I'm sorry but this forum became unreadable with this Vespa girl literally spamming every thread... You really need to take it down a notch. No one wants to read these scouting reports of yours in each and every thread on the forum.

Footballover reacted to petre.ispirescu in 🇧🇪 Eden Hazard
I always said that a top team must have a stand out player, an X factor like Cristiano Ronaldo for Madrid, Messi for Barcelona, Neymar (and Mbappe) for Paris, De Bruyne for City, Salah now for Liverpool, Robben (and Ribery) for years at Bayern etc. We have our own in Hazard and we might lose this luxury, but what can you do if his heart is set on Madrid?
For me and it's my opinion only, I think he would go there at the wrong time. Madrid have won four of the last five Champions League trophies and Ronaldo is gone now. Zidane, too. Lots of ageing players in Modric, Ramos, Marcelo. Add to that these players, this Real Madrid generation has won so many trophies in the last years it's impossible for them to replicate this again and especially for a lot of them to find that big motivation, that big hunger again. Look at Varane - 25 years old, four Champions League titles and World Cup winner, will be playing for fun from now on, he's won the biggest trophies you can get as a footballer.
Make no mistake the Real Madrid fans will expect a Ronaldo replacement with the same appetite for goals and I am afraid Hazard is not the one they are looking for. When things will get tight and Bale will go into his annual four months on the injury list, all the burden will be left on Hazard's shoulders and he'll have to step up and score loads of goals otherwise those fans will turn against him in a blink and his price tag is going to be the first quoted and branded a flop after a few bad games. And believe me the Spanish fans are the worst you will see, football is just politics in that country, their arrogance makes me puke.
If it was me I'd rather have lived as a king at Chelsea than as a simple player that has once played for Madrid because surely he is not going to end up as a legend there, simply does not have the goal scoring capabilities and that's all what matters at that club when they pay monster money for you. But it's his decision in the end.

Absolute bollocks you have no idea what supporting a club is about . You say you have no history of supporting Liverpool but when they sing about Chelsea '' You ain't got no history'' it's aimed squarely at geezers like you . Your the one who said you won't be following Chelsea this season I hope you keep your word. No one wants Chelsea to struggle but if we do that's when your supposed to show some loyalty not threaten to stop following them I can't be bothered with you mate I'm going down the boozer later with Chelsea and other teams fans to watch England what will you be doing ? drinking Tizer and asking your mum to cut the crusts off your peanut butter sandwiches.

Your the epitome of the modern spoilt football fan. You have zero loyalty you have seen us win trophy after trophy and because you don't like the way things are going you say you won't bother anymore good I hope you don't mate. You think coming fifth and winning the cup is a shambles fucking hell I've seen Chelsea nearly get relegated to the old Division 3. Your so plastic it's embarrassing and I've seen some terrible posts on football forums but this is the worst I've ever seen.

@Mana
So you think that if Chelsea are not challenging for titles you're not going to support them.
Let me tell you something, supporting your club through thick and thin is all about about being a real supporter.
What you're talking about is being a GLORY hunter, because unless Chelsea are in your blood you're not a supporter, you say there's more important thing in life................no there aint CFC is my life, and of any true supporter.

I've won the battle with myself to keep this polite so I'll just say that I hope yours is not a widely held opinion among Chelsea fans, and that we need to avoid sounding like spoiled brats. Indeed, even more than that, we need to avoid actually being spoiled brats.

What are you even talking about? Alonso is a very good footballer, he was amazing for us last year and continues to provide the goods this term, even, if rightly so, he is a little bit burned out. The man is working his socks off every single game for the last year and can't even get the sheer acknowledgment for that from our fans.
I have no idea what are your expactations from a left wing back but all in all I can assure you there are not many better than this guy. I am really not sure if your beloved Alex Sandro is better than him this season. Anyway, you don't need a world class player in every position and I think our LWB position is the least of our problems.
Alonso needs rest and needs competition, but he is a good player and gets no recognition for his great service at this club, and really I'm quite tired of seeing people bashing him after every game (like really, what wrong did he do yesterday? he was slow?). Some of you here even try to take the credit off his goals because he is a wing back (?!)... Somehow only Chelsea fans see all these wrongs...

