Yes, Spurs have the potential but how long more can people play that up? For years, people have been talking about Spurs having the potential, building something good, being one of the best English sides but what do they have to show for all that? Nothing. No Premier League title. No Champions League title. Not even the FA Cup or League Cup. Just some good results in Europe and putting the pressure on in the league. There's really no point if you have the quality but don't back it up with trophy(ies), even with one of the domestic cups. This Spurs team is on borrowed time. If they don't win something real soon, it won't take long for their big players to leave (Walker chose to leave them last summer and has already won 2 trophies. might even end up with 3!) and hell, Pochettino might even be tempted to leave if one of the bigger clubs come calling.

The days of footballers getting jobs the minute they stop playing appears to be over. Giggs had to wait a couple of years and managing Wales isn't a top job just look what Coleman has done at Sunderland. Gerrard is coaching Liverpool's under 20's, Gary Neville was a disaster in Spain, Phil Neville has got a job for the England's women's team yet you think Lampard could take over at Chelsea.
Your taking rumour as fact Lampard's name will be mentioned as a potential Chelsea manager because of his playing career there is zero chance of him becoming manager now or in the near future. Conte has a Premiership title, Italian titles and managed the Italian national team do you honestly think Chelsea would go for Lampard with no experience it's ridiculous it's heart ruling head.

I don’t think Costa would. I remember too many times where he received the ball and ended up just dribbling into the defense and giving it away. His physical presence would be more useful though.

I still stick to the opinion that he can come good here, but Conte needs to give him a break. He is completely shot off confident and it has got to a point that he is shying away from the ball and he seems also frightened to receive it. He needs to build up confidence. It is good that we have Barkley coming in. Bakayoko just needs to have a little break and work on his technical game. He panics under pressure and he knows the crowd are on to him when he receives the ball. It was actually glaring to see the amount of times, Bakoyoko did not offer himself for a pass in difficult situations because he is scared about making a mistake. Hope he can come good but defo needs a break from the team.

Hazard and Fabregas were not booed 

It wasn't like our supporters were booing him or going over the top. Just the usual "awws" after the constant misplaced passes. Tony Gale made it and like the fans were throwing beer and popcorn at the players or something.

Tony Gale. 277 appearances for Fulham and 300 appearances for West Ham. He's completely unable to be unbiased. It's been happening for years and it seems like he's always commentating on our matches.

I know Hazard is our best player but for god sake, he's not immune to criticism! Every time he goes AWOL, people keep finding excuses for him. Did anyone see the number of times he gave the ball away against Leicester? Had it been Willian, people would have thrown him under the bus.

The Atletico and Huddersfield games he was excellent, he was decent vs Brighton and at The Emirates, pretty poor the last two games granted but the last time he was this poor was vs Wolves last season.

He wasn't playing well today. Nowhere near it.

I mean that he has the physique to impose himself and seeing him at Monaco last season, he obviously has the stamina to get up and down the pitch.
But at the moment, technically he's way off.

Really not good at the moment, but I don't think he should be given up on. He has the physical attributes to dominate games, he just needs to become far more polished.
For me he needs taking out of the firing line at the moment because he is clearly short of confidence and struggling, and fans are losing patience. If Barkley is fit, we now have five senior options for those midfield berths so hopefully we can get him out for a bit.

Theres fit to play and Contes fit to play lol But gotta get him used to how the lads play and who runs where. Only comes thru training/playing/watching vids.
I should think theres only 3 players we got that we would all agree on. Dave,Kante and Eden. And then theres still some who would  still knock each of the 3.
It wouldn't matter who we bought it would be a gamble. This is a very cheap one that we already made money on him. I got good hopes for him.

15 M for young english player is a steal in this market....Hope he becomes a successful player
