  1. Pedro, Remy, Hazard, Cahill, RLC, Kenedy that's a very strong bench
  2. He is not trying to shift the blame, as he is just repeating what he said 2-3 months ago. Here is what Jose said himself in April/May about his targets: "I think we need three (new) players. A striker because we lost our legend (Didier Drogba), a defender and a midfield player." http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/revealed-chelseas-top-transfer-targets-this-summer-10311655.html Pat Nevin said the same as Rob Beasley: Mourinho knew Chelsea had big problems in the summer, says former Blues winger Pat Nevin http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/jose-mourinho-knew-chelsea-had-big-problems-in-the-summer-says-former-blues-winger-pat-nevin-a3100496.html
  3. Reporter is Rob Beasley (quite reliable?), basically repeated what he said in the summer. the article: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/6725445/Jose-Mourinho-told-Chelsea-to-sign-Gareth-Bale-Raheem-Sterling-and-John-Stones.html?CMP=spklr-_-Editorial-_-TWITTER-_-TheSunFootball-_-20151104-_-SunFootballSocial-_-269085493-_-Imageandlink A close friend revealed: “Jose felt he was being asked to work miracles. “The club thought he didn’t need any new players, that essentially the same squad could dominate again “But he knew differently. He laughed at the idea but not because he found the situation funny — far from it. “He knew he needed a fresh injection of talent, he knew he needed to increase competition for places and depth to his squad. “He knew it was dangerous to stand still and give other sides the opportunity to play catch-up.” Belatedly Chelsea tried to make up for lost time — and they failed. It’s proving an expensive failure, too. And the man who stands to pay the ultimate price for that failure is not Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, not chairman Bruce Buck, not main director Marina Granovskaia. It’s the man who sounded the alarm bells long before a ball was even kicked. Funny old game, hey? Unless your name is Mourinho.
  4. This might be the reason why he's still here.
  5. Top top presser by John, I'm proud of how he defended himself and Jose.
  6. Chelsea and Jose Mourinho in high spirits ahead of Kiev clash http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10054131/chelsea-and-jose-mourinho-in-high-spirits-ahead-of-kiev-clash
  7. I agree, giving him 1-2 more months as ''deadline'' would hurt us and insult Jose even more. You either give him full support for a year or just let him go, this ''1 week/month to save your career'' thing is torture. Look at Klopp, he said it himself, he never felt pressure that he would be sacked, that's why he could turn the season around.
  8. what's up with him? Suddenly so much support for Jose
  9. Roman Abramovich still believes in Jose Mourinho and WILL give him more time, says Andriy Shevchenko http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/roman-abramovich-still-believes-jose-6756931 Hope this is true
  10. Some said "he is the best manager in the world" or " I don't want him to leave". But for example Matic said "I will do whatever he asks from me, I respect all my managers in my career" is already a different tone. But yes they of course can't say negative things.
  11. Cesc his gf backed Jose on twitter yesterday and he has a good relationship with him. Oscar and Ramires backed Jose after the Pool game Pedro is bought very recently and is given a starting spot JT said prior the Pool game that Jose is still the best Cahill, Bego, Remy, Zouma, Diego all backed him recently. Willian, Kenedy and Azpi are showing their support on the pitch. Falcao is given a second chance in the EPL, Amelia has been given a dream chance. Ivanovic is injured plus his vice captain. Mikel is a trusted squad player. Baba, Traore, Blackman and Djilobodji are unlikely to say such things. Don't think it's Eden as he also backed Jose and tried all his best in the Stoke game. It's a confidence problem that he has. That leaves us with the final 2: RLC and Matic. RLC also backed Jose recently but after the Villa game he disappeared also from the bench, could've been a fall out with Jose about his work attitude. When asked about his support for Mourinho, Matic said" I support all my managers". Not very convincing. Most likely, it's just BS.
