Source: Champions League soccer blog As much as I would like to see Jose back in England, it would be strange to see him at another club. If it ever goes wrong with Carlo I would love to have him back!
-
Tat hits the nail on the head. I think we can only really judge him next season.
-
Agreed, I'll support him but we can't just pretend what he did didn't happen, he has been a scumbag off the pitch and deserves to be punished for it (like the majority of the England team).
-
But isn't that article a bit redundant now after what has come out? It's like a story praising Tiger Woods' family man image!
-
He will get rid I reckon and put Rooney as captain, there is no-one else IMO. He should definitely keep him in the side though.

John Terry's been a bad boy!
northernblue replied to We Hate Scouse's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I love Terry as a player but off the field it seems he can't help but behave like a c***. His arrogance knows no bounds and this isn't the first time his off-pitch antics have damaged his reputation. I can't say I'm surprised either. I read in this football betting blog that Ancelotti is publicly backing his man, but I hope in private he has had a right go at Terry. However if Capello acts quickly he can stop the media witch hunt from damaging England's World Cup chances. I'd strip him of the captancy to maintain squad discipline but keep Terry in the side and challenge him to prove his worth. Hopefully then his good qualities will shine through. -
Yeah not surprised it's an early kick-off, the Cardiff fans have a bit if a reputation!!

Great performance against a side bang in form, we needed a convincing win with United in cup action, back where we belong!!

Mourinho is still a legend, some quality quotes form him after the game: “But we were perfect. We would have won this game even with seven men. Maybe with six we would have struggled, but we would have won with seven.” Serie A Football Blog

McLeish has really got B'ham playing this season, 15 games unbeaten something like that, I reckon this will be a draw 1-1

Bragging rights for United, Upper hand for Us?
northernblue replied to misschief's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think it's good to have a strong title race and glad we aren't getting to ahead of ourselves, Arsenal and United go top for one week and all of a sudden they think they have won it! We are just quietly getting on with things and hopefully will come out on top in May. -
Sounds like good management, part of earning the players respect is having a laugh with them. It certainly seemed to do the trick against Sunderland!

Adebayor forgot which team he plays for....

How to annoy both your old club and your present club!!! -
Terry should have been more careful, the press are desperate to write these kind of conspiracy stories, it was the same when Scolari was sacked

I prefer the Vanilla Ice tribute idea!

Lampard and J.Cole in the West Ham team of the decade
northernblue replied to Milan's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I can understand Joe Cole but Lampard is an odd one! Just shows how depsite all the abuse they give him when he goes to Upton park, they love him really, the big softies! -
What a nightmare, a that money gone like that - that's a lesson about how NOT to gamble right there! On a side note it was interesting to hear Didier Drogba's comments in this football article on the African Nations. He says the players are 'shattered' after the Togo shooting, do you reckon that explains why they only drew 0-0? And should the tournament have been cancelled because of the attacks?

What is Mancini doing??? According to this football article Patrick Vieira is signing for Man City on a 6-month oan. Juan Veron has also been linked as Mancini obivously tries to re-create the team of the year..... from 1998!! It looks like he is sticking to what he knows by going for old Inter stars but with an almost unlimited budget at City I cant help but feel he is making a mistake going for past it veterans like Vieira.
-
Don't worry we will think of a way pf getting round it. I agree that the absence of Real Madrid in his complaints says it all though!
-
Yeah we missed a trick with Torres, but young player are just as much a gamble s old player. You would hope the club would do some research into the attitude of the player and their chracter. SOme people find it easier to adpat at a new club others don't, regardless of their age. It s those mental strengths that make good players great.

City intercept Chelsea transfer plans

Exactly, anything to get people to click on their stories, I don't believe anything they say, it's all re-hashed rumours and rubbish! -
Chelsea to face Preston in 4th Round
northernblue replied to Drogba11CFC's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It has always been the case in the FA cup that if the first tie is a draw a replay is played at the other teams ground. In the past there has even been 2nd and even third replays, often at neutral grounds. But the fixture congestion meant extra time and pens were introduced to decide drawn replays. As for Preston it won't be easy (look at Leeds!) away games against lower league opposition are always tricky as the crowd will be well up for it and so will the players. An early goal will be crucial. It was good to hear Carlo Ancelotti in this football article saying he is taking the cup seriously.True I would love the Premier League and the Champions League, but there is something special about a day out at Wembley,as we found last season. -
i got this from another forum a piss off wolves fan

Mccarthy was justified after they beat Burnley, they were unlucky against City last night though. -
Ancelotti: I'll strip naked if I break my word on transfers
northernblue replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
In a way I hope we don't sign anyone after Ancelotti has made such a fuss about it. If he goes back on his word could we ever trust a word he says from now on if we do get people in? -
Another former Prem club struggling just a few years after relegation, are they overstretching themselves when they get promoted? though in this case it does sound like the ex-chairman is not doing them any favours.
