inferior sides to the Portuguese at Stamford Bridge this season. It is set to be a nervous night in west London, and some at the club believe that could influence Abramovich’s thinking. The Russian is known to prize the Champions League far above all other competitions, and one factor that has bolstered his belief that Mourinho can turn things around has been that they have stayed on course in that competition. Defeat could change that, though, and cause another round of intense discussion at the top of the club. It would mark just the second time they have gone out at the group stage since Abramovich took over in 2003. Mourinho has not been given an ultimatum or anything of the sort, but is aware that Wednesday could be a defining game. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/jose-mourinho-future-chelsea-manager-realises-porto-defeat-in-champions-league-could-be-fatal-a6762486.html
  16. To have reached one of your minimum targets could release pressure from the players, it's also good to have another competition to focus on where they are at least doing okay. I believe this could boost their performances in December. I agree RLC and Remy deserve starts though. Exactly this. The minimum target/requirement for 1 competition is achieved, so that means/proves the season isn't a 100% failure. If we fail to qualify, I agree the season is over. I don't believe we're doomed, United went 1 season without CL football and nothing happened. We are already an established big club in the world.
  17. I assume reaching the 2nd round of the CL is one of the minimum targets for the season. If he achieved this, how would you react? And do you think that reaching the 2nd round could have a positive influence on the players and their performances for the rest of December?
  18. Judge him after the Porto game.
  19. Hi friend, Imagine that one of the reported problems were true: The board didn't want to strengthen the squad but Jose wanted to do it. Do you think Jose can say this in public? No he can't, he can't openly criticize the owner and the board. By the way, I am not saying that not strengthening the squad is an excuse that we're in 14th with 15 points after 15 games.
  20. If we don't qualify for the last 16, I'm pretty sure Jose will be gone.
  21. Game of the season Qualify for the last 16 and suddenly everything will look different. Before the season started the club probably set some targets, something like: - win the league but at least make top 4. - go to the semifinals of the CL but at least make the last 16. So if we qualify, it will be a major relief for the players + club because there is at least one big competition where they are doing well and that could be a big mental boost for them to have a better month and rest of the season.
  22. Chelsea subs: Begovic, Azpilicueta, Mikel, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Remy, Diego Costa. #cfc
  23. Team v Bournemouth: Courtois; Ivanovic ©, Zouma, Cahill, Baba; Fabregas, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Pedro; Hazard.
