I can't say I'm surprised either. I read in this football betting blog that Ancelotti is publicly backing his man, but I hope in private he has had a right go at Terry. However if Capello acts quickly he can stop the media witch hunt from damaging England's World Cup chances. I'd strip him of the captancy to maintain squad discipline but keep Terry in the side and challenge him to prove his worth. Hopefully then his good qualities will shine through.

What is Mancini doing??? According to this football article Patrick Vieira is signing for Man City on a 6-month oan. Juan Veron has also been linked as Mancini obivously tries to re-create the team of the year..... from 1998!! It looks like he is sticking to what he knows by going for old Inter stars but with an almost unlimited budget at City I cant help but feel he is making a mistake going for past it veterans like Vieira.

It has always been the case in the FA cup that if the first tie is a draw a replay is played at the other teams ground.In the past there has even been 2nd and even third replays, often at neutral grounds. But the fixture congestion meant extra time and pens were introduced to decide drawn replays. As for Preston it won't be easy (look at Leeds!) away games against lower league opposition are always tricky as the crowd will be well up for it and so will the players. An early goal will be crucial.