Footballover reacted to BlueLyon in 🇧🇪 Michy Batshuayi
I find players in football as someone who needs support based on their experience rather than age.
Luca Toni comes to my mind. He was 28 when he made his breakthrough in fiorentina (he was already good in palermo but fiorentina was truly the step forward before he went to bayern at 30).
So what if Bats was 24? Yes he is older, but that doesnt mean he is there on top to lead the team. Same for Bakayoko or Morata who are 23 and 25. Same for Drogba who was 26.
Its all what was before. You have Eden who was destroying ligue 1 at 21. Or Kante who led leicester to title. Or Torres who was regular scorer for Pool. Some did succeed, some didnt.
But point is some players are ready sooner and some arent. And those who are not need more time and trust. It doesnt mean they will never make it.
I mean what did you expect when Morata and when Costa arrived? Both were 25. But I expected for Costa to be instant impact while Morata needed at least one season IMO.
It also goes to say 10, 15 years ago 18 year olds had already same mentality to those of 24 year olds now. Younger generations completely changed since internet became everything. Not to mention where they are coming from.
Michy might be 24, but its clear he isnt ready mentaly and needs quality, organised environment around him.
To others belief he is shit and will never make it in top team, I wont be surprised if he is top striker on the level of Salah or Kdb once.

Footballover reacted to BlueLyon in 🇧🇪 Michy Batshuayi
Salah didnt give any reason to play back then but look at him now.
I think its funny how people now blame Bats that he will never become good player just to defend Conte or club and even go to a point even if he succeeds it will be in a ''poor'' league where only one team is good. LOL. De Bruyne played there too and is now fucking excellent.
Lets just be honest here, we are dogshit in developing and caresing players with trust and patience. Dogshit. Nearly every younger player performed better elsewhere and before you point out they played in inferior teams where nothing matters, take a look at Salah, KDB, Lukaku who are all now playing for big team. Lukaku is perhaps still not there, but has potential, while other two are doing fantastic job.
I have to laugh at all of you (no disrespect though) when you lowplay Bats and will probably claim he is shit and useless for Chelsea, even if he bangs 15 goals now in Bundesliga.
Fact is we cant develop such players, and indeed he didnt perform well for us, but thats not because he doesnt have potential, but again, because we are crap at developing. We throw them out on pitch, with live or die orders, and expect them to have iron mentality, we expect them to die on that pitch, yet the love isnt bothsided, because if they underperform, the fans will call for their heads imeddiately and the board along with coach will bench them, loan them and sell them first second. Conditions like that are ridiculous. Yes we pay them, but so does every other big club and thats no excuse to just expect them to be like robots now.
If Christensen didnt succeed this season, even with all his potential, he would be on the way out by now. There is no faith and patience for our players, not one bit.
But I can already expect same people who talk crap about Bats, if and when he becomes better, they will blame the board for selling him, while right now, they have no patience and faith in him themselves. Hypocrites.
I would expect people to learn this simple shit by now. We play with one or max two consistent attackers for several years with rest of the squad full-on defensive. Our talented attackers dont succeed because our pragmatic tactics and worst possible environment. There have been many examples mentioned several times and very possibly Bats could be just another one to add to the list.
But he is still our player. Instead of looking at positive side how well he started the career at BVB, nah lets call that league shit, lets say he is shity player and lets go on Giroud bangwagon pretending he will save the club. Reality is in two years, Giroud will leave us frustrated as expected while Bats will perform great for another (probably top PL club).
People didnt like Eden in his bad season called for his head and to be sold, good call he only became the best player we have by big margin since.
People didnt like Costa for his behaviour, celebrated his sale, good call, now we dont have quality striker and people want another one, because paying 70 for Morata didnt work as planned and Costa was actualy fuckin great striker.
Lets just support the players we have when they are not doing well, shall we? Its easy to support them when they are in top form. Bats got new start and lets hope he doest well.
Btw, this isnt only on you Jason, its several fans here who need to see the bigger picture in football, its not all black and white.

This is not called "throwing light" on something. Throwing light is giving a professional and coherent interpretation of a players' attributes based on your opinion after you actually watched him play football. And yes, a full season as a starter for Roma is quite enough to obtain an opinion about a player. Clearly you never saw him in action so I'll just say - sometimes silence is golden.
I haven't seen him play but after some intelligence work around Roma forums, they seem to be upset to lose him for such low price and they also say he is a very good prospect. Some even say he has world class potential. The general trend is that he is a very hard worker with some Brazilian flair on the side. I believe he will come good, just like other notable low profile defenders we brought in the last decade.
Good luck Emerson!

He's superb technique is underrated around here, and in the league, which is unsurprising tbh. The pl values pace and power over technique, but Europe is a different story, not to mention what city is turning into.
Yes he's a bit slow for a wb and perhaps not a great defender for an lb, but he has very strong attributes in other important areas, which haven't changed really.
my point being is that we signed Alonso for what he is and reckon we got even more than what we expected, esp considering his direct influence with key goals and assists.
he was a bit reckless in his tackles today at stoke and was happy conte noticed and acted on it. He's wasn't bad though with good passing, sometimes one-touch passes that only few in the squad are comfortable doing.