  12. Jose Mourinho has two games to save his Chelsea job, sources tell ESPN FC, with Carlo Ancelotti interested. http://www.espnfc.com/uefa-champions-league/story/2693096/jose-mourinho-has-two-games-to-save-chelsea-job
  13. Today, it seems that Mourinho’s exit is becoming increasingly inevitable as super agent Lou Sticca has just tweeted out that the Special One is already gone. Sticca has been involved in some of the most high profile transfers in Australian and Asian football in recent years and is also the Managing Director of Tribal Sports Group. He is extremely well connected in the footballing world so his claim should not be taken lightly. However, whether it is actually true or not cannot be confirmed as of yet
  14. Let me tell you what I know on the Chelsea story. My information comes from a Chelsea first team player. The information was actually passed to me by a football contact. I was told that Jose Mourinho’s relationship with many of his players is at rock bottom. I was told they’re fed up with the way he’s been dealing with some of them. They’re fed up with his outbursts. I was told that his relationship particularly with Eden Hazard was under immense strain. Here’s a staggering quote. One player said recently, “I’d rather lose than win for him”. Now that last quote may well have been said in the heat of the moment, but it perhaps gives an insight into the mood of some of the players. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06mccvf#play
  15. It's a tough period to be Jose I think, one game the players give everything and play very well (Stoke) and the next game the same group of players play very very bad. (Liverpool). For example Hazard was my MOTM vs Stoke, despite missing a penalty, he looked like a reborn child in the #10 role, but the next game vs Pool he completely disappeared, Jose even dropped Cesc to play Eden there. Mikel was rewarded with a starting spot over Matic, but then vs Pool he managed to lose 3 balls in midfield to create danger for our team. Oscar was also rewarded but played like he didn't care much. Jose must be scratching his head all the time this season. We're also missing some leadership on the pitch and dressing room, we've lost DD, Cech, Cole, Essien, Lamps in a very short amount of time. This quote says it all: Ballack: "During my time at Chelsea, there were 5 or 6 captains of national teams in the dressing room. Now there is a lack of everything."
  16. The club has a big decision to make and there are two ways to go: 1) back him COMPLETELY or 2) sack him IMMEDIATELY Any other middle solution is bad for the players and the club and an insult to Jose. It's like having an unstable relationship with someone who could break up with you any moment. Why would you invest more time and energy in the relationship then? Don't back him for 50% or 1 month and let him and the players in an anxious mood, don't give the manager and players the feeling that any important game could be the last game with Jose. First the players who admire him will try everything to safe their manager (West Ham, Stoke), but once the results aren't coming they will lose confidence and some weak minded players might even give up. ''Why should I track back when Jose will be sacked soon anyway?'' Since it's obvious that I am in the ''Mourinho IN'' camp, I will only clarify what is backing him COMPLETELY: - Make an internal statement to Jose + the group of players that Jose will remain as the manager no matter what. (to take away the pressure, anxiousness and re-motivate the weak minded players) - Support him in full for the January window, and give him a fair chance to rebuild from there. (Compensation for the horror summer window) - Optional: Kill the media rumors that has a bad influence on the fans and players : Make a stronger media statement that Jose is the man for this job and the club wants to keep him for years no matter what happens this season. (the first statement was short and weak, it was a good example of a 50% backing statement) - Reassess Jose's position in the summer: the above statements are of course half fake ''no matter what'' has its bottom line, the club can't relegate for example. So back him or sack him, no middle way please.
  17. 10 months? But why didn't the board help him to fix the issues in the summer? The playes dropped in form and we had the same points as City on 1 January, but still this "bad" manager lead us to the double. I doubt any other manager could change things so quickly and still end the season with 2 trophies. A EPL+COC double is still a double. Would not change anything on here though, the moaners will still moan.
  18. True, he is finished at top level. That's why he came back to the EPL and was unbeaten vs the top 6 in the league in 2013-14 (4 wins, 2 draws), took us back to the CL semi's and won the DOUBLE last year. 2 bad months in football and people forget what the man has done in 5 years for this club. Comedy.
  19. Hiddink as interim? Him and Blind failed to qualify with the Netherlands for the Euros for the first time in 30 years. He could not even make top 3 to go to the play offs.
