The headline says Conte is distant with players.
-
Because people love sensationalism.
-
Mate, didn't you know? You can't touch a Spurs player! I'm genuinely worried about the refereeing next week. Im not one who usually does, but given how our matches vs. Spurs recently, I'm going to assume the referee will be a big point of focus.
-
That's honestly what worries me. I can see tons of calls going Spurs' way and the referee losing control of this match quickly. I agree, even with the lack of depth, we have enough quality to put out a starting XI that can beat Spurs.
-
Good to see the fighting spirit is still there. It looked worrying in the first half, but through all the mental mistakes, shit refereeing and goals for Burnley, we almost drew with 9 men.
-
Looked like Fabregas wanted to
-
Why to not be ridiculously reactionary
-
Who the fuck is this referee? I've never noticed him before and he's definitely trying to be center stage today.
-
Simple. Morata is new and Michy isn't. Michy also looked a lot better in preseason. But that goal combined with how Michy looked in the first half probably has solidified Morata as the starter from now on.
-
If they can get another one, I'll be ok with the match. Obviously, we should have won this, but getting two back and looking better is a positive sign given how the match started.

Fans who tuck in their football shirts are worse than full kit wankers

It could be entirely possible that it was Mourinho's fault as well. He was pretty cunty that season. It's not unthinkable that he was as bad or worse behind the scenes.
-
That was the case under Klopp at Dortmund as well, though not to this level.
-
Or not get fucked you Scouse twats
-
Morata isn't going to start, and I don't think that's screwing him. Conte has said he needs more time to adjust to the system and he also needs time to adjust to the league. If Batshuayi continues to progress, Conte will have a decision to make, but for now, I think it's an easy choice to start Batshuayi.
-
Zorc has said he's been found in Dortmund and that it was a calculated move by him. They've suspended him until Monday. He'll miss a cup game, but I don't know if he would have played much in the match anyway.
-
Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful. I was so excited for this kid, and now I can only see him as a self-entitled prat.
-
It's easy to forget the real reason for the Community Shield, but that's what matters the most. That and Arsenal and Chelsea supporters were able unite in hatred for Spurs in Spurs' temporary home.
-
We brought in two on the last day last season. Though we look ill-prepared at the moment, there's still plenty of time. I think one of the reasons people feel uneasy is because of the matches in the first few weeks of the season. But I think we'll do alright. Burnley shouldn't be much of a problem. Tottenham have largely struggled at Wembley, and I hope Bakayoko will be able to play by then. I don't worry much about Everton at home. It's the away fixture that worries me about Everton. Those are the three matches before the end of the transfer window and we should be able to get 7 points with what we have now.
-
Hmm, for all the slating Moses has gotten, we haven't conceded because of him and we're in the lead because of him.
-
Statistics are about even. Obviously it doesn't tell the whole story, but if you're being optimistic, for any differences in play, the end result has been about the same.
-
Conte says he still needs to adapt to Chelsea. Conte said: "I don't know why people are surprised by this choice "It's normal when a player arrives with me, he needs a bit of time to adapt to our football. "He needs time to adapt to our idea, it's very normal. "It's difficult for one player to arrive one day before and play the day after."
-
Stop supporting Chelsea if you hope they "loose". They're not going to watch this match and then all of a sudden realize that. They're well aware of it now.
-
That lineup isn't what I prefer. It's just the lineup I think we'll see. It's the system from last season, which Conte said he wants to keep, and it's largely the players he's picked in the preseason. If we didn't see any experimentation in the previous matches, we're not going to see them in this match. If it were up to me, I'd want to see Morata up front as well, and narrow the two wing positions in behind him. Batshuayi can sit in behind, just offset to the left and Pedro can roam around like Hazard usually does.
-
Courtois Azpi-Luiz-Cahill Moses-Fabregas-Kante-Alonso Willian-Morata-Pedro The only thing I can see being different from this lineup is Morata instead of Pedro and putting Batshuayi in the striker role.
