I'd rather keep Diego than get Lukaku, but what are you talking about? He averaged 88 minutes per appearance in the league last season. That's the same as Costa.

Some people want something different. Some want traditional colors. I think the problem with purple is it's so close to blue, they might as well use blue for any accents and a full purple kit is too close to the home color. The black and orange one posted a few pages ago would be awesome though.

It's my favorite shirt, but after today, it is being retired to my wall in a nice frame, only to be brought out for cup finals and league clinching matches. I hope that I am able to frame the shirt with the memory of John Terry winning the double and the shit from the Lane winning fuck all again. Regardless, thank you for everything JT. I have not been able to find the words to describe what he has meant to me as a supporter. He's the embodiment of the only Chelsea I've ever known. He's been hated. He's been hurt. He's been tragic. He's been greatness. I don't think I'll ever see a captain of a team in any sport be as truly great as JT has been. We're in good hands, but it'll still suck next season.

I would rather Arsenal get the 4th place spot than Liverpool. I don't want to hear "THE MAGIC OF EUROPEAN NIGHTS AT ANFIELD" all next season.

According to the Telegraph, Wenger is going to stay 2 more seasons and will accept a change in the structuring of the club It will probably be made public after the FA Cup final. Hopefully we'll smash them in the final and make the announcement that much sweeter.

That's what I'd be worried about. I don't have a problem with the Yokohama logo, but that Carabao one is horrible. But I don't think they'd put both the PL badge and the sponsorship logo on the sleeve. It'd just be the sponsorship.

Stoke now have a sleeve sponsor. The new PL rules state a club can have a sleeve sponsor on the left sleeve and the league badge will just be on the right arm. I wonder if the clubs without a sponsor will still have badges on both sleeves.

I haven't been able to watch the match yet, just listened to it. I've now listened to 2 straight matches on radio and I have no clue how anyone can draw conclusions based solely on listening It was great to hear how it seemed like such a party atmosphere and a celebration. I would have loved to be there.

I think part of it has to do with the pressure Hazard puts on defenders when he's on the left as well. They must focus on him at all times, leaving Alonso slightly more space. The same isn't needed with Pedro or Willian. IMO, 75% of focus is put on Hazard and 25% is on Alonso, meanwhile focus is closer to 60/40 (arbitrary numbers, but it makes the point).
